Chapter 15, Chapter Fifteen: Little President Pei
Zhao Jian's voice wasn't loud, but it reached everyone's ears.
The smile on Dong Shufan's face froze, and she was too embarrassed to look people in the eye.
Previously, Lu Shangyan mostly didn't understand these kinds of terms, but ever since he browsed the search bar a few times in order to figure out his orientation and positioning, a lot of random new knowledge flooded into his mind.
He was no longer the oblivious Lu Shangyan he once was; he noticed his discomfort at a glance: "Xiao Fu, you've mistaken me for someone else, haven't you?"
Dong Shufan coughed lightly and gave Zhao Jian a smile: "I don't usually come here. This should be our first time meeting, right?"
His words implied that he had mistaken Lu Shangyan for someone else. Zhao Jian saw that Lu Shangyan's shoulder was close to Zhao Jian's shoulder, and they were in an intimate position. Zhao Jian realized that Lu Shangyan was his next target.
Zhao Jian, not going along with his words, jokingly exposed him: "I don't recognize the face, but I recognize 'Little Chili'. Take your pants off and let me see if it's small or not."
Dong Shufan gasped, watching Zhao Jian approach him. He took several steps back and withdrew from Lu Shangyan's side.
Upon seeing this, Zhao Jian immediately stepped forward to prevent this scumbag from continuing to taint Lu Shangyan with his foul odor.
Acting as if nothing had happened, he continued his half-joking remark: "Let me see, let me see! We're all men, what are you shy about!"
"If you don't want to take your pants off on the first floor, how about we go to the second floor? There's a private lounge there, you can take them off and show me."
Upon hearing this, Dong Shufan tensed up, fearing that his pants might be accidentally pulled down.
Lu Shangyan was amused by his antics and said, "Alright, Xiao Fu, you can't bully the guests like this. Shi Yu will scold you again if he finds out."
Zhao Jian shrugged indifferently: "You know, I like it when she's fierce to me."
His eyes were curved, and he looked somewhat expectant.
Lu Shangyan had no choice but to bypass him and go to Dong Shufan: "Don't take it to heart. He's not a bad person, he just likes to say strange things."
Dong Shufan looked at Zhao Jian from two meters away, her smile becoming even more awkward: "It's nothing."
Zhao Jian had his face etched into his mind, planning to go back and complain about this stinky big bad wolf!
Just as Lu Shangyan was about to change the subject, a screeching sound of brakes came from outside.
Looking out through the large glass of the floor-to-ceiling window, Pei Yumin was riding a yellow shared bicycle, his long legs on the ground, desperately trying to pull off the helmet that came with the bike. After finally managing to pull it off and throw it into the basket, he noticed through the glass window that his hair was flattened again. He had no choice but to grit his teeth and frantically rummage around for a few moments before rushing into the house with a dark expression.
His right eyelid started twitching early this morning, and it wasn't twitching for no reason!
He noticed from across the street that someone who shouldn't be there had appeared next to Lu Shangyan again!
A few seconds after entering, Tang Suichen got out of a car by the roadside and strolled in leisurely.
He really didn't come to stalk them. He just happened to be passing by and happened to see the man that Pei Yumin considered a thorn in his side. Then, seeing how close they were, he couldn't help but take a picture and send it to Pei Yumin.
Pei Yumin originally wanted to drive and make a dashing appearance at the door, but the traffic was terrible at this time. His company was only three streets away from Lu Shangyan's workplace, so cycling was faster than driving.
He stared at Lu Shangyan, who was completely bewildered. Lu Shangyan placed the back of his hand on Lu Shangyan's forehead and asked, "You have a fever? Did you secretly go to the vet again?"
Pei Yumin raised his hand and took his hand in hers: "I'm fine, you don't need to worry."
Dong Shufan had never done such an intimate pose with Lu Shangyan before.
Thinking about it this way, he felt much better.
Tang Suichen, a womanizer, got to know Zhao Jian, a playboy, and the two hit it off immediately. Tang Suichen whispered to Zhao Jian, "If I remember correctly, this Mr. Dong is a master of romance, isn't he?"
Zhao Jian nodded: "Yes."
Tang Suichen added, "There seems to be a rumor that he has never lost a single time. Even after someone is dumped, many people still can't forget him. If you're a love rival to someone like that, the probability of losing is very high."
Zhao Jian rubbed his chin: "I've heard about it too."
