Noel's outstretched hand froze in the air.
He glanced at Su Lin who suddenly appeared and took his hand back.
"Su Ming'an, I have some information for you." Su Lin turned to Su Ming'an and said, "Lie down and sleep."
Su Mingan understood. Su Lin was trying to pass a message to him through dream weaving, and this message could not be heard by [He Wei].
"Are you injured?" Su Ming'an saw Su Lin covered in blood.
"It's just a small trouble." Su Lin didn't say anything more: "Lie down."
"Do you want Su Mingan to sleep here? Can he sleep?" Noel looked at the ground.
How could anyone fall asleep on such a cold and hard ground? He usually needed a bed to sleep.
"I'll weave a hammock with silk thread..." Before Noel finished his words, he found that Su Ming'an had already lay down and fallen asleep.
Almost as soon as he touched the ground, he closed his eyes. Su Mingan fell asleep surprisingly quickly, just like a traveler who finally found a source of water after a long journey.
Noel was silent for a while, and saw Su Lin's fingers swaying in the air, like an orchestra conductor. The clear and bright light slowly flowed along the five fingers. Noel tilted his head and observed the former Praya god.
"Su Lin, you should have known the nature of this world a long time ago. You have been wandering around outside, but I can't see you anywhere. You must have known part of the truth a long time ago." Noel said.
Su Lin's fingers paused slightly: "I don't deny it."
Noel said: "You knew the truth, but you never told Su Mingan."
Su Lin said: "Yes."
Noel said, "Why? You could have told him the truth in a more gentle way instead of waiting for him to discover the words [Ninth World·Zhai Xing] himself."
Su Lin fixed his gaze on Su Mingan for a moment and said:
"If you don't experience some things in person, you will lack a lot of thinking. If you rely on others to take shortcuts in a copy, you will miss the necessary clues. This is more like a training for personal advancement."
"If we take good care of him and put all the clues in front of him, do you think he would have the acumen he has now as the 'First Player'?"
After hearing this, Noel fell into a brief silence and tapped his fingers on the blue rose cane.
Su Lin said again:
"I've always felt that the atmosphere between you and Su Ming'an was weird. He seemed to trust you a little too much. You all want to bear all the hardships for him, but his future will definitely be even more difficult than it is now. If you don't raise his threshold and upper limit, one day, all of you combined won't be able to bear the pain for him."
"Unless one day he chooses to give up his status as the 'No. 1 Player', suffering and madness must be an important part of his body. He can't stop and wait for anyone, nor can he lie in his comfort zone and wait for someone to feed him. No matter how much anyone feels sorry for him, they shouldn't take on everything for him."
Su Lin said this with a slightly lowered tone:
"So, I won't be his babysitter, nor will I always be around to help you."
Nuo Er was startled, and pondered the philosophy in Su Lin's words for a while. Soon he was shocked: "Isn't it the nanny?"
Su Lin is obviously about to become the recognized nanny in the world forum. Now he comes here to deny it, and even waits until Su Ming'an falls asleep to deny it. Will it be useful?
Su Lin said: "I said so much, but you only understood this one sentence?"
Noel said, "I only agree with your statement."
Su Lin said: "No wonder your team is a little discordant... Your attitude towards others is too sharp. If you hadn't been so against Lu Shu, he wouldn't have been so inferior in the Eighth World. If your team falls apart one day, you must be a major reason."
After Su Lin finished speaking, the room fell silent. Noel lowered his head, his golden hair swirling in the wind.
The only sound in the room was Su Mingan's even breathing. He still had his eyes closed and could not hear the arguments.
“…So Lu Shu is missing. Is it my fault?” After a moment, Noel looked up, the smile on his face gone.
After Su Ming'an fell asleep, Noel said something he would never say before, as if he had lifted a mask of smile.
Su Lin just shook his head: "Some of Lu Shu's actions have meaning in my opinion."
"There's no need for that at all—" Noel took a deep breath, closed his mouth, and said nothing more. He knew that many of Lu Shu's actions were caused by information asymmetry. Lu Shu didn't know that Su Ming'an had a death rollback, so he did many seemingly useful things.
Noel knew this very well, so he wanted to make Lu Shu understand indirectly that Lu Shu didn't need to do too much.
But in the eyes of others, their team was indeed a little discordant. If it weren't for Su Mingan and Lin Yin acting as a regulator, Nuoer and Lu Shu would have fought sooner or later.
"...There's some noise outside the door. I'll go and defend against any robots rushing in." After a moment of silence, Noel turned and left the room.
The only people left in the room were Su Mingan, who was sleeping peacefully, and Su Lin, who was silent beside him.
Five minutes later, the dream weaving technique ended and Su Mingan opened his eyes. As soon as he opened his eyes, he found that only Su Lin was left in the room, and he did not see the bright-haired young boy.
"Where's Noel?"
"He's out." Su Lin didn't mention Noel any more: "You should know what to do next."
Su Mingan nodded: "I had a preliminary idea originally, and now I am more certain."
In the dream, Su Lin told him an important piece of information about the gods, which he might be able to use to launch a counterattack.
Su Lin stared into his eyes and suddenly said, "Actually, there is an even simpler way."
