The weather was indeed good the next day, with the sun shining on the shimmering sea. Jiang Feng and his party sat on the Flowing Light Treasure Ship, which emitted a soft halo and slowly sailed forward.
The sea breeze gently caressed everyone's faces, bringing a touch of coolness. Jiang Feng stood at the bow, gazing into the distance, his eyes revealing determination and anticipation. His companions sat or stood beside him, each enjoying this pleasant moment.
Suddenly, a black mist rose from the distant sea surface and quickly spread toward the treasure ship. The crew members immediately became nervous and gripped their weapons tightly. Jiang Feng, however, remained calm and raised his hand to signal everyone to remain calm. As the black mist drew closer, a strange red light could be seen flickering within it.
Just as the black fog threatened to envelop the treasure ship, Jiang Feng formed hand seals and muttered something. A golden light shot out from his palms, hurtling directly towards the black fog. Wherever the golden light reached, the black fog dissipated as quickly as ice and snow meeting the blazing sun, revealing a bizarre-looking sea beast within. Jiang Feng's figure flashed, and a fierce battle was about to begin.
But before Jiang Feng could make a move, a massive magical gemstone appeared in the sky. This magical gemstone resembled a small mountain, radiating a deep, deep blue light. Runes densely covered it, each one a reflection of ancient stars, mysterious and powerful. A faint spiritual mist swirled across the surface of the stone, swirling like a veil, making the runes appear even more dreamlike. It turned out to be an immortal artifact!
These runes weren't static; rather, like nimble little fish, they darted across the stone tablet, occasionally flashing dazzling flashes of light. Tiny bolts of lightning swirled and danced around the magical stone tablet, crackling and pulsing like its guardians. The stone tablet contained boundless spiritual energy, crushing it with a vast and overwhelming force. The strange-looking sea beast was instantly pinned to the ground, trembling with fear. Jiang Feng and the others watched with amazement, curious about the origins of Elder Tianji's magical stone tablet.
A moment later, the starlight on the stone tablet became brighter, and it sucked the sea beast into it at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Elder Tianji took out a water bead and said, "This is the beast pill of the sea monster. After you refine it, you can avoid water and breathe freely in the water. When we reach Jiulong City in a few days, it will be inconvenient for me to be with you. Please act normally. If there is any danger, I will show up!"
A few days later, Jiang Feng and Fatty Qiu arrived in Kowloon City. After asking, they learned that the teleportation array was temporarily unavailable.
As night fell, the once bustling streets were now deserted. A dark figure entered Tianbao Pavilion, and then Zhang Zhen of Tianbao Pavilion closed the door!
A moment later, the three of them sat together in the backyard of Tianbao Chamber of Commerce.
Wang Qingshan spoke first, "Xiao Feng, you really surprised me. You shined so brightly in the sect competition!"
Zhang Zhen also laughed and said, "Yeah, who would have thought that the young man back then would have achieved such success now!"
Jiang Feng said embarrassedly, "Thank you for your kind words, Seniors. I came here today for two reasons. First, I want to sell some treasures and then buy some spiritual herbs, especially the ingredients for the Soul Pill. Second, why is the teleportation array closed?"
Wang Qingshan was shocked when he heard this: "Xiao Feng, your family elders want to refine the Soul Pill? We do have the materials, and we will ask Zhang Zhen to prepare it for you later. When you refine it, remember to leave two for me! This teleportation array was ordered by the Imperial City. Not only Kowloon City, but other cities have also been closed."
"What? It's actually an order from the Imperial City!"
Wang Qingshan said solemnly, "That's exactly what I've learned. Kyushu's most feared assassination organization has already dispatched several groups of troops, all with a single goal—to kill you. This shows you've probably been provoking some tough opponents!"
Hearing this, Jiang Feng frowned slightly and fell into deep thought. He knew very well that the mysterious Ghost Organization hadn't given up after their previous defeat and was still pursuing him. Since they wouldn't give up, he couldn't just sit there and wait for death. He had to teach these guys a lesson! Thinking of this, a fierce look flashed in Jiang Feng's eyes.
It wasn't long before Jiang Feng began to take action. He rushed around, expending considerable time and energy, finally acquiring a batch of precious cultivation resources and various rare materials needed to refine the Soul Pill. Once everything was ready, Jiang Feng didn't even have time to exchange pleasantries with the others before hurriedly turning away.
Looking at Jiang Feng's receding figure, Wang Qingshan couldn't help but shake his head and sighed, "Alas... It seems that the Jiuzhou Continent is about to face an unprecedented storm. I'm afraid the situation will become turbulent!"
After leaving the others, Jiang Feng galloped along, quickly reuniting with Fatty Qiu. Without further delay, the two raced out of the city and boarded a magical flying vessel called the Flowing Light Treasure Ship. This vessel, ornate in appearance, shimmering with dazzling light, was clearly no ordinary craft. However, despite its immense speed, the distance it had to cover was far too great. Throughout the journey, Jiang Feng remained apprehensive, worried about Sanniang's safety. Consequently, he dared not rest for a moment, continuing his journey day and night.
Just like that, after more than a month of arduous journey, Jiang Feng and Fatty Qiu finally arrived at the territory of Batianmen. Jiang Feng was already exhausted, but the thought of seeing Sanniang and ensuring her safety instantly dissipated all his tiredness.
