It was raining heavily, and several pairs of black-soled rubber shoes stepped on the asphalt road, splashing water.

He raised his wrist, and the watch screen flashed blue, showing: [Flight qualification authorized], with his name and photo next to the screen.
"The bridge has been connected. Please get in the pilot's seat if you have obtained the flying qualification."
"The Aviation Administration has approved the flight application. The flight range is 100km within the Measurement City, and the flight time is 20 minutes and 40 seconds. This flight mission is an escort mission. All weapons and equipment of the aircraft have been blocked and cannot be used."
"Pilot Lu Likarpos. The system has recognized your ability to fly the aircraft and approved you to participate in this escort mission."
The broadcast sounded from the watch, and the blue-haired young man raised his head slightly with a distant look.
“Ka-da.”
The movable boarding bridge was connected to the plane, and the blue-haired young man heard the footsteps of soldiers boarding the plane. He put down his hand and walked towards the direction of another plane.
A rose-red-haired woman came towards them. She was tall, pretty, and wearing a flight suit. Behind her followed a line of players.
They stared at each other through the rain, the thick black fog rustling between their flight suits and military uniforms.
"Violet, has the Originium been loaded onto the plane?" said the blue-haired young man.
"Ninety-seven percent of the existing Originium is already being transported to the signal station at the edge of the world, and less than three percent is stored in the city-state as backup energy. Now, most of them are being transported onto the plane." Violet said, "Road. Can you tell me the purpose of this order?"
Lu shook his head:
"This is Su Mingan's order. I don't know what he plans to do next. His plan is all in his mind, and he won't reveal a single word to outsiders."
"He is more cautious about civilization than any of us. His surveillance is everywhere. All our actions and words will be observed. All we can do is..."
Lu put his index finger to his lips:

The searchlight slowly moved across the medals on their chests, outlining the lines of the city-state's military medals. Including every soldier standing outside the terminal, the military medals on their chests were glowing.
Lu raised the horn and a clear voice came out.
"Everyone, our mission is to fly these planes near the Central Building to provide escort and protect one person."
"I believe you can successfully complete this escort mission and help humanity gain that less than one billionth chance of victory."
"Transcending personal origins, wealth, and status, we gather here to face the powerful invaders who want to overthrow human civilization. But I believe that our efforts will not be in vain, and the civilization of the ruined world will surely survive."
"Good luck to you all."
He put down the speaker, and Violet smiled at him: "It's quite easy to copy Su Mingan's speech from that year? To be honest, everyone here doesn't know why we have to fly to the Central Building now. Is Su Mingan in any danger?"
"Get on the plane and stop talking nonsense. I don't know anything about this kind of thing. We are only responsible for following orders." Lu smiled and shook his head, then boarded a helicopter nearby.
Violet and other players boarded other planes as passengers, while the NPC pilots took the driving seat. With one exception, Lu directly boarded the driving seat of a helicopter and put his hands on the operating console.

A cold broadcast voice sounded, and then, similar broadcasts were made from other planes.
In the rainstorm, two direct-view lights flashed like sharp swords, piercing through the rain curtain. Then two, four, eight, sixteen, and so on, lit up, until thirty-six planes took off.
Like a V-shaped flock of geese, one plane leads the way and the rest follow in two columns.
“May human civilization continue to exist.”
“May human civilization continue to exist.”
Various voices rang out from the communication microphones, like surging waves. The voices were mixed with strong accents and dialects, but they expressed a consistent tone and vision.
