Inside the study, all the highest-ranking officials in the naval port were present. Yin sat in the seat to the left of the head of the table, with Yin Genjueluo sitting to her left. The seat to the right was empty, and Fei Yanggu and his two sons sat in the seat to the right.
After Yin entered, he sat on the right. After Qingyan was seated, the twins and Songkelierha stood in front of Li Guangdi. The three bowed and Li Guangdi accepted the bow with a half bow.
Yin Genjue Luo Shi and Qing Yan prepared a ceremony for the children to formally become disciples. When Qing Yan opened his purple brush, Li Guangdi was completely stunned.
These purple-haired brushes were basically tribute items; very few actually circulated outside the country, perhaps not even one a year.
"Fourth Master, this is too precious!" Li Guangdi quickly stood up and refused.
"Alright, this is Yiken'e's apprenticeship ceremony, and it has been formally approved in front of Father Emperor!" Yin quickly advised.
After speaking, Yin and Yang exchanged a glance. Yin knew that this was only Yin's side of the story, and Kangxi certainly didn't know the truth.
"Then this servant will not refuse!" Li Guangdi was relieved.
Qingyan chuckled inwardly. Li Guangdi was a bit too proper, although he was quite clever when teaching.
The apprenticeship ceremony concluded simply, and Li Guangdi rose to take his leave. Fei Yanggu and Li Guangdi had a private conversation that lasted about an hour, during which Li Guangdi, following Kangxi's orders, hinted at some things to Li Dequan.
"Father, did the Emperor send Li Guangdi to deliver a message?!" Qingyan noticed Fei Yanggu's pale face, indicating that something must have happened in the capital.
"Yes, that's about right. The capital has started cleaning up officials involved in the Imperial Household Department. Soon, it will be time for us to do the same," Fei Yanggu said, looking at Yin and Yin.
Yin and Yin exchanged a glance. Sure enough, the commotion in the capital was quite significant. The Imperial Household Department had sent some people, who were just nameless soldiers in the navy. These people wouldn't cause any trouble.
“Starting tomorrow, the children will all be going to the study.” Fei Yanggu looked at Yiken’e, thinking of the newborn Hafeng’a, and was filled with enthusiasm. “Prince Zhi, Fourth Prince, guards and sentries should also be set up around the study.”
Fei Yanggu felt uneasy, as if something was about to happen.

Those who were wronged could be rescued, since most of those sent were illegitimate sons who had no status at home. Therefore, they had to rely on military merits to climb the ranks.
"Little darling, you also need to be careful. Your sister-in-law has been feeling heavier lately, so please take extra care of the accountant's actions." Yin said helplessly.
Yin Genjueluo is still a few months away from giving birth, so she cannot overexert herself now.
"Okay, the people in the accounting department are keeping a close eye on things, so there shouldn't be any major problems!" Qingyan nodded in agreement. She had already made arrangements to avoid trouble.

Returning from the study, Qingyan leaned lazily against the chaise longue, watching Yin sit at his desk and begin reviewing the Ministry of Revenue's memorials. She tilted her head, watching Yin work diligently, her almond-shaped eyes sparkling.
"My little darling, if you look at me again, I'm going to kiss you!" Yin said, looking down.
As soon as he finished speaking, he put down the folded document in his hand, raised his head, and gazed at her.
"Fourth Prince, when do you think Father's secret decree will arrive?" Qingyan asked, resting his chin on his right hand and looking at Yin.
The soldiers in the naval port had just managed to get along well, and now there's another large-scale cleanup, which is bound to cause panic among them.
"It should be in the next few days, little darling, are you ready?" Yin asked.
Qingyan was stunned. What did this have to do with her?
“We’re prepared. At the very least, the people in the accounting department will behave themselves,” Qingyan replied. “Fourth Brother, why keep such a close eye on the accounting department? Could there be spies inside?”
Yin nodded. The people from the Imperial Household Department would seize any opportunity to infiltrate; there would be spies in every place.
"Let's think again, what else might we have overlooked!" Yin said, rubbing his temples.
Yin has already begun the investigation, leaving no place unchecked.
"I've got it, that's the kitchen!" Yin, Yin, and Fei Yanggu all have small kitchens, so they don't need a large one.
The soldiers, however, were unable to do so and continued to eat in the main kitchen.

Su Peisheng quickly left and went to the doorway to talk to Bayan about the situation.

"Come here!" Yin beckoned to Qingyan, signaling her to come over.
After she got up, she walked to Yin's side and was pulled onto his lap by him.
"Master, how long do you think it will take for the naval port to return to peace after it's been cleaned up?" Qingyan rubbed her temples. This had to happen every few months, and she really couldn't take it anymore.
After the Lunar New Year, Qingyan discovered that the transplantation within the military port had not calmed down, and now, it was finally time to begin the reckoning.
"It should be around late spring," Yin thought. "If I wash it all, there shouldn't be any problems."
"Moreover, at the end of the month, the tenth prince will also be setting sail!" Yin needed to arrange everything so that the soldiers could go on their expedition smoothly.
"Is another war about to break out?" Qingyan's almond-shaped eyes widened. "We'll have to prepare some more warehouses!"
Each expedition brought back a considerable amount of supplies, and now the naval port is completely self-sufficient.
