Upon hearing this, Xu Heming blushed. It was his fault for failing to raise his son properly; otherwise, how could he have done such a thing?
“Young lady, it is my fault for failing to raise my son properly and causing you trouble. Perhaps I should send someone to escort you home,” Xu Heming said apologetically to Li Zhiwei.
“Father, you can’t be so heartless, can you? You’re going to send her back to the Marquis of Ru’an’s residence to suffer those scornful looks? Father, you’re not helping this sister, you’re harming her.” Xu Qingshi stepped forward and said with a face full of dissatisfaction.
"Go away, what nonsense are you spouting as a child?" Xu Heming was speechless, but because Li Zhiwei was there, he couldn't scold him too much.
