"Wanru and I heard that you grew up in Huguang, and we thought that after so long, you must miss the taste of your hometown. Today is the Dragon Boat Festival, so Wanru and I specially made some sweet rice dumplings with red bean paste and jujube paste. Please try them, Consort, and see if they are to your liking."
After speaking, Geng Youran placed the peeled egg on a small plate and handed it to Nian Yunrong. Qingyan then stepped forward and helped her mistress up.
"Thank you for your thoughtfulness, sisters. It has been a long time since I have tasted the zongzi from my hometown."

Nian Yunrong took the sachet from Qingyan's hand. Embroidered on the blue satin was a flowering tree with a cute little figure under it.

Nian Yunrong suddenly raised her head, looking at Geng Youran with tears in her eyes.
“It seems you still remember. This is from last year when we were at the Yuanmingyuan Garden, strolling through the garden with the children. Lingyun was counting petals under a tree. I thought it was cute, so I drew it. A few days ago, I found this drawing and had Wanru embroider it onto a sachet, so it can accompany you in place of Lingyun.”
Nian Yunrong lovingly stroked the little figure on the sachet, repeatedly saying 'thank you' to Geng Youran.
Qingyan bit her lip to keep from crying; she could feel that her master had come back to life.
