Eye of the Storm Paradise
Every minute and every second was torture for Zhou Jianxing. She could only stand blankly at the door of Wen Lingyi's bedroom and pray.
I don’t know how long it was before the door was opened.
Wen Lingyi stood at the door.
She was woken up when she was about to fall asleep, and her face still had the laziness of being disturbed. When she saw Zhou Jianxing's pale little face, trembling body and those big amber eyes stained with water, she was confused.
"What's wrong?" Wen Lingyi's voice was very soft.
Another dazzling flash of lightning streaked across the night sky, followed by dull rolling thunder.
Zhou Jianxing's body trembled violently with the thunder, and he almost subconsciously threw himself into Wen Lingyi's arms, hugged her waist tightly with both hands, and buried his face in her warm neck.
"It's... thundering... I'm scared..." The voice was filled with tears.
Wen Lingyi's body stiffened slightly, and then she turned around and hugged the trembling body in her arms tightly.
She closed the door to block out the raging wind and rain outside, but it couldn't block out Zhou Jianxing's drum-like heartbeat, which was clearly transmitted to her chest through the thin silk nightgown.
This was completely beyond her expectation that Zhou Jianxing, a grown-up, would be so afraid of thunder.
But this is also cute.
This fragile and dependent look.
"Don't be afraid." Her voice was low, and her palm gently patted Zhou Jianxing's tense back. "It's just thunder, it won't hurt anyone. Don't be afraid, don't be afraid..."
The trembling of the body in Wen Lingyi's arms slowly subsided as she patted it, leaving only a slight shudder.
"Mrs. Wen..." Zhou Jianxing's voice was muffled in the crook of her neck, with a heavy nasal tone, as thin as a mosquito's hum, full of embarrassment and cautious pleading, "Can I...can I...stay here with you for a while?"
"Just a moment... wait... wait until the thunder stops..."
She didn't even dare to suggest sleeping with Wen Lingyi.
Wen Lingyi tightened her arms and gently rubbed her chin against the top of Zhou Jianxing's head. Her voice was as gentle as usual, like a spring breeze, but with a hint of imperceptible doting than usual.
"Okay. Just stay here."
·
Maintaining the hugging posture, Wen Lingyi slowly moved Zhou Jianxing to the bed and sat down.
Zhou Jianxing still held her waist tightly, as if it was the only fulcrum.
Wen Lingyi leaned against the head of the bed and let Zhou Jianxing half lean in her arms, like comforting a frightened child. Her hands still patted her back from time to time. Before the next thunder sounded, she gently covered Zhou Jianxing's ears with both hands.
The thunder outside the window seemed to gradually become sparse and fade away. In the end, only the sound of raindrops hitting the glass remained.
The initial fear seemed to slowly dissipate under Wen Lingyi's extremely gentle comfort.
Zhou Jianxing's tense nerves finally relaxed completely.
She realized belatedly that she was half lying in Wen Lingyi's arms in an extremely intimate posture.
The tip of my nose was filled with the reassuring scent of the other person's perfume mixed with body fragrance, as well as the fresh smell of shower gel lingering on my body.
Wen Lingyi's embrace was warm and soft, and the warmth of her skin under her silk nightgown ironed her slightly cold cheeks and arms.
The sense of tranquility and security that enveloped her enveloped her so deeply that she almost wanted to sigh.
However, this tranquility did not last long.
As the fear completely receded, another perception began to awaken and amplify sharply.
The body that Zhou Jianxing was clinging to and relying on seemed to be getting hotter and hotter. The body temperature was continuously transmitted through the thin silk nightgown, ironing her.
What made her even more unable to ignore was the sound of the heart beating in Wen Lingyi's chest, which was right next to her ear.
The sound had gradually changed from being steady and powerful at first to becoming heavy and rapid, like dense drum beats, hitting her eardrums and also seemed to hit the top of her heart.
Dong...Dong...Dong...
Accompanying it was Wen Lingyi's breathing.
The breathing sound also changed from the initial steady and long sound to... deep and hot.
Every breath he took seemed to carry a scorching temperature, and the breath brushed against the hair on her forehead.
·
Wen Lingyi's sleepiness had long since disappeared.
Darkness is the best catalyst, and all senses are infinitely magnified.
What lingered at the tip of my nose was the sweet scent of Zhou Jianxing after his fresh bath, with a hint of cheese.
The fragrance continued to evaporate and spread as Zhou Jianxing's body temperature rose, penetrating into every pore of Wen Lingyi, teasing her nerves which were already tense due to the young and elastic body in her arms.
In his ears, he could hear Zhou Jianxing's breathing, which gradually became steady but then became somewhat unstable under the influence of some unknown emotion, and his heartbeat, which was also beginning to accelerate and beat like a drum, which was very close to him.
That belongs to Zhou Jianxing.
The two heartbeats intertwined and resonated in the silent darkness, forming a steady, harmonious, and disturbing rhythm.
Like the lowest note of a church organ suddenly loosening at midnight, it vibrates not only the eardrum but also the unconverted desire deep in the bone marrow.
