Chapter 49 Making it a fait accompli

In the early morning, the little dumpling spread its arms and legs wide, forming a "big" shape on the bed.

She was fast asleep when suddenly she felt someone kneading and rubbing her face.

"Hmm, who is it?" the little dumpling mumbled, half-asleep.

The little dumpling reached out and removed the hand that was rubbing her face, turned over, and continued to sleep in.

"Auntie, wake up! We still have so many things to buy."

When Mu Yanxiu realized that rubbing the little dumpling's face wouldn't wake her up, she took off her shoes and climbed onto the bed.

He held her face and took a bite.

Her strength was neither too great nor too light, but enough to wake the sleepy little person up.

"Ouch!" the little dumpling cried out in pain and sat up.

Her little face, marked with teeth marks, glared angrily at Mu Yanxiu, who was giggling.

"Hmph, you naughty little niece." After saying that, the little dumpling bit Mu Yanxiu's nose.

Mu Yanxiu yelled, covered her nose, and retaliated by slapping the little dumpling on the nose.

Not to be outdone, the little dumpling also took another bite of Mu Yanxiu.

The two of them took turns biting each other.

Qiuqiu, lying in the doghouse, opened one eye and saw the boring farce unfolding on the bed.

Qiuqiu smacked her lips a few times, then pretended not to see anything and continued sleeping with her eyes closed.

The two little ones were so tired by the end that their jaws were almost dislocated from biting so hard.

Fortunately, neither of them used too much force; they were just joking around.

The little dumpling lay there for a while before remembering.

Because they were going to Fuling Mountain tomorrow, she and Mu Yanxiu discussed it yesterday and decided to go shopping today.

The little dumpling climbed out of bed and ran to the other end of the room.

There were ten large wardrobes there, with her clothes neatly hanging inside.

"Little niece, come here and see, which one should I wear?"

The little dumpling waved to Mu Yanxiu.

Mu Yanxiu jumped out of bed and ran to the little dumpling's side.

Upon seeing ten full closets of clothes, I was so surprised that my mouth dropped open.

"Auntie, you have too many clothes."

Little dumpling: "They were all bought by my dad and brother, and some were gifts from my uncle and aunt."

She remembered that there were dozens of boxes of her clothes in the warehouse.

The little dumpling took Mu Yanxiu's hand and said:

"Quick, little niece, pick one out too, let's go out looking beautiful."

Mu Yanxiu raised her eyebrows happily, and she and the little dumpling did the same.

Finally, the little girl chose a white horse-face skirt with green and blue peony prints embroidered on the hem, and two pom-poms hanging from the light green collared shawl, dripping down her chest.

It is elegant and refined.

Mu Yanxiu picked out a similar style to hers, but in a pinkish-red color, which perfectly matched her flamboyant and bright personality.

The little dumpling took two plush rabbit bags, one for herself and one for Mu Yanxiu.

Two adorable little babies, hand in hand, arrived at the main hall of the Mu family.

The moment he entered the room, he attracted everyone's attention.

The Mu family looked at the two children with satisfaction, feeling a sense of accomplishment and joy, like watching their daughters grow up.

It was rare for Mu Yanxiu to dress so elegantly and gently.

As for the little dumpling, although she is only four years old, she already has the beauty to be described as stunning.

After breakfast, the little dumpling started talking to Mu Ting about going out.

Both the eldest and fourth brothers had military duties to attend to. Early in the morning, one went to the military camp and the other went to the palace.

Third Brother went to the money exchange to check the accounts.

Therefore, the task of accompanying the little dumpling to the street fell to the second brother, Mu Jinyi.

Mu Jinyi stood tall and elegant, his charming peach blossom eyes seemingly smiling yet not smiling, playing with the black iron fan in his hand.

He lightly patted his palm with his fan, his eyes never leaving his younger sister in front of him for a second.

The bustling market street was filled with people coming and going.

Little Dumpling and Mu Yanxiu were shopping in front, while Mu Jinyi followed behind to pay.

