With the Emperor's birthday approaching in March, Changchun Garden began preparations for the celebrations. Yin and Qingyan were preparing for their trip to the south. For several days in a row, they were summoned to Changchun Garden by Emperor Kangxi and Consort Tong. The twins, the dragon and the phoenix, even acted cute and cuddly, wanting to stay with their grandfather and grandmother for a few more days.
Hafeng, with unsteady little steps, ran straight into Kangxi's open arms.
"Mafa...Mafa!" Hafeng waved his little arms and ran towards Kangxi with a big smile.
Consort Tong stood aside, ready to embrace Hafeng at any moment, while Qingyan was ordered by Emperor Kangxi and Consort Tong to sit and watch.
Yin watched as Hafeng was trained by Kangxi, but his face showed no reaction whatsoever.
"Yes, call him Mafa... See this jade pendant? Walk back and forth like this four times, and Mafa will give it to you!" Kangxi had the imperial workshops prepare many small jade pendants, specifically for Hafeng. When the child was able to fulfill his requirements, he would bestow all of these things upon Hafeng.
It took the imperial workshops several days to finally deliver this batch of exquisite jade pendants to Emperor Kangxi.
"Mafa... I want it!" Hafeng opened his little hands, ready to grab the jade pendant, but Kangxi immediately dodged his hand to the side.
"Come here, Granny." Consort Tong also took out a jade pendant of the same color and beckoned to herself.
Hafeng looked around in confusion and noticed two jade pendants of the same color. He then walked directly towards Consort Tong.
Yin was stunned as he watched Hafeng's cheerful little steps. They had been letting Hafeng walk around in the walker, but he didn't walk very often each time.
Kangxi looked at Yin with a smug expression. He hadn't paid enough attention to the child. When Yin was learning to walk, he had received many good things from him.

Yin was speechless. Was it really appropriate to talk about his childhood like that in front of Qingyan?

Consort Tong laughed heartily. Yin's expression was very similar to that of a child. When talking about his embarrassing past, he would find all sorts of excuses to change the subject.

The twins were beside him, their little heads huddled together, giggling and laughing. Yin poked Yiken's little head.
"When we get back, copy the Classic of Filial Piety for me ten times!" Yin wouldn't have any complaints about his daughter, so Yiken'e didn't need to be polite.

Yiken slumped his shoulders in frustration, looking both amused and exasperated.
“Father, how can you be so biased?” Yiken’e expressed his dissatisfaction. “Why do you say everything is fine when my sister smiles?”
"You are the elder brother!" Yin was very strict with Yiken'e, hoping that after he was gone, he would be the one to support his younger brothers and sisters.
Hutuli Fengsheng Zhalafen quietly squeezed Yiken'e's hand, urging him to agree first.
“Remember, I’ll have you copy it ten times yourself. Your father will recognize you!” Yin said directly.
Yiken was dejected. This time, even his last escape route had been cut off. If Hutuli Fengsheng Zhalafen helped him, Yin would definitely punish him more severely.
"Fourth Prince, Yiken'e hasn't done anything wrong. The Emperor's birthday is coming soon, so let them stay in Changchun Garden for the next few days." Kangxi said directly, looking at Yiken'e's dejected face.

Qingyan stood behind the father and son, watching the two figures, one big and one small, and immediately became happy. Yin rarely agreed to Yiken'e's requests unconditionally. He would only give Yiken'e a certain reward after Yiken'e had done a good job.
"Fourth Brother, don't be so protective of Hafeng in front of Yiken'e, otherwise, the relationship between the two brothers will become very bad!" Qingyan quickly informed Yin.

Qingyan was relieved; Yin always kept his promises.

The carriage left Changchun Garden, and Yin sat down on the cushion with Hafeng in his arms. Hafeng stepped on Yin's thighs and waved his little hands.
