Chapter 4: The grandfather is vicious, knocking out his own grandson.

Chapter 4: The grandfather is vicious, knocking out his own grandson.

Lin Wentao was facing the direction where Old Man Lin was sitting, and when he saw the stool being thrown at his father, his eyes widened in disbelief.

Seeing that the stool that Old Man Lin threw was about to hit Lin Dayou on the head, Lin Wentao immediately pushed away the old lady Lin who was in the way.

When Old Mrs. Lin saw that Lin Wentao dared to push her away, a sinister glint flashed in her eyes. She quickly made her move and grabbed Lin Wentao with her thin, bony claws.

"You little bastard, how dare you push me!" After saying that, she used her thin, bony hands covered with age spots to pinch Lin Wentao hard.

"Daddy, watch out!" Lin Wenqian saw his younger brother's sudden movement, looked up and saw the flying stool, and shouted in a panic.

I never expected that my grandparents would not only favor my uncle's family, but also dare to be so cruel to my father.

Lin Daguang, facing upwards, also saw the approaching stool. He viciously grabbed Lin Dayou, who was trying to dodge, giving him no chance to escape.

Lin Wentao no longer cared about respecting the elderly and caring for the young, nor did he care about the pain in his body. He pushed away the old lady Lin who was still hurting him and rushed over in one stride.

With her small body, she hugged Lin Dayou and held up the stool that the old man Lin threw at her with all his might.

The stool slammed hard into the back of Lin Wentao's head with a loud "thud," so loud that even the villagers watching the commotion outside the courtyard were startled.

Lin Wentao was severely injured, and he spat a mouthful of blood directly onto Lin Daguang's face, which was facing upwards.

Lin Daguang was so frightened by Lin Wentao's mouthful of blood that he loosened his grip, and Lin Dayou was no longer restrained.

Lin Dayou hurriedly turned around, looked at his youngest son Lin Wentao who was vomiting blood and whose body was beginning to go limp, and cried out with red eyes, "Tao'er!"

At this moment, Lin Dayou's mind went blank, his vision blurred, and he had no idea what to do.

Seeing that Lin Dayou was alright, he even smiled at him. The little guy fell down, but Lin Dayou, who had been watching him closely, caught him.

Lin Dayou took Lin Wentao from Lin Wentao. The moment his hand touched Lin Wentao, he felt something sticky and warm. Lin Dayou's heart skipped a beat, and his mind went blank.

After being knocked to the ground by Lin Wentao, Old Lady Lin immediately unleashed her tantrum-throwing skills.

Using Lin Wentao's strength, he fell to the ground, slapping his thigh and wailing loudly, "What a tragedy! It's bad enough that the second son's family doesn't support us two old people, but today they even brought their son to bully us."

Lin Wenqian naturally saw Lin Wentao covered in blood, lying in Lin Dayou's arms, and roared with bloodshot eyes, "Grandma, you have to have a conscience!"

"It was you who stole my younger sister's marriage from Luo Dan, and now you're ganging up with my uncle to bully our family."

"My second brother was beaten by Grandpa and his life is still unknown. How can you still be here distorting the truth and bullying people like this?"

After saying this, Lin Wenqian didn't care how the people in the main room reacted, and immediately knelt down to the crowd watching the commotion outside the courtyard.

The pitiful girl pleaded pitifully, "Uncles, aunts, and uncles, please be the judge! It was clearly my grandparents and my uncle's family who did such a terrible thing!"

"Now they're trying to turn the tables on us, clearly trying to drive us to our deaths!"

As soon as Lin Wenqian finished speaking, the onlookers outside the courtyard immediately started pointing and whispering about Old Man Lin and Old Lady Lin.

"Old Mrs. Lin and Old Mr. Lin are so biased. They kicked Lin Dayou's family out of the house with nothing, and then they stole their daughter's marriage."

"Now, the two elders have even beaten the second wife's youngest son to such an extent, aren't they afraid of divine retribution?"

"Is this something a human would do? It's worse than pigs and dogs. We should stay away from such heartless people in the future."

"They're shameless! How could this family do something so vicious?"

Those with sharp eyes also noticed that Lin Wentao was lying motionless in Lin Dayou's arms and kindly reminded him, "Wenqian, I see your second brother isn't moving. You should quickly tell your father to take your second brother to see the doctor."

The others kept criticizing Old Man Lin, and some even said that Lin Luodan was a vixen who stole her sister's marriage!

Old Man Lin, who had been so arrogant, realized how frightening it was when he saw Lin Wentao's face covered in blood.

Hearing the commotion outside, he stiffened his neck and roared, "This is our family matter, what's it to you? Get the hell out of here..."

Did Lin Wenqian hear that kind reminder from the crowd? He immediately ran to Lin Dayou.

Seeing that Lin Wentao's head was still bleeding profusely, she turned pale with fright. But now he was the eldest son in the family, and if he didn't pull himself together, the family would probably be in chaos.

With snot and tears streaming down her face, she pushed Lin Dayou, "Father, what are you standing there for? If you delay any longer, my second brother will die..."

Seeing that Lin Dayou did not react, he anxiously tried to snatch Lin Wentao from Lin Dayou's arms.

When Lin Dayou saw someone coming to snatch his son, he instantly came to his senses. It turned out that none of this was a dream; his son had really been beaten unconscious by his father.

"You just wait!" With bloodshot eyes, she glared at Old Man Lin and Lin Daguang before staggering out the door, carrying Lin Wentao with her.

When the onlookers saw Lin Dayou carrying Lin Wentao, whose face was covered in blood and whose complexion was pale to bluish-purple, they automatically made way for him.

Kind-hearted people also ran after them, and even asked Lin Dayou to carry Lin Wentao back, saying they would help him get a doctor from the county.

Lin Wentao's current condition is completely unsuitable for bumpy rides.

As Lin Wenqian left the main house of the Lin family, he clenched his fists, his eyes fixed on the three people standing in the main room as if they were dead, before turning around and following them.

When Old Mrs. Lin saw the look in Lin Wenqian's eyes, she couldn't help but shudder.

Then, realizing what was happening, he pointed at Lin Wenqian's back and cursed, "You bastard, how dare you look at us like that? Aren't you afraid of being struck by lightning?"

The onlookers who hadn't dispersed yet, upon hearing Old Lady Lin's shameless words, retorted, "If God were to punish those despicable people you've done, He would surely punish those with no conscience first."

"Yes! Beating a child half to death, is that something a family member would do? Old Mrs. Lin, I really want to ask, is Lin Dayou really your child?"

Hearing the man's words, Old Madam Lin's eyes flashed, and she immediately retorted viciously, "You damned bastards who didn't close your eyes when you gave birth to sons, what are you spouting nonsense about? Aren't you afraid that heaven will punish you..."

If Old Mrs. Lin hadn't cursed like that, things would have been better. But as soon as she opened her mouth, it was like stirring up a hornet's nest. She was immediately rebuked by the other old ladies who had always been at odds with her.

"You think you're some kind of heavenly king, doing such heinous things. If anyone's going to be punished, it'll be you black-hearted bastards who get punished first."

When it comes to arguing, rural elderly women, though they often lose, launch into a series of insults that never repeat themselves.

"..."

When Old Man Lin heard that the onlookers dared to curse their Lin family, he glared at them with a venomous look, as if trying to intimidate them.

Seeing that Old Mrs. Lin still wanted to say something, he instructed, "Hurry up and close the door, so those mad dogs won't bark everywhere..."

The onlookers weren't afraid of Old Man Lin's gaze. Hearing his words, they retorted without hesitation, "That's right, close the door quickly, or we'll beat the dog by closing the door."
