Yi Yami and Gu Beijian returned to this dark area again.
"Okay, we have passed three levels now, and there are still ten levels to go!" Gu Beijian said casually.
"You are really optimistic." Yi Yami looked at him and spoke.
"It's not optimistic. What can we do?" Gu Beijian looked into her eyes.
"We can't give up just because there are so many difficulties, right? We can't give up just because there are so many obstacles ahead, right? We have worked so hard to get here, wouldn't it be a pity if we give up now?" Gu Beijian said with a smile.
Yiyami looked at his high-spirited appearance and smiled, "You are worthy of being the man I like. Yes, that's it. I'm sorry to have caused you trouble along the way." Yiyami felt a little apologetic.
"It's okay. I know you have this kind of personality and this kind of person. If you remain indifferent, I will doubt whether the person I like has any heart at all. You don't need to apologize to me. When two people are together, aren't they supposed to support and help each other? Besides, you didn't blame me for being too rational, did you?" Gu Beijian said with a smile.
Just as Yi Yami was about to say something, she saw a purple door spiraling towards them.
Yi Yami and Gu Beijian looked at each other, held hands, and pushed away together.
The picture shows a famous Taoist temple, where many people come to burn incense and kneel down to worship.
Some pray for marriage, some pray for fame, some pray for children, some pray for longevity, some pray for health, and some pray for sudden wealth.
"Master, although I don't know your name, please bless me to find a husband of my dreams!" A woman knelt on a cushion with her hands clasped together.
Yi Yami heard and saw what happened, and nudged Gu Beijian with her elbow. "This person doesn't know who he is worshipping, nor does he know which real person he is praying to. Moreover, he is praying in the wrong posture. This is a Taoist temple, not a Buddhist temple."
Gu Beijian took a look and nodded slightly.
"Oh, I'm used to it." An old man in a Taoist robe said leaning against the door.
Yi Yami was startled and tried to wave in front of the old man.
"Oh, don't try to test me. I knew you two existed the moment you two came in." The old man said helplessly.
Gu Beijian actually looked up to the old man.
"Master, we are trying to break through the barrier. We don't know why we came here, but please don't stop us. Thank you!" Yiyami bowed.
"As long as you don't do anything bad, we won't stop you. You two are quite interesting." The old man spoke lazily and suddenly glanced at the two of them.
The old man counted on his fingers and raised the corner of his mouth, "Go find it yourself, and you'll pass if you find it."
Just as Yi Yami was about to ask, the old man disappeared.
Gu Beijian shrugged, "A hermit master."
"Well, let's find out how to pass this level!" Yiyami was full of confidence this time. Perhaps it was the excitement of the previous level that made Yiyami feel that he could not always empathize with others and could not always pass the levels so slowly.
Seeing her enthusiasm, Gu Beijian knew that the previous level had given her a great stimulation, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.
Yi Yami felt that since he had entered here, it meant that this level was either related to the believers or to the people and things in the Taoist temple.
Two people entered the Taoist temple, one in front and one behind.
A woman, accompanied by a man, asked a Taoist priest with a white beard, "Master, why is my life so miserable?"
The Taoist priest with a white beard looked at her, listened patiently, and asked, "Why do you feel that your life is miserable?"
"When I was born, my family was poor, so my mother sold me for a liter of rice. I was sold to that family as a child bride, and finally I had my own daughter. But the husband was short-lived and died when the child was still a child. As a woman, I couldn't take care of the child, so I had to remarry with the child. The man I remarried gave birth to a son, but the son died before he grew up. I didn't remarry this time, and I raised the child well. But who would have thought that after my son finally grew up, when it was harvest time, he committed suicide. He put coal in the house and didn't open the window, and he died like that. I was left an old widow, and I don't understand why. Why must my life be so miserable?" The woman shed tears as she spoke.
Yi Yami and Gu Beijian looked at each other and sighed.
A purple light suddenly flashed, flashing Yiyami's eyes.
"It's her!" Yiyami said excitedly.
Gu Beijian didn't catch that beam of light, but Yi Yami said yes, so that's it.
The Taoist priest with white beard was about to speak, but his ears moved, as if he heard something, so he introduced the old woman to Yi Yami and Gu Beijian. "Ask these two about this question. They may be able to untie your knot."
Yi Yami and Gu Beijian were originally watching the show, but when they were suddenly pointed at, they both became serious in an instant.
The old woman looked in the direction the Taoist priest pointed, and saw that there seemed to be no one there, so she blinked.
The old Taoist priest with a white beard reached out and touched her eyelids. "Alright, you ask them. I have something else to do. I'll leave first."
The old Taoist priest walked away.
"Hey hey hey, Taoist priest!" Yiyami was a little anxious.
When the old woman opened her eyes again, she could see Yi Yami and Gu Beijian.
"Girl, why do you say that?" The old woman reached out and held Yiyami's hand.
Gu Beijian was standing aside, not knowing what to say, so he glanced at Yi Yami.
Yi Yami's eyes rolled, "Grandma, please come with us and sit over there. We'll talk slowly."
