Besides finishing his drawing of his cat training mouse, Duofu has been busy these days.
I've always been rather idle, living a carefree life like a hermit every day. When I'm full, I go for a stroll, and when I'm tired, I come back to lie down, or just find a place that's been set up and lie down.
The Fourth Prince's mansion had many nests built for him, some hanging in trees, some piled in the grass, all sorts of little nests and houses for him to lie down in at any time.
Duofu wasn't actually that lazy. It's all because the Fourth Prince was setting up camp everywhere, making him too tired to go back to the front yard to find a bed. He just found a place that looked nice and settled in there, then went back to find something to eat after he woke up.
Duofu had no idea how many of the Fourth Prince's spies were in the mansion. Anyway, no matter which bed he fell asleep in, he would always be carried to the swing in the front yard.
Sleeping under the Fourth Prince's nose didn't bother Duofu at all; on the contrary, he was quite happy. He could eat immediately upon waking.
Duofu sat at the table, eagerly waiting for Su Peisheng to serve the dishes. His long, fleshy fingers fiddled with the white jade cup in front of him, and for a moment it was hard to tell whether the white jade cup or Duofu's fingers were whiter.
The fingers are round and full, with a touch of red, and they fly around as their owner moves them from side to side.
Duofu has grown a lot in the past two years. He has finally grown from below the Fourth Prince's waist to almost chest height. Maybe if he grows for another two years, he will be taller than the Fourth Prince.
Duofu looked enviously at the Fourth Prince sitting next to him, who was clearly a head taller than him. Duofu ate healthier than the Fourth Prince, who was a picky eater when he was young and didn't like to eat meat much, mostly eating vegetables.
Why does he love eating meat so much?
It's outrageous that someone who's not even as tall as a vegetarian can be so short.
Duofu secretly glanced at someone sitting at the table, drinking tea.
She has broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and beautiful facial features with an indescribable smoothness. Coupled with her light-colored eyes, a single glance from her when she looks up at you is enough to show you what aloofness and indifference truly mean.
Duofu had never met this type of person before, no wonder everyone likes to bring down the unattainable beauty.
Duofu also enjoyed watching the Fourth Prince's changing expressions, but it was best if he wasn't the one who provoked him, so he wouldn't have to bear part of the anger.
He just wanted to sit quietly to the side, watch the Fourth Prince's expression change. As he matured, the coldness on his face seemed etched into it, impossible to tear off.
Duofu still prefers the angry Fourth Prince; he seems more human to him.
The Fourth Prince looked at Duofu, whose face was almost resting on the table, his eyes unfocused, seemingly lost in thought.
Having been carefully nurtured from a three-headed infant to the handsome and refined young man before him, the Fourth Prince felt an unparalleled sense of satisfaction.
This sense of satisfaction was even greater than when he accomplished something great in the court and was praised by his father, the Emperor.
Especially when he sees the increasingly outstanding young man, he always sees his own reflection in those big, dark eyes. This feeling is addictive to him and makes him unable to let go.
The Fourth Prince has become increasingly addicted to this over the years. He can't imagine what he would do if Duofu, whom he raised, grew up and wanted to leave his side.
The Fourth Prince put down his cup, reached out and stroked Duofu's head, which was covered in beautiful hair, a couple of times. The hair was so smooth that one couldn't help but linger.
The Fourth Prince did not let go, leaving his right hand resting on Duofu's head.
Duofu couldn't help but rub against him, wondering what was wrong with the Fourth Prince. Was he also tired of waiting for food like him?
Su Peisheng was puzzled. Why hadn't their food returned yet? They used to be incredibly efficient. Was someone in the kitchen trying to steal his food?
That's impossible.
This is all the residence of the Fourth Prince, and everything is done with the Fourth Prince's name in mind.
Could it be that the dishes he ordered were too difficult to cook?
Duofu blinked, his eyes full of confusion.
It seems he ordered a bowl of lamb today that's rather difficult to cook.
The Fourth Prince looked at Duofu, whom he had raised into a young man. Duofu's eyes were still as round and bright as when he was a child. This had not changed. He was still mischievous and clever.
Her nose seems to have become more refined, and the baby fat on her face is gradually decreasing. It might not be noticeable in another two years.
Her eyebrows are curved, and she looks especially beautiful when she smiles.
The Fourth Prince couldn't help but stare at Duofu's face, scanning it inch by inch, wanting to see what changes had taken place in his beloved child over the years.
Just as Duofu thought he had done something bad again, he was being watched closely by the Fourth Prince.
My head is practically spinning from banging it against the wall, but I still can't remember doing anything bad lately.
He hasn't done anything wrong lately. He's been staying in the manor obediently, not sneaking out to play, and has been studying diligently.
Duofu thought it over carefully. He had been behaving himself lately and hadn't done anything wrong.
That definitely has nothing to do with him; perhaps the Fourth Prince was also captivated by his good looks.
Duofu is quite pleased with her pretty little face lately, but her eyes are too round and she feels they don't quite suit her temperament.
He's supposed to be aloof and reserved, but these round eyes ruin his aura. You can't tell he's cold from those eyes.
Duofu touched his beautiful and gorgeous face and couldn't help but admire himself as he spoke to the Fourth Prince.
"Fourth Brother, am I good-looking? You're staring at me like a daze."
“I also think I look pretty good. Look at my bone structure, my nose, my eyes, my eyebrows, there’s nothing wrong with it. Except for my eyes, which don’t meet my aesthetic standards, I can’t find a single fault with the rest.”
"Fourth Brother, don't you think so?"
The Fourth Prince, unusually quick-witted, didn't quite catch on; all he could hear in his mind was Duofu asking if he was good-looking.
The Fourth Prince nodded instinctively and gave a soft "hmm."
Upon hearing that Duofu's eyes were not beautiful, the Fourth Prince couldn't help but stare at Duofu's big, bright black eyes. These were his favorite eyes, which made people feel light and good things always seemed to be shining. Even when he cried, his eyes were still moist and shiny, which made people feel annoyed but only made them feel sorry for him.
The Fourth Prince shook his head slightly, his face full of disapproval.
Duofu really didn't understand his fourth prince's actions; he nodded at first, then shook his head.
So, is he good-looking or not?
Does his appearance not meet the Fourth Prince's aesthetic standards?
Absolutely impossible.
Duofu's pretty, delicate little face couldn't help but have her beautiful eyebrows furrowed into a knot.
Duofu grabbed the Fourth Prince's right hand and shoved it into his face.
"Fourth Brother, feel it, feel it. What's wrong with it? Let me tell you, my bone structure is superb. If there were a plastic surgery clinic here, I would definitely be the best template."
