Chapter 150 Three Children Share the Same Misfortune

Chi Yuning promptly admitted her mistake and returned all the fruit. Zhou Xueguan couldn't bear to scold her for a moment.

Chi Yuning apologized so quickly that the little girl was taken aback and couldn't tell whether she was sincere or not.

Zhuang Yueyue only knew how to cry. After seeing Chi Yuning admit her mistake, she timidly glanced at Zhou Xueguan. Seeing that her expression softened, she followed suit and cried as she apologized to the little dumpling.

Chi Yuning and Zhuang Yueyue kept saying that they were too hungry, which is why they took the jujube cake.

Zhou Xueguan didn't want to punish them too severely, so after reprimanding the two boys a few times, he addressed the crowd:

"Alright, everyone, please sit down and continue eating. If there isn't enough food in the future, please let the instructors know immediately, and they will provide more food. You absolutely must not take food from other people's tables!"

"Okay, Officer Zhou," the children nodded in unison.

Zhou Xueguan brought over some new jujube cake and noodle soup, and handed them to Xiao Tuanzi.

"Don't be sad. They only took your food because they didn't have enough to eat."

The little girl listened to Zhou Xueguan's words but didn't reach out to take the food. She felt that something was wrong with what Zhou Xueguan said.

"No, it's not because they didn't have enough food; they deliberately stole from us."

The little dumpling felt that both Chi Yuning and Zhuang Yueyue had distorted the true nature of the matter.

Zhou Xueguan placed the food in front of the little dumpling, his expression already showing some displeasure.

"They've both apologized, what more do you want?"

Frustrated, Zhou Xueguan pulled the little girl, trying to force her back into her seat.

The little dumpling pushed Zhou Xueguan away, feeling a sense of disgust towards him for the first time.

She didn't feel disgusted when she was hit.

But now, the little girl has discovered that many of the things Zhou Xueguan says are wrong, which makes her very disgusted.

Zhou Xueguan was even more annoyed and almost yelled, "Can't you just shut up for a second!"

She pointed at Chi Yuning, who was eating obediently, and said, "Can't you be as well-behaved as the other children?"

The little dumpling didn't like Zhou Xueguan and stubbornly refused to sit down.

"You spanked my butt, it hurts so much, I can't sit on the bench!"

"Then you'll eat standing up, and you're not allowed to cause any more trouble!" Zhou Xueguan said sternly, pointing at the little dumpling.

The little dumpling was also hungry. She ignored Zhou Xueguan and picked up a porcelain spoon to eat the soup noodles.

Seeing that she was finally willing to eat, Zhou Xueguan breathed a sigh of relief and left.

After Zhou Xueguan left, Zhuang Yueyue glared at the little dumpling and said to the person next to her:

"Did you see that? She falsely accused everyone of stealing and even talked back to Zhou Xueguan!"

"Yes, it seems like even Academician Zhou doesn't like her!"

Everyone saw Zhou Xueguan's attitude, and their impression of Xiao Tuanzi worsened as a result.

After dinner, when the children were playing games together, the little girl realized that no one wanted to play with her.

"We're full here, you guys go play with other teams."

"No, we won't play with bad students."

"Hmph! I wouldn't dare play with you. What if you lose something again? Wouldn't you say I stole it!"

...

The little dumpling could only stand by the bamboo grove, watching the others happily play games.

She couldn't quite understand why everyone suddenly disliked her.

Mu Yanxiu walked over with her head down. Because of her close relationship with the little dumpling, she was also ostracized by everyone.

While crying, Mu Yanxiu said to the little dumpling:

"Auntie, why does everyone say we're bad kids and no one wants to play with us anymore?"

Mu Yanxiu had never been treated like this before; this was the first time she had ever experienced being isolated.

The little dumpling wiped away her tears and hugged Mu Yanxiu, who was a little taller than her.

Speak like you would a child:

"Don't cry, don't cry. If they won't play with us, then we won't play with them either."

"Sigh! They won't play with me either!" Meng Fei walked over at some point and spoke softly.

The three little children looked at each other, as if they shared a similar plight.

The little dumpling lowered its head in disappointment and saw many small stones on the ground in the bamboo forest.

She clapped her hands and exclaimed, "That's right! We can play that!"

After saying that, she squatted down and began picking up small stones.

Mu Yanxiu and Meng Fei were somewhat puzzled by her actions.

Mu Yanxiu: "Auntie, what are you going to do?"
