"You know?" Madam Jiang was agitated. Whoever killed her daughter, she would make them pay with their life.
"I know." Jiang Jinglin looked at his mother and finally realized who was the real person who killed his eldest sister.
"Speak quickly." She wanted revenge for her daughter, and no matter who the perpetrator was, she would kill them to avenge her daughter.
Her daughter is not someone anyone can touch.
“It’s General Qiao.” Jiang Jinglin said, staring intently at his mother, taking in the shock, disbelief, and then anger on her face.
"What...what did you say?" Madam Jiang couldn't accept it. Even if it was helping Consort Qing, it was unacceptable to kill her own daughter.
“I said, General Qiao killed my eldest sister with his own hands,” Jiang Jinglin said, closing his eyes.

Her death brought him pain, and when he learned of it, he was determined to avenge his elder sister. However, after learning the whole story, he dared not think that way anymore, simply because it was something they owed to others.
Upon hearing the news, Madam Jiang went berserk and tried to rush out, but Jiang Jinglin stopped her in time.
"Jiang Jinglin, that's your eldest sister. You haven't forgotten how she treated you, have you?" Madam Jiang was stunned by her son, which fueled her anger.
Jiang Jinglin couldn't bear to face his mother like this, but he had no choice. What had already happened was already done, and he didn't want to lose his mother as well.
He worried that someone might use this incident to incite his mother to do something irrational.
After Madam Jiang had vented her anger, Jiang Jinglin seemed to accept reality and began to explain to his mother.
"Mother, you must have heard that Qi Zhen died from long-term use of chronic poison, right?" Jiang Jinglin still had a sliver of hope in his heart; he hoped that things weren't as bad as he thought.
