Chapter 74 Happy Birthday

People are in high spirits when good things happen. Yi Yami is more and more concerned about the business in the store. She also has to take care of Shandandan Village. The seeds that were previously moved to the small world have now grown into big seedlings and are planted on the mountain.

He Heihu looked at the green leaves and saplings full of green fruits that Yi Yami had sent him and asked, "Xiaomi, what are these?"

"Uncle, these are blueberry seedlings. You see, although these fruits are still green now, they will turn blue when they are ripe." Yi Yami explained with a smile.

"Blue fruit, isn't that poisonous?" He Heihu asked based on his experience.

"Uncle, this fruit is not poisonous. This blueberry can protect the eyes, enhance vision, improve memory, slow down aging, and is also very friendly to the heart and can play a protective role." Yiyami explained patiently.

"Wow, that's so good!" He Heihu was moved when he heard it.

"But others don't know, and we won't be able to sell the fruits when they are ripe..." He Heihu said worriedly.

"Don't worry, uncle. I have plenty of ways to sell anything you grow." Yiyami comforted him.

"Hahahahaha, okay, I believe you. Xiaomi, how do you want to plant these seedlings? I'll call someone to help." He Heihu said as he looked at the nearly 1,500 blueberry seedlings.

"Uncle, these blueberry seedlings are quite precious. In winter, we must find some cloth that can keep them warm and cover them. Too low a temperature will affect their growth," Yiyami explained.

"This seedling needs to meet the requirements of both air humidity and sunlight exposure," Yiyami continued.

He Heihu only understood half of what he was saying. "Okay, I think I understand. I'll ask you again if I don't understand."

In accordance with Yi Yami's request, He Heihu had the blueberry seedlings planted on the hillside where there was sufficient sunlight and moisture.

"Uncle, there is another batch of citrus saplings. I will have someone deliver them to you tomorrow." Yiyami said.

"What else?" He Heihu was surprised.

"Well, let's deal with these three first. You won't be able to take care of too many." Yi Yami nodded.

"By the way, uncle, I told you that you don't need to remove too many of the Rhododendron sabdariffa flowers. You can still keep most of them. They are also useful and can be sold later." Yi Yami reminded.

"I know, I know. I remember it and I'll do it." He Heihu said with a smile.

After Yi Yami finished explaining, he got on his family's newly bought carriage and returned to town. The driver was Qian Fugui.

When they met Uncle Ma on the road who was seeing off a guest, Qian Fugui asked Yi Yami if she wanted to stop and say hello, but Uncle Ma had already spoken first.

"Xiaomi, are you back from Shandandan Village?" Uncle Ma greeted them warmly.

Yi Yami stuck her head out of the carriage and spoke to him, "Yes, Uncle Ma, are you seeing the guests off?"

"Yes, I have rarely seen you since your family bought a horse-drawn carriage. But thanks to you, there are now a steady stream of people coming to Luguang Town. My ox-drawn cart has also been rebuilt as you requested, and it can accommodate more guests. I won't talk to you for now, I want to send these guests to Qingmiao Village." Uncle Ma said.

"Okay, take your time. Come to our restaurant when you have time and I'll treat you to a meal." Yiyami responded with a smile.

"Okay, see you later." Uncle Ma waved his whip and the ox cart moved forward.

It was already afternoon when Yi Yami returned to the shop.

Everyone seemed to be acting mysteriously. Seeing that nothing was wrong, Yi Yami didn't take it to heart and went to the backyard to tinker with something.

"Xiaomi, stop busying yourself and come and eat noodles." Old Mrs. Yi came out with a bowl of noodles.

Yi Yami took a look and smelled the fragrance, "It smells so good, grandma!"

"Of course, the eggs grandma fried for you with lard are naturally delicious!" Old Mrs. Yi put the bowl on the table.

"That's great, I'm hungry too." Yiyami sat down and started eating noodles.

"Eat the first mouthful of noodles in one go," Mrs. Yi reminded.

"Okay." Yi Yami obediently finished eating in one breath.

"That's right, my dear grandson, you will live a long life!" said Mrs. Yi with a smile.

"Hehehe, thanks for the good words, grandma." Yiyami smiled with curved eyebrows, not realizing anything yet.

All I heard was a burst of firecrackers outside.

Yi Yami was puzzled. Why were firecrackers being set off at this time?

"Grandma, whose family is having a happy event?" Yiyami asked in confusion.

"My home." Old Mrs. Yi smiled at the confused Yi Yami.

Yi Yami was happy, "What's the happy event in my family?"

"Today is your birthday, have you forgotten?" Old Mrs. Yi looked at her lovingly.

"Today is the 29th day of the seventh lunar month. Time flies so fast..." Yiyami sighed. It was magical that the Yiyami here had the same birthday as her. She was so busy that she had forgotten about it.

Everyone waited until the customers in the store finished their meals, then started to pack up and close the store.

"No, why is the store closing so early today?" asked a customer who wanted to come in for a meal.

"Oh, sir, I'm so sorry. Today is my boss's birthday, so we plan to celebrate it early. So we'll finish work early. Can you come again tomorrow?" Qian Duoduo greeted him with a smile.

"That's fine. I'll come back tomorrow and tell your boss to wish him a happy birthday." The customer was very generous and left with a wave of his hand.

"Okay, sir, please take your time." Qian Duoduo immediately closed the shop door.

Yi Yami was surrounded by the crowd and sat down at a large table made up of several tables.

The table was filled with dishes.
