Qianxue then called over Xiao Anzi, who was watering the flowerpots in the yard.
"Princess is sleeping in the room. You stay here and keep an eye on things. I'm going to the small kitchen to make some soup for her."
"No problem, go ahead."
When Qianxue left, she gave Xiao Anzi a few pieces of candy and told him to keep a close eye on things.
Upon arriving at the small kitchen, Qianxue first took out some five-finger peach from the cabinet next to her and washed it clean, then soaked it in water for a while.
She had Xiao Anzi prepare the black-boned chicken beforehand, and all the internal organs had been removed.
She put the prepared black-boned chicken into a large pot to blanch it, and prepared ginger slices on the side.
After blanching the black-boned chicken, Qianxue took out a clay pot specially made for her daughter to make soup. She put the cleaned five-finger peach, black-boned chicken, and ginger slices into the clay pot, added a lot of water, and simmered it over low heat.
Then she casually picked up a small stool and stood guard in front of the casserole.
About two hours later, when it was almost noon, Geng Youran finally woke up.
Hearing faint sounds coming from inside, Xiao Anzi went in and asked from the outer room:
"Princess, are you up?"

Geng Youran then sat down, took a sip of soup, and nodded:
"Qianxue, your cooking skills are getting better and better."
"As long as Princess thinks it tastes good, that's fine."
"Alright, stop watching me. You and Xiao Anzi go downstairs and get something to eat first, then come back to clean up later."
Qianxue knew that her princess wasn't just being polite, so she called Xiao Anzi to go to the small kitchen for dinner.
Just as Geng Youran was concentrating on eating a chicken leg, a voice from the doorway made her movements seem to be paused:
"You certainly know how to enjoy yourself."
