It was a dark tunnel cut into the wall of the corpse pit.
Only after going around the corpses of the gods piled up in the front can one discover a gap behind it. Inside, there are flickering colorful lights and bizarre mists. This scene seems so out of place in the black and white scroll covered with the corpses of the gods.
Ying Chengshi didn't dare to go any further after reaching this point, because there was no shadow in front of him for him to hide.
Taking a step forward would mean being exposed to all this colorful light. He asked himself again and again, is this risk worth taking?
Cheng Shi was also struggling. Although he kept telling himself that if there was really any danger, he would have died long ago, he still had to wonder if the source of this inexplicable sound was also a trap like the [Silent] corpses floating in the real universe.
There was nothing wrong at first, but I insisted on taking a look, and then something went wrong.
Even now, fate has gone astray and has not yet completely cooled down. To ensure his own safety, his faith in [Fate] also lies in his main body. This means that if danger arises, Ying Cheng, who is imbued with [Deception], has almost no other choice but to sit and wait for death...
etc!
He can turn into mist!
Cheng Shi suddenly became excited. There was fog in the deep passage ahead, and [Fraud] combined with [Chaos] could blend into the fog. Would this be his only way to break the deadlock?
Cheng Shi pondered for a moment, and indeed, he made Shadow Cheng Shi turn into smoke and merge into the fog, looking inside with an omniscient perspective.
And when he looked up, he saw a scene that he would never forget in his life.
I saw that there was another world at the end of the deep passage. After passing through the passage, there was a huge throne slanted in the space where the colorful mist formed its own world.
The throne seemed like two triangles connected at the tips, fragmented and full of cracks. If you looked closely, you could see that it was not a complete throne broken into pieces, but a terrifying giant chair pieced together from countless miscellaneous corpses of gods.
This is a real "God" seat!
In the gap under the seat, thick and bizarre fog passed through it, rubbing against the throne, making a sound that was both tooth-grinding and frightening.
"The gods...are annihilated, the universe...collapses, this is...[Origin]..."
“!!!”
Cheng Shi was shocked. He thought there was a survivor hiding in there, but he didn't expect that the sound came from the sound of dead things when the fog flowed through the cracks of the throne!
The sound was sometimes loud and sometimes soft, mechanical and repetitive. When it was soft, one could not even hear it close to the throne, and when it was loud, the most one could hear was that the passage was interrupted.
Seeing this, Cheng Shi frowned, guessing that the spatial fluctuation caused by the rapid fall of the three people affected the flow rate of the fog here, so they could hear the wailing of the dead creatures here outside the passage!
But this is certainly not an accident.
Not to mention how this throne was pieced together, the fact that the colorful mist passing through the gaps in the throne can make understandable syllables is absolutely impossible to be a coincidence of falling corpses.
So someone must have deliberately put together this throne and placed it here.
But who could that person be?
Cheng Shi couldn't guess. Instead of guessing who put together this throne, it was obviously more meaningful to observe the present.
With his mind overloaded, Cheng Shi only circled the throne twice before he discovered the clue.
The "corpse fragments" on this throne are made of very complete materials. All the gods' corpses in the corpse pit can be found on the throne with corresponding parts, except for [Fouling] and [Destiny].
There were several hollowed-out areas on the backrest of the throne. Cheng Shi observed it carefully for a moment and deduced from the patterns on the body parts that it should be a "semi-finished product."
These hollow areas should have been filled with some materials, but Cheng Shi searched the entire space and could not find any other pieces of corpses that could be pieced together to form this throne.
He was confused at first, but soon he figured out why.
Because the missing materials are not here.
This is probably the blank space left for [Fall] and [Destiny]!
As luck would have it, it is these hollow parts combined with the gaps between the pieces of the throne that allow the mist to make different sounds when it passes through.
And this colorful mist that permeates the space is none other than the twisted corpse of Chaos...
The corpses of [Chaos] in the outside world are scattered and difficult to identify. Cheng Shi can only find some through the resonance of faith, but here there is a large amount of [Chaos] breath.
Obviously, their ability to gather together is inseparable from the assembly of this throne.
Who created all this?
Cheng Shi listened to the sound repeatedly, trying to figure out its deeper meaning, but he still couldn't grasp it.
He still has too little understanding and knowledge of [Origin].
Time passed quietly, and when Cheng Shi realized that he could no longer find any useful information in this space, he finally decided to retreat.
If you delay any longer, the big cat might go crazy.
But staying there for a long time without getting anything, is it worth the risk?
Thinking of this, Cheng Shi gritted his teeth... and looked at the only "useful" thing in front of him - the throne!
But the throne was too big, and the entire throne could not fit into the portable space. In desperation, Cheng Shi could only try to see if he could disassemble it along the gap and take it away.
It turns out that it does work!
The seemingly solid throne shattered almost at the touch. Cheng Shi took no effort to dismantle the throne into puzzle pieces and put them all into his personal space.
After doing all this, he didn't stay for even a second, and immediately left the area, merged with his original body, then snapped his fingers and returned to the Dolphin Bridge.
