Chapter 323 The Fourth Prince's Tomb

The carriage soon arrived at the Fourth Prince's residence.

Because of the recent massacre, the Fourth Prince's residence had acquired a nice-sounding name. Those who knew the inside story were unwilling to go too close to the place, and even the night watchmen would take a detour.

Chen Siyuan instructed Wang Li to park the carriage in a secluded spot far from the Fourth Prince's residence, where it would not be easily discovered. Under the cover of night, she had Wang Li lead her quietly over the wall.

Chunlan felt it was unnecessary; the place was full of dead people, so why be so careful?

Unfortunately, when she jumped over the wall, she was stunned by what she saw.

There were no corpses or blood everywhere; that was simply not true.

Everything was normal inside except that there were no lights on, just like when there were living people.

The garden was full of flowers and was spotless, without a trace of dirt. Not only that, they could even smell the aroma of food in the garden.

Even at this hour, the aroma still lingers, clearly indicating that someone lives here.

Upon seeing this, Chen Siyuan realized that her guess was correct.

But she didn't let Chunlan continue following her. Instead, she immediately left to wait outside and asked Wang Li to take her to the backyard to search.

They called it the backyard, but really they just wanted to see the Fourth Prince's central garden.

Upon arriving at the Fourth Prince's central garden, they saw faint lights emanating from within.

They hid quietly in the shadows.

They quickly determined that there were only one or two people inside.

"who!"

Just as I was about to stay a little longer, someone suddenly rushed out.

Chen Siyuan and the man met briefly, and Wang Li, following the young mistress's instructions, immediately took Chen Siyuan away.

Wang Li was already moving very fast, but an arrow was still chasing after him.

When they arrived at the door, Chunlan was already waiting with the carriage beside them, and the three of them quickly escaped from the place.

When the people inside chased after them, they had already disappeared without a trace.

Sitting in the carriage again, Chen Siyuan was certain of her thoughts: her elder brother was not here.

Thinking to himself, if he wasn't in the Fourth Prince's residence, then where could he be?

She hoped that Qiao Yuchen had gotten a good result, but she wasn't sure. Her older brother had been taken away for so long, and the longer it went on, the more dangerous it became.

Suddenly, a scene flashed into my mind.

The tenth prince clearly hasn't forgotten what happened between him and the fourth prince when they were young, and he's also grateful for the fourth prince's mother's sacrifices back then. So, if he were to take his elder brother away now, where would he be?

Could it be...?

"Quickly, go to the Fourth Prince's tomb." This bold assumption startled Chen Siyuan. At this moment, she couldn't care less about anything else. Before leaving, she told Wang Li to immediately send a signal to gather their people and rush over.

Wang Li maintained contact with these people outside. While driving the carriage, he sent signals, and once he finished, he immediately headed to the tomb of the Fourth Prince.

It's quite ridiculous.

The fourth prince was supposed to be buried in the royal mausoleum after his death, but for some reason, he was buried in a cemetery outside the city.

The tomb was very luxurious, but it was not a royal mausoleum, which shows that the emperor disliked this son a lot until his death.

When the three of them arrived, they gradually met up with Wang Li's men. After they arrived, they did not hide their whereabouts and rushed over directly.

Chen Siyuan didn't recognize anyone; all she saw was a frame being set up in front of the Fourth Prince's tomb, with someone tied to it.

As they drew closer, it became clear that it really was Chen Luyang.

Chen Luyang was covered in blood, his head bowed, unaware of his condition.

Chen Siyuan got off the carriage and rushed over.

Wang Li felt something was amiss; there was a trap.

Chen Siyuan couldn't hold him back, so Wang Li had no choice but to risk his life to save him.

Just as Chen Siyuan was about to rush over and save her older brother, and reached out her hand, a sudden burst of flames appeared in front of her.

Wang Li suddenly pulled Chen Siyuan back.

The fire broke out suddenly, which was even more bizarre.

Wang Li and the others looked around, trying to figure out who was controlling this place.

At this moment, Chen Siyuan pushed Wang Li aside and rushed over, ignoring the raging fire in front of her.

At the crucial moment, Qiao Yuchen suddenly arrived.

He grabbed Chen Siyuan and leaped into the air.

The moment Chen Luyang stood calmly to the side, someone rushed over to rescue him from the pillar, and the sounds of clashing swords filled the air.

Chen Siyuan turned her head to look over, but the man pressed her tightly against his chest.

"It's not good-looking." The man's deep, sharp voice came from behind.

Upon hearing this, Chen Siyuan quietly leaned against his chest.

Qiao Yuchen looked around and sneered.

Damn it, how dare he scheme against his woman? He must have a death wish.

If I hadn't discovered it in time, it's very likely that the time would have been delayed, and my woman would have been infected, and the punishment wouldn't have been like this.

He never needs a reason to kill.

He wouldn't care who he targeted, even if it was a prince.

The surrounding area was a scene of bloodshed.

The people Qiao Yuchen brought with him fought each other with those around them.

They were already used to this kind of scene, and the more they saw it, the happier they were.

Chen Luyang slowly woke up. He was very weak. The torment he had endured had almost taken his life.

Fortunately, he is still alive and has a chance.

Upon seeing Wang Li beside him, and remembering that his sister was also nearby, he looked around and, overcoming all lines of sight, spotted the woman being held in Qiao Yuchen's arms.

My heart aches.

Why?

Why is he so incompetent?

He didn't think it was a big deal to lose face in front of his own sister; the scene before him...

He glanced around and saw the masks with ghost heads on them, and his heart sank.