Tang Suichen leaned her shoulder against him: "It seems like a few days ago someone got dumped and even threatened to kill themselves to force him to get back together. What? Didn't they get back together? So Mr. Dong can go out and look for a new target again. Or is Mr. Dong trying to have his cake and eat it too?"
This time, not only Zhao Jian, but even Pei Yumin nodded righteously, making intriguing sounds, and casting an admiring glance at Tang Suichen.
Dong Shufan was eloquent and persuasive. His gaze shifted between Tang Suichen and Lu Shangyan, finally settling on Zhao Jian, who was the easiest to bully: "You've misunderstood. He and I broke up amicably. What you're saying is probably just something some people who don't know the truth spread afterward." As he spoke, he looked at Lu Shangyan with sincere eyes: "You know, a sentence can be completely distorted when it reaches another person's ears."
He was implying something; he didn't know any of these three people, and their sudden appearance in front of him saying these things was most likely a lie.
Lu Shangyan listened attentively, his face showing deep understanding: "I understand."
He'd had too many things like this happen to him. He sighed and patted Dong Shufan on the shoulder: "So, we really are alike in some ways."
Dong Shufan's smile was no longer stiff, but he said meaningfully, "I didn't expect the rumors to become so outrageous."
Pei Yumin stood there speechlessly, completely stunned, unable to utter a single word for a long time.
Lu Shangyan looked at him: "Don't always be so hostile towards others."
Pei Yumin was so angry he laughed, his teeth itching with rage. Of course, it wasn't because of Lu Shangyan, but because of Dong Shufan's smug look!
Tang Suichen chuckled, mimicking Lu Shangyan's gesture by patting him on the shoulder, his words carrying a hidden meaning: "The road ahead is long and arduous, little President Pei."
Pei Yumin glared back at him, and was just about to forcibly throw this annoying Dong Shufan out when an even more irritating voice sounded behind him.
"It's so lively!"
It was Chen Shuo, who had disappeared for almost half a month, and the girl beside him had changed from Qiqi to someone else.
With such an even more shameless person around, Dong Shufan couldn't help but straighten his back.
When Chen Shuo saw Lu Shangyan, he was like a cat seeing a mouse, wishing he could bite him to death and tear him to pieces: "When did you find so many men, all to help you boost your sales performance? You really have no shame when it comes to money."
Zhao Jian took a big gulp of milk tea: "Stop spouting nonsense! If you keep this up, I'll call security to throw you out."
His appearance united everyone on the same side. Chen Shuo, who was used to being shameless, did not feel uncomfortable. He just felt that this trip was full of challenges.
He patted the girl next to him on the bottom: "Xiao Qian'er, didn't you want to buy clothes? Go ask him to help you pick out a few. Just think of it as me taking pity on him and hoping he can have more sales today."
Lu Shangyan retorted, "I'm only in charge of cashiering. It's none of my business if you buy all the clothes in the store."
It means that Chen Shuo can't disgust him.
Chen Shuo pursed his lips, thought for half a minute, and then blurted out, "Did you get this job by sleeping around?"
Lu Shangyan said, "It was Xia Li who introduced us."

Chen Shuo felt a sharp pain in his calf, bent over and jumped around a few times, finally raising his head triumphantly: "Why are you protecting Lu Shangyan so much? Does his butt taste that good? With so many people coming together, aren't you afraid of getting sick!"
Before he could finish speaking, Pei Yumin grabbed his neck, just like when Lu Shangyan had done it to him. Chen Shuo quickly turned red from the pressure, but he still continued, fearless of death, "As expected of Lu Shangyan's longest-serving sugar daddy, he's so protective of him."
Tang Suichen stepped forward: "Xiao Fu, go and settle the score. Young Master Chen has dirtied so many clothes; he has to take responsibility."
Chen Shuo shouted with difficulty, "I fucking won't buy it!"
Tang Suichen pulled the wallet straight from his pocket and threw it to Zhao Jian. In an instant, his face turned even redder: "Give me back my wallet!"
Zhao Jian swiped all his cards and found they were all blocked! No wonder he blushed; he was ashamed!
Xiaoqian, who was already standing at the door ready to run away at any moment, immediately ran back upon hearing this and kicked him several times with her high heels: "You used to be so eager to take people to hotels whenever you had the chance, but now you just drive around on the street.
