Chapter 509: The Distorted Pointer Knight

"Da Yi!?"

Jiang Chi's face changed drastically, and he was so shocked that his voice became distorted.

What is this believer of [war] doing here?

He is also one of the hunters! ?

Is Cheng Shi a destiny weaver or a master of desire?!

Aren’t all these people brainwashed and controlled by him?

Jiang Chi did not dare to be careless. Seeing the ray of light coming straight towards his head, he gritted his teeth and swung out his sword to meet it.

As the sword tip surged with the power of [Time], it drew a semicircle above his head. In an instant, Dayi, who was almost attacking Jiang Chimen, suddenly froze at the moment when the iron spike was about to hit the target.

Along with him, the surrounding wind and snow also froze.

Space was stopped by [time]!

Jiang Chijian controlled the [War] assassin who was close to him, but he had no intention of counterattacking. He swung the sword in front of him quickly again, and at the same time he retreated quickly, took a few steps back to the high wall, and stood with his back against the wall.

And just as he was retreating, the figure of Ram Horn appeared from a hurricane, also solidified in front of him, and was right at his original position.

Everybody moved!

The Screaming Earl seized the opportunity, but it was obvious that the Pointer Knight's reaction was better. He stopped the opponent's attack in time, but before he could catch his breath, the hunter's arrow came through the wind again.

Jiang Chi swung his long sword like an umbrella, blocking several sharp arrows in front of him, but the arrows kept coming one after another, and the space for him to move was too small, so he could only freeze all the arrows in mid-air again.

The chameleon in the distance frowned after seeing this scene, and immediately changed his position to find the angle, and shot again. And another of the four hunters, Poison, she...

Disappeared.

Just as Jiang Chi was concentrating and searching for her figure without blinking, a soft laugh suddenly came from the thick city wall behind his head.

"Mr. Knight, which is harder, the wall or the persimmon?"

Jiang Chi was startled. He suddenly retracted his sword and struck backwards with the hilt. At the same time, the power of [Time] around him madly condensed to freeze the space of the city wall behind him. Then there was a crisp "bang" sound, and the hilt of the sword hit a solid wall. There was no sign of poison behind him.

It's a falsetto!

Jiang Chi frowned and turned half of his face to glance back, but at the moment he turned his head, a snow-white figure suddenly shot out from behind a snowflake in front of him, dressed in assassin's clothes and approached him without warning, with a smile on her lips and the "Dancing with Me" in her hand flying up and down, and in his shocked eyes, she raised her hand and slashed a gash in the thigh of the Pointer Knight.

The poison was originally targeting the hand in which Jiang Chi held the pocket watch. She observed that the pocket watch might be the source of Jiang Chi's power to freeze time, so she wanted to directly cripple Jiang Chi's left hand.

But although Jiang Chi was shocked, his reaction was not slow at all. The moment the poison appeared, he raised his leg and knee to counterattack. The timing of this attack was perfect, as it was the moment when the poison had no place to gain leverage.

In desperation, the assassin lady could only cut a gash on his thigh nearby.

Blood splattered, penetrating three feet into the flesh. The wound was very deep, and under the pull of desire, Jiang Chi trembled all over.

The assassin struck and left without any delay, but Jiang Chi was not willing to suffer a loss in silence. He raised his hand again and pointed the pocket watch in the direction where the poison left, freezing that space before the poison disappeared.

Even though the assassin had already hidden himself in the wind and snow, and no one could be seen in the stagnant space, the angry Pointer Knight still had a way to inflict some damage on the opponent, and that method was AOE.

Jiang Chi leaped up despite the severe pain, first dodging two rounds of attacks from the chameleon, and then swung his sword like the wind, cutting indiscriminately in the space where the poison disappeared.

Among the several hunters present, the only one he had the strength to fight head-on was Du Yao, who was not known for his combat ability.

And after the other party was charged, he became more confident.

This indiscriminate attack, which looked like a random slash, was very effective, and soon four or five hideous blood marks appeared above the space.

Hot blood flowed out, outlining a curvy figure in the air. The moment he was attacked, the assassin was invisible.

Once an assassin loses his disguise and is pinned to the ground, he can easily face the tragic fate of waiting to die.

Jiang Chi saw that he had found the opponent's position, sneered, and threw the sword in his hand, hitting Du Yao's back!

And just at this moment, Dayi recovered.

The piece of time and space that was originally stagnant was finally broken. The assassin from [War] cursed inwardly, frowned, and rushed towards Jiang Chi. The distance of a few steps was not even enough time for a top assassin with agility to blink.

Dayi keenly seized the opportunity when Jiang Chi threw the sword, and flashed past Du Yao who was about to be hit by the sword, without any intention of lending a hand, and rushed straight towards Jiang Chi with his target locked on.

The iron spike in his hand fluttered like a butterfly, reflecting a strange light in the dim snow and wind. The rays of light were like thin threads that surrounded Jiang Chi and trapped him under the wall. He looked sturdy and strong, but his body was so agile that he could really be called ghostly. He was already close to Jiang Chi in the blink of an eye.

Although Jiang Chi's face was gloomy, he was still not afraid. He did not know when he had pulled out a short blade that was only half the length of the hour hand sword. He gathered all his strength and did not stab at the Da Yi in front of him, but instead chopped at the light that was wrapped around his body.

The thread-like light should have been invisible, but when the sword blade hit it, there was actually a sound of metal clashing and a buzzing sound. However, the force of the blow did not seem to be enough, and it did not cut through the light trap that imprisoned him in place.
