Mu Ting ran to the little dumpling's side, only to find that her belly was perfectly fine.
"Your stomach isn't on fire," Mu Ting asked, puzzled.
The little dumpling, with tears in her eyes, reached out to Mu Tingzheng for a hug.
She nestled in Mu Tingzheng's arms and murmured softly:
"Father, my stomach hurts."
The old Marquis entered wearing a mink coat. Seeing that the little one looked unwell, he asked anxiously:
"What's wrong? Why is my little dumpling crying so pitifully?"
Mu Tingzheng replied, "She said her stomach was on fire and she felt terrible."
Upon hearing this, the old marquis became even more anxious, stamped his foot, and shouted:
"Go quickly and fetch a doctor, hurry up!"
Mu Jinnian came in yawning and said leisurely:
"No need to call a doctor."
The old Marquis slapped Mu Jinhou on the back of the head.
"You're talking nonsense. Your sister isn't feeling well, how can you not call a doctor?"
The other three sons of the Mu family also rushed over.
Mu Jinchen glared at Mu Jinnian, "You're so carefree!"
Mu Jinyi: "You're not the one who's suffering!"
Mu Jinxuan: "Fourth brother is talking without understanding the situation. Steward Zheng, give us a few more ingots of silver and tell the doctor to come over quickly. Tell him that he will be richly rewarded if he recovers."
After being lectured by everyone, Mu Jinnian innocently said:
"What I mean is, the little dumpling just ate too much and has indigestion. Don't misunderstand me."
Mu Jinnian knew that his younger sister was strong and ate a lot since she was a child.
I used to live in poverty and often went hungry.
Now that he's back at the Mu family home, he won't get sick from hunger anymore, but from overeating.
Mu Jinnian rubbed the little dumpling's head, seeing her red eyes, like a wronged little rabbit.
She immediately felt sorry for him and said, "I asked you to get down and walk around before, but you didn't want to. Now you're having stomach cramps in the middle of the night, aren't you?"
The little dumpling immediately burst into tears, sobbing as she said:
"Brother, you don't have to blame me. I'm really feeling terrible."
Mu Jinnian quickly took out the hawthorn pills he had prepared from his pocket, had the little dumpling chew them, and then gave her a few digestive pills.
Everyone stood by the bed, looking at the little dumpling with concern.
Mu Ting was holding the little dumpling, gently rubbing her belly, and murmuring:
"Baby, it'll be over soon."
Mu Jinnian: "Yes, I'll be fine after I poop in a bit."
Before long, the little dumpling's stomach started rumbling.
The little boy nudged Mu Tingzheng and said, "Daddy, you should all go out."
Mu Tingzheng was reluctant to put his daughter down and asked, puzzled:
"What's wrong?"
The little dumpling clutched its stomach, looked at the people in the room with embarrassment, and said, "I need to poop."
Oh, the little guy needs to poop.
The old lord quickly had a maid bring over a small chamber pot.
After everyone had left, the little dumpling sat on the potty.
The Fairy of the Blessed Fruit naturally pinched her nose and hid to the side.
The Fairy of Fortune Fruit and Qiuqiu sat on the swing and teased the little dumpling:
"It stinks, it stinks, little dumpling is a stinky child."
The little dumpling blushed with embarrassment as the two of them talked to her.
She asked the maid beside her, "Sister, does it smell bad?"
The maid shook her head but didn't say anything. However, judging from her expression, the taste was indeed not very...friendly.
The little dumpling sat on the toilet, covering its flushed face.
Waaaaah, she's going to be a brat from now on.
...
The next morning, the little girl sat at the dining table and noticed that her bowl had obviously shrunk.
"Daddy, will I have to eat from a small bowl from now on?" the little dumpling asked Mu Tingzheng, tilting his head.
Mu Tingzheng: "Yes, I used a small bowl because I was worried about indigestion."
The little dumpling's face turned sour, and she said, holding up her small bowl:
"But what if I get hungry in such a small bowl?"
Mu Jinnian said with a mischievous smile, "If you're hungry, just eat the bowl."
The little dumpling shook its head violently.
She doesn't want to eat the bowl; it's too hard!
The old Marquis and the others all turned their gazes toward Mu Jinnian, filled with dissatisfaction and intimidation.
Mu Ting glared at Mu Jinnian, thinking, "This fourth brother is getting more and more mischievous and unruly these days!"
Mu Ting looked at the little dumpling tenderly and explained, "When you're hungry, Daddy will give you something delicious, but we can't eat so much at once like before."
When the little dumpling heard that there would be more delicious food, it nodded and said, "Okay, Daddy."
Under dietary control, the little dumpling ate three steamed buns and drank a bowl of porridge.
Mu Tingzheng took away his chopsticks, forbidding him from eating anymore.
But when the little dumpling saw Mu Yanxiu still enjoying her meal, she stared intently at the shrimp buns, her little mouth immediately watering.
She glanced at Mu Tingzheng and saw his serious expression, clearly indicating that begging for mercy was useless.
The little dumpling could only pat his grandfather's hand and say, "Grandpa, that bun looks so delicious!"
The little guy didn't explicitly say he wanted more, but his eyes blinked, subtly hinting to his grandfather.
The old marquis understood immediately and picked up a shrimp bun.
Upon seeing this, Mu Tingzheng coughed lightly twice.
But the old Marquis ignored his son's hints and placed the shrimp bun in the little dumpling's hand.
"Father!" Mu Ting called out in dissatisfaction.
The old Marquis said, "The child is still young! He needs to grow. Eating one is nothing!"
