Chapter 835 Theater Actor: Crown

"Oh? Really? It seems my memory is not very good. I forgot it right after I heard it."

Cheng Shi smiled and reached out his hand to straighten the collar, the only part of the worn cotton coat that looked somewhat white, for Crown in front of him. However, Crown's collar was originally straight, but he had twisted it crookedly.

Not only that, but two scalpels accidentally fell out from his left and right sleeves one after another while he was doing it. The tips of the scalpels were stuck in the ground only 1 cm away from Crown's toes, and the crisp sound of breaking ice made Crown's face sweat.

Crown could see that these three weirdos were not easy to deal with.

But he knew how to judge the situation and knew that he could not resist at this moment, so he stood still and let himself be manipulated.

It was not until Cheng Shi dropped a few more scalpels, which scared Clown so much that his legs began to tremble, that Zhang Jizu, who was standing by, sighed and rescued Clown from Cheng Shi's hands.

“We have a more convenient way to confirm your identity, but... considering that you might be the key, we’ll give you a chance.

Repeat my words: I am Zhen Xin.

If you are right, I will let you go."

Clown was so frightened that his whole body was trembling, but he did not drop the flyer in his hand. He looked at Zhang Jizu's eyes, which were narrowed like slits, and repeated in fear:

"I'm Zhen Xin."

Lies, expected lies.

The three of them didn't seem surprised. Cheng Shi glanced at Zhang Jizu and said with a smile, "You seem to have already determined that he is not Zhen Xin?"

Zhang Jizu nodded pragmatically: "She would never hide here if I could think of any place, but we still have to be careful. She arrived a long time earlier than us. Since we didn't see her at the door, it means she must have come in.

only......

I don’t know which theater door I passed through.”

"Lao Zhang, do you think there is another door behind this door?"

Zhang Jizu didn't respond, but just nodded. He really thought so, and even thought that what they wanted was hidden behind the theater door. It's just that before they touched the real door, they didn't know how many doors there were to go through.

Thinking of this, Zhang Jizu decided to release Clown. Clown was out of control at once, fell to the ground with a pale face, climbed up the stairs with his hands and feet, and rushed towards the theater without hesitation.

The three people raised their brows and followed closely. When they saw the young man with the flyer rushing into the door, a strange light flashed on the imposing door, as if triggering some new changes.

"It's really him." Ai Si nodded and wanted to walk inside dragging the giant blade. Just after taking a step, she found that the other two were looking at her expectantly, as if they were waiting for her to try and make mistakes for the team.

Ai Si's face darkened, but she did not refuse. Instead, she snorted coldly and squeezed in through the gap. It seemed that she wanted to gain a slight advantage in this team of three.

After the war supervisor disappeared, Cheng Shi raised his eyebrows and asked meaningfully: "I am curious about where the real war supervisor went. What do you think, Dragon King?"

Zhang Jizu's eyes flashed with a gleam of light, he turned sideways to look at Cheng Shi, and asked, "Are you sure Li Jingming is here too?"

Cheng Shi glanced at Zhang Jiuzu casually, and seeing that he refused to admit it, he snorted, patted him on the shoulder, and walked into the crack of the door one step ahead.

Zhang Jizu looked at his shoulder being patted, shook his head and laughed, then strode after him.

This trial is becoming more and more interesting, a mixture of [fraud] and [memory], lies and truth coexisting, everyone's identity seems fake, but how many of them are fake, perhaps no one can tell for sure.

When Cheng Shi and Zhang Jizu walked through the door, Ai Si had already walked a long way ahead, and the market in front of them had changed, turning into the interior of a small town with intricate paths and roads.

Pedestrians on the road were walking hurriedly, muttering words like "survived". The three people walked on the road and listened for a while, and found that today was the day when the residents of Sandles were grateful that they had survived in this world.

On this day of every month they would hold a gathering to express gratitude for the greatness of life, but in reality it was just a gathering to keep each other warm and provide some comfort for these endless days.

Life was good, and the citizens were genuinely grateful, but there were always some outliers among their sincerity, like...Crown, the theater actor handing out flyers.

The young man did not follow the crowd, but stayed on the steps in the cold wind and continued handing out flyers.

Passersby looked at him with disdain, and no one took the flyer, but Crown was not discouraged at all. He still had a smile on his face and was full of energy.

until......

When he saw the three strange figures approaching again, his face changed and he quickly covered his face and ran towards the theater, as if the theater was the place that made him feel most at ease.

The three men followed him slowly and crossed the third door again.

This time the scene changed again. The wind and snow were stronger, there were fewer pedestrians, and the whole town seemed to have entered "winter".

But even under such harsh conditions, Crown was still handing out flyers at the theater entrance.

This time, the three of them did not walk directly to the opposite side of Crown. Instead, at Cheng Shi's signal, they changed their way and put on bulky cotton coats, and then quietly passed by the theater entrance as locals.

When the three approached, Crown was handing out flyers to a bearded man. The bearded man took the flyer, glanced at it casually, and sighed:

"Little Crown, are you still trying to recruit an audience for your dull comedy?

Give up, no one will like your performance, why not come to my shop and help me out, the salary is much more than the two silver coins you beg for standing at the door, how about it? "
