Chapter 190 Strolling Through the Night Market

"Okay, we'll take the rabbit one!" Yin patted Qingyan's little head, took her little hand, and walked towards the lantern stall.

One by one, lit lanterns appeared before her. Besides the jade rabbit lantern, there was also a lotus lantern, which looked quite nice. Her little face couldn't help but show some anticipation.

"One jade rabbit and one lotus lantern, please!" Yin said directly, following the little guy's gaze.

The stall owner, seeing Yin's attire, didn't even ask the price and directly ordered two cups.

"Young master, I'm giving you a lion dog-shaped item from the inn as a gift!" The stall owner was very happy, as these two were the most expensive items.

His stall hadn't been open for two or three days, but when it finally opened, it brought in a tael of silver.

"Sulan, give me five taels of silver, and consider the rest a reward." Yin looked at Qingyan's smiling face and was quite pleased. He quickly told Sulan to settle the silver.

Su Peisheng was a eunuch, and anyone with eyes could see that something was wrong. In order to avoid being discovered, Yin simply ordered Sulan to settle the bill.

When Su Peisheng got off the carriage, he handed the purse containing his silver to Su Lan.

"Yes!" Su Lan quickly took out five taels of silver and handed it to the stall owner.

Yin watched as Qingyan carried the jade rabbit lantern and followed him away. The remaining two lanterns were extinguished and handed over to the guards behind.

As they walked forward, more and more people appeared. Su Peisheng quickly led his guards to surround Yin. Qingyan looked at the people outside and felt increasingly uneasy.

The security in the capital is quite good; otherwise, Fei Yanggu would have had many problems.

Seeing the commotion ahead, the guards couldn't help but feel annoyed. The distinguished guests from Mongolia really didn't know any manners.

"My lord, the Mongol prince is causing trouble up ahead!" a guard reported, and Yin nodded slightly.

"Little Darling, let's leave first!" Yin didn't want Qingyan to be at odds with those princes, as that would put Little Darling in a passive position.

She obediently let Yin lead her. The Mongolian prince must have been drunk. Looking at Yin and his group of guards, he couldn't help but want to have a competition.

Aside from Qingyan, which of the remaining noble ladies wasn't within their grasp?

"Hey you guys in front, wait a minute!" Hearing the exchange behind him, Yin took out a veil from his purse and quickly covered Qingyan's face with it.

Qingyan handed the jade rabbit lantern to Sulan. The voice sounded somewhat familiar to her, and she nervously gripped Yin's hand.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen." Yin turned around with a stern face, and the troublemaking Mongolian prince had already walked up to them.

The Mongol prince opened his blurry eyes and looked Yin up and down. He felt like he had seen the boy somewhere before.

The servants behind the prince stared wide-eyed at Su Peisheng. Wasn't this the Fourth Prince's personal servant?

He quickly stepped forward and exchanged a few words with the prince.

"Fourth Prince?" The Crown Prince looked Qingyan up and down. "You like the person beside you?"

Yin looked at the other person coldly, feeling annoyed that the other person was looking at Qingyan.

"If you don't like Princess Ulanara, please give her to me!" Before the Mongol prince could finish speaking, Yin gave the guard a look and punched the burly man to the ground.

"You should know who you should be lusting after," Yin said viciously.

He held Qingyan's small hand tightly, as if afraid that someone would snatch Qingyan away from him.

"You... how dare you treat me like this! Don't you know the relationship between me and the Empress Dowager?" The Crown Prince was furious. On the grasslands, no one dared to treat him like this behind his back. Looking at Yin's expression, he couldn't help but feel annoyed.

Yin left the Mongol heir with only his back turned, and led Qingyan away surrounded by guards.

Once people outside learned of his identity, he had to leave immediately. There were still quite a few rebels in the capital. Many of the remnants of those rebels that Kangxi dealt with in his early years were not completely eliminated until he was 30 years old.

He quickly walked to the carriage, helped Qingyan into it, and only then did he finally feel relieved.

"Fourth Prince, will everything be alright?" Qingyan understood that when the Mongolian prince shouted, many people around heard it. Taking advantage of the moment when those people hadn't recovered, Yin quickly left the night market.

Yin shook his head, still unsure whether they would be able to get back to the new house safely.

"Su Peisheng, speed up and head towards the new house as much as possible!" Yin was a little worried. They rarely went out in secret, and if someone blocked their way, they probably wouldn't be able to get back.

Su Peisheng watched as the guards, now in plain sight, surrounded Yin's carriage. Fortunately, the new residence wasn't far from the night market; otherwise, they would have been in serious trouble.

Yin leaned to the side, letting Xiao Guai into his arms.

"We'll be home soon!" Yin patted Qingyan's back, gradually easing her tension. When they were still a short distance from the new house, the sound of many horses' hooves rang out behind them. Qingyan looked at Yin in alarm.

She could tell that the sound of hooves didn't belong to Fei Yanggu and his two sons. Could it be that they were going to be stopped here?

"Don't worry, nothing will happen," Yin reassured Qingyan, listening intently.

The sound of hooves resembled that of Mongolian horses. It seemed the Mongolian prince hadn't given up. Well, it was good to let him know who was in his carriage.

"Master, it's the Mongol prince we just encountered. This servant has already had the guards keep him at a distance!" Fei Yanggu whispered to Yin.

Um!

Yin responded, closed his eyes, and patted the relaxed Xiao Guai.
