Chapter Sixty
"Madam Luo, what brings you here in person?" Upon seeing the visitor, Master Feng quickly changed his demeanor.
"My son has been beaten up, how could I not come? Where is my son? How badly is he hurt?" Mrs. Luo looked anxiously into the classroom.
"Mother, you've finally come! If you hadn't come, I would have been beaten to death." As soon as he finished speaking, a chubby little boy came out of the house.
The boy only had a small bruise on his face.
Moreover, that child was a head taller than the eldest, Jiang Yu.
Was he beaten to death?
Li Zhiwei also felt that she had really learned a lot today, even if it was just a small fry.
"Who? Who on earth dares to hit my son?" Upon hearing this, Madam Luo was displeased, and seeing the injuries on her son's face, she felt even more heartbroken.
"Master Feng, I sent my son to your academy, and this is how you teach children? My son is injured like this, today you have to give me an explanation!" Madam Luo angrily pointed at Master Feng and questioned him.
"What you say is true, Madam. It was all my fault for not watching over him properly. I will definitely not let the young master get hurt next time." Master Feng changed his attitude completely from when he spoke to Li Zhiwei, and bowed and apologized to Madam Luo.
Li Zhiwei was also amazed. She realized that people could be so different.
However, Li Zhiwei wasn't stupid; she knew that the teacher was trying to intimidate her.
Could it be that this lady has an extraordinary background?
Is he even more powerful than Prince An?
"Who is this person?" Li Zhiwei asked the three children, puzzled.
"I don't know him," Xu Qingshi said without hesitation.
"Never seen her before, probably not someone important." Xie Yanzhi knew the noblewomen of the capital very well.
He had never seen this person before, so she was probably not one of those noble ladies from the capital.
“I don’t know him either, but this fat guy… I feel like I’ve seen him somewhere before.” Jiang Yu couldn’t recall where he had seen Luo Jing’an before.
"If she uses her status to intimidate us, can we fight back?" Li Zhiwei asked uncertainly.
If the other party has a more powerful background than Prince An, then doing this might backfire.
“Stepmother, go ahead and push her back. I refuse to believe that with the power of our three families, we are no match for this ugly woman,” Xu Qingshi said arrogantly, arms crossed.
"Where are your family members?" Li Zhiwei nodded, then looked at Jiang Yu and Xie Yanzhi beside her, somewhat puzzled. She had been notified to come, so surely their family members would come too?
"My father went to the estate with my mother today and won't be back until tomorrow," Jiang Yu said with a dissatisfaction.
He suspected that the reason he was sent to this dilapidated academy was because his father thought he was in the way.
"They probably won't be able to find my house," Xie Yanzhi said after thinking for a moment.
"Alright, now that I'm here, I'll definitely stand up for you," Li Zhiwei said, patting the three children on the shoulder.
"Thank you, stepmother!"
