"yes."
When Geng Youran returned to the courtyard, she saw Yinzhen eating candied fruit while reading the book she had placed on the table.
"Your Highness, may you be blessed."
"No need for formalities. I need to go to the palace later. Could you make some food for me to take to Father Emperor?"
"May I ask what Your Highness would like me to cook?"
Yinzhen smiled mysteriously:
"I want you to make some of your mother's favorite snacks."
"?"
Geng Youran was stunned.
Wasn't it supposed to be given to the Emperor? Why is she mentioning her mother again?
However, she didn't ask any questions and turned to go to the small kitchen.
Yinzhen lowered his head and continued reading.

"I don't think I've had these two desserts before."
"Your Majesty, the names of these two desserts are 'Zhu Zixiao Tangbing' and 'Liuniang Gao'. I heard from the Fourth Prince that these were often made by Consort Geng for her mother."
Kangxi picked up a piece of soup dumpling and tasted it. Not bad, it had a chestnut aroma. He then tasted 'Liuniang cake', which initially tasted like red dates, but upon closer tasting, also had a pumpkin aroma.
Kangxi didn't ask any more questions; he could tell Yinzhen's intentions just from the name.
"Liang Jiugong, you should just say what you want to say, Fourth Prince. Why beat around the bush like this? I have to guess."
Liang Jiugong wasn't stupid either, and replied with a smile:
"Your Majesty, the Fourth Prince is a filial son, you should be happy."
Kangxi nodded, then looked down and sighed.
"Go, help the Fourteenth Prince up."
"Yes, sir."
Liang Jiugong waved his hand, and Wei Zhu, who was serving at the door, came in.
"Fourteenth Prince, His Majesty requests that you rise."
"Get down."
Liang Jiugong sighed:
"Fourteenth Prince, His Majesty has already agreed to your request, so please get up."