Soon, Mu Jinyi noticed that there were many more people in the market.

Although these people were dressed in ordinary civilian clothes, they were actually the Mu family's personal guards.

Without a second thought, Mu Jinyi knew that these people must have been sent by the old Marquis.

It's likely that the old Marquis didn't trust him and was afraid that something like what happened at the winter market would happen again, so he sent people in disguise to secretly protect the two children.

Xiao Tuanzi and Mu Yanxiu bought a lot of candied fruit, braised duck necks, spicy chicken wings, and so on.

The two little ones' legs were a bit sore from walking around.

Mu Jinyi handed the items to two guards and then took the little girl to a teahouse to rest.

Little Dumpling and Mu Yanxiu ordered two bowls of nut-flavored sweet milk, while Mu Jinyi ordered a pot of tea, which they savored slowly.

The little dumpling was munching on a sweet and spicy chicken wing when she suddenly heard a familiar female voice coming from the private room next door.

"Brother Yong, I'd rather die than not be with you."

The little girl immediately recognized Su Momo's voice and turned her head to look.

The two private rooms are separated by long crystal tassels.

Through the tassel, the little dumpling saw Su Momo wiping away her tears with her head down, and a thin man sitting next to her.

The man looked somewhat handsome, but his physique was too thin, making him appear somewhat frail.

The man reached out and pulled the weeping Su Momo into his arms, gently comforting her:

"Mo Bao, you are the only woman I love most in this life."

The cheesy words made the little dumpling tremble. She nudged Mu Yanxiu next to her, indicating that there was a good show going on over there.

The two little heads looked over at the same time, gnawing on their chicken wings as they watched.

Seeing that neither of them blinked, Mu Jinyi couldn't help but feel curious.

Following their gaze, one could see a man and a woman embracing.

Mu Jinyi's lips twitched a few times.

Indeed, the love of gossip knows no age.

Su Momo's voice was so soft it was almost dripping with water.

“Brother Yong, my eldest sister said that if I marry you, she won’t let me be her younger sister.”

"Why don't we elope? I don't care about this fourth Miss Su. I just want to be with you forever."

Wang Yong's eyes widened slightly, and his tone immediately hardened.

"no!"

Su Momo looked up curiously, "Why? Is it just because you're interested in my family background?"

Wang Yong quickly waved his hand, his tone softening.

"Mo Bao, how could you think of me like that!"

Am I the kind of person who craves wealth and luxury?

Where the two couldn't see, the little dumpling and Mu Yanxiu nodded together.

Su Momo lay in Wang Yong's arms again, "I knew it, Brother Yong is the best, you must just love me as a person."

Wang Yong: "Of course, Mo Bao, I just don't want you to do anything outrageous because of me."

Su Momo nodded obediently, as if she believed whatever Wang Yong said.

"If my older sister doesn't agree, how can we be together?"

Wang Yong's eyes darted around, and he leaned close to her ear with a lecherous grin, saying:

"Then we'll make it a fait accompli, and your older sister won't be able to do anything about it."

Wang Yong suddenly lowered his voice, and even though Xiao Tuanzi and Mu Yanxiu craned their necks, they couldn't hear what he said.

The little dumpling pouted, not hearing any gossip. Her heart felt itchy, like it was being scratched by a kitten.

Mu Yanxiu was also itching to go over and grab Wang Yong's mouth so she could make him repeat what he had just said loudly.

Although Mu Jinyi didn't hear it, he did see Su Momo smile shyly and lightly punch Wang Yong's chest.

Based on Su Momo's reaction, Mu Jinyi immediately guessed what Wang Yong had said.

He frowned. How could such a frivolous and greasy man have deceived the fourth young lady of the Su family like this?

What a brainless woman.

Mu Jinyi tapped the little dumpling and Mu Yanxiu's heads with his fan.

He whispered to them, "See? You're not allowed to date men like that when you grow up."

Not just this kind of man, Mu Jinyi would angrily chase any man who approached Xiao Tuanzi away.

His precious little sister must not be allowed to get close to stinky men!
