Chapter 1829 Complaint

After receiving the New Year's Day banquet, Batu Buhe changed into a Mongolian prince's everyday robes and was taken to the Court of Colonial Affairs by Huricha. Yinzhen and Qingyan stayed with the children at the Qingyan Banquet Hall in Jiuzhou to celebrate the New Year.

"Father, do you think Batu Buhe can handle it?" Yiken'e had always treated Batu Buhe like a younger brother, and seeing Batu Buhe go out on his own, he was somewhat worried.

"Yes!" Yinzhen nodded. Batu Buhe was not someone to be trifled with, and Huricha was even more capable of protecting him.

The twins chatted and laughed with Yinzhen and Qingyan. Near midnight, Yinzhen took Hutulifengshengzhalafen to the garden to set off fireworks. Qingyan stood in the corridor, watching the father and daughter's laughing figures in the distance, feeling extremely emotional.

"Little darling, what are you doing here?" After playing with his daughter for a while, Yinzhen carried her back to the bedroom, who was yawning.

As I came out of the twins' bedroom, I saw Qingyan standing in the corridor, staring blankly at the spot where the father and daughter had been playing.

"Sisi, how long do you think we can take care of Hutuli Fengsheng Zhalafen?" Qingyan didn't want to hear her daughter say that she was getting married, but it was the truth.

They had very little time to take good care of their daughter, and if any unruly boys came along, Yinzhen would definitely be unhappy.

"Little darling, don't overthink it." Yinzhen put his arm around Qingyan and they went back to rest together.

On the morning of the second day of the Lunar New Year, Yinzhen and Qingyan got up early. Batu Buhe walked in from outside, wearing a prince's everyday clothes similar to those of Yiken'e, and followed Hutu Lifengsheng Zhalafen.

"Father, I'm back!" Batu Buhe knew that today would be the day for the Qingyan homecoming banquet, so he returned early.

Batubuhe stayed at the Court of Colonial Affairs yesterday and didn't sleep well all night. The Mongol princes in the Court of Colonial Affairs all came to talk to him, and some of them even secretly inquired about what was happening in the Fourth Prince's residence.

In the carriage, Yinzhen was holding Hafeng, while Qingyan was preparing baby food. The little guy saw his food and clapped his hands, shouting happily.

"Little darling, don't you think Batu Buhe is back? Although he's hiding it well, there's a hint of sadness in his eyes." Yinzhen believed that Batu Buhe must not have slept well last night.

"Master, should we ask him?" Qingyan felt that if Batu Buhe had really been framed, they should all step in to help.

Yinzhen believed that if Batu Buhe asked for help, they could still intervene.

"Let's wait for Batubuhe to come for help. Huricha won't just stand by and watch Batubuhe be bullied." Yinzhen patted Qingyan's hand to reassure her.

Qingyan pursed her lips and said, "You've made all the arrangements, I just need to offer some encouragement from the sidelines."

Later, the carriage stopped at the second courtyard of Ulanara's new residence. Yinzhen helped Qingyan out of the carriage, and Batu Buhe's tense face completely relaxed.

Batubuhe felt he hadn't rested well at all after spending a night at the Court of Colonial Affairs.

"Batubuhe." Qingyan noticed the little guy's tired face and planned to let him rest in his courtyard later. "Take advantage of the time before lunch to rest in the side hall. Did you not sleep well last night?"

Qingyan spoke softly, and Batubuhe leaned close to her, his eyes sparkling with happiness as he listened to her words.

"I'll have the head nanny take you there. Yiken'e and Hutulifengsheng Zhalafen will both go to rest." Qingyan knew Batubuhe's temperament; if he weren't tired, he definitely wouldn't have said these things.

As soon as the group entered the main hall, Qingyan said that the children had kept watch all night yesterday and had arrived too early today.

Fei Yanggu and Jue Luo Shi didn't care and quickly told the head nanny to take the three children to rest. Hu Richa stayed in the hall, preparing to personally come and ask for help for Batu Buhe.

In his heart, Batubuhe had already become his master. There were some things that didn't need his master's personal attention; the servants should take care of them.

"Fourth Master, Lord Ulanara, this servant has something to ask of you. My master went to the Court of Colonial Affairs yesterday to keep watch, and the Right Prince made some unreasonable demands." Huricha was very annoyed. Those people's words clearly indicated that they hoped Batu Buhe could rely on Yinzhen to gain more benefits for the Mongol tribes.

Yinzhen raised an eyebrow, but didn't say a word, hoping Hu Richa would just say it directly.

Jue Luo and Qing Yan exchanged a glance. The mother and daughter understood the leaders' meaning. Whenever Mongolian women attended a banquet, they would always make sure to bring their own female relatives.

After Qingyan secured her position as the Fourth Prince's Consort, many Mongolian noblewomen returned to the capital and would find various excuses to approach Lady Gioro, hoping that Qingyan could offer them some assistance.

"What requests did you make?" Yinzhen glanced at Qingyan, then turned to ask Hu Richa.

Qing Yanxin understood a little better: the Mongol leaders hoped that Batu Buhe would say a few more kind words, hoping that the Mongol tribes would prosper even more.

"We hope to say some good things to His Majesty and Fourth Prince, so that at least the people in the tribe can recover from their shock," Hu Richa said directly.

Yinzhen's eyes flashed with impatience. These Mongol leaders had even schemed against Batu Buhe, who was of a similar rank. To outsiders, Batu Buhe was still just a child.

"Was it proposed by the Right Wing Prince?" Fei Yanggu asked directly.

Huricha nodded. The Right Wing Prince, having united many leaders from his tribe, spoke in a condescending manner, as if he were merely informing Batubhe.

"You can go now, I'll make the arrangements." Yinzhen agreed, at the very least, he would help Batu Buhe.

When Hu Richa heard Yinzhen's promise, the huge weight that had been hanging over his heart was finally lifted.

Once only his own family members were inside the hall, Fei Yanggu looked at Yinzhen, hoping he could offer an explanation.

“Father-in-law, Batubuhe is being raised by me now. If the Mongol leaders deal with him, what will I think if I don’t step in?” Yinzhen pointed towards the roof.

Fei Yanggu became suspicious, while Yinzhen seemed to have a plan in mind.

"Fourth Prince, have you already made up your mind?" Fei Yanggu asked, looking at Yinzhen.

A glint of shrewdness flashed in his eyes. Qingyan held his teacup, waiting for Yinzhen to give instructions.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" Fei Yanggu asked, looking at Yinzhen.

Yinzhen briefly explained his thoughts: it would be excellent if people could be placed among the Mongol leaders to gather more information from them.

“The number of people we can plant is limited, and they must come from Mongolian tribes; otherwise, they won’t be able to get close to the core.” Fei Yanggu knew a bit about the Mongolian leaders; these people would never budge without a benefit in mind.

Yinzhen frowned, pondering who would be the most suitable person.
