The Fourth Prince squinted, adjusting his eyes to the light, and looked at Duofu, who was still half asleep beside him. The tenderness and doting in his eyes were impossible to hide, and his voice carried a hint of joy.
"Su Peisheng, go to His Majesty's side later and ask for leave. Tell him that he has caught a cold and will not be around for the next few days, so as not to infect him."
Su Peisheng listened silently to his master, inwardly complaining that his master never even bothered to think before he lied.