·
The silky fabrics rubbed against each other, and every slight rise and fall caused by breathing aroused waves of indescribable tingling sensation.
In the darkness, their body temperatures and breath blended together, forming an invisible, sticky, suffocating net.
Wen Lingyi's hand, which was originally placed on Zhou Jianxing's back to comfort him, was now ignited by the burning body temperature and subtle friction.
Her fingertips began to move uncontrollably and extremely slowly.
First, she gently and almost unconsciously caressed the inside of the other person's arm that was around her waist.
That's extremely sensitive skin.
Feeling Zhou Jianxing's body stiffen instantly and he took a low breath, Wen Lingyi's fingertips did not stop. Instead, they moved slowly and with burning temperature along the smooth and delicate lines of skin, as if playing a secret melody.
The fingertips slid across the inside of the elbow, brushed across the upper arm, and finally, through the thin cloth, landed on Zhou Jianxing's slightly protruding spinal joints.
The touch is delicate and full of vitality, like caressing the amniotic membrane of a newborn lamb.
His fingertips explored with an almost greedy desire, feeling the shape of the joints, the outline of her shoulder blades rising and falling with her breathing under the fabric, and the lines of her back muscles that suddenly tensed because of the sudden touch.
Every movement was a silent, possessive invitation.
Zhou Jianxing's body trembled violently under Wen Lingyi's touch.
It was no longer a tremor of fear, but a shudder brought by another, stranger and more turbulent wave sweeping over her body, and she was completely swallowed up by that wave.
She didn't push him away - perhaps she didn't dare, or perhaps she didn't want to.
She just buried her face deeper into Wen Lingyi's neck, almost suffocating her. Her warm breath became rapid and hot, spraying all over the most sensitive and fragile skin on the side of her neck.
The arm she was holding around Wen Lingyi's waist unconsciously tightened, and her fingertips even slightly sank into the other's soft waist, like a drowning person clinging to driftwood.
Wen Lingyi could clearly feel the equally surging desire in Zhou Jianxing's body that was almost about to burst out - hot blood was flowing under the tense muscles, and the disordered breathing and heavy heartbeat were silent cries and responses.
In the darkness, Wen Lingyi lowered her eyes slightly, her gaze falling on Zhou Jianxing's slightly trembling head.
The feeling of controlling the other person's emotions and arousing their passions made Wen Lingyi feel a strong, predatory sense of satisfaction from the bottom of her heart.
The last dam of rationality quietly collapsed in the silent entanglement of bodies and blending of breaths.
Wen Lingyi no longer hesitated.
She began to apply force with her hands on Zhou Jianxing's back, pressing their bodies together more tightly.
At the same time, she lowered her head slightly, and her hot lips accurately captured Zhou Jianxing's slightly open, equally hot lips.
"Um..." All of Zhou Jianxing's sobs and struggles were blocked.
It was a predatory and controlling kiss.
Wen Lingyi's tongue, with the momentum of conquering a city, forcefully pried open Zhou Jianxing's teeth, entangled with her clumsy tongue tip, absorbing the unique sweet scent of Zhou Jianxing.
The kissing technique was skillful and aggressive, with a frenzy of wanting to completely devour and mark Zhou Jianxing.
Zhou Jianxing's mind was blank, leaving only the dizzying numbness and suffocating feeling coming from between his lips and tongue.
She could only respond awkwardly, her body completely softening under Wen Lingyi's control.
Wen Lingyi's hands were no longer satisfied with just caressing through the fabric. With burning warmth, they moved upwards along Zhou Jianxing's slender waistline. Wherever they passed, the silky champagne-colored nightgown fabric was easily pushed up and lifted.
At the moment when those burning fingertips were about to pass over the nightgown straps and touch the forbidden skin on Zhou Jianxing's chest that no one had ever visited -
Zhou Jianxing's whole body suddenly stiffened.
A cold, hard touch suddenly hit her hot and sensitive collarbone. It was Wen Lingyi's wedding ring.
The icy touch was like a polar cold current, instantly penetrating the boiling flesh and blood and freezing all the flames of passion.
Zhou Jianxing opened his eyes wide as if struck by an electric current, and was violently dragged back to the cold reality from the abyss of intoxication.
The status difference and moral shackles brought about by the title "Mrs. Wen" became extremely clear and heavy at this moment.
She used up all her remaining strength and willpower, and pushed Wen Lingyi, who was covering her, away fiercely and almost desperately.
"No." The voice was filled with broken tears and struggle on the verge of collapse.
She curled up and backed away like a frightened hedgehog, her back hitting the cold headboard hard, her eyes filled with pain, shame and self-loathing.
"Mrs. Wen! You...you have a husband. You have a husband!" she screamed.
The sharp rejection pierced through the ambiguity. Wen Lingyi was caught off guard and pushed away. She fell to the edge of the bed, staring in astonishment at the trembling figure curled up in the darkness.
She has said everything she can, both good and bad, why is Zhou Jianxing still stuck on this dead end?
There was a brief silence.
Immediately, Wen Lingyi was filled with shame and anger at being rejected, as well as a desperate rage.
She sat up straight, and in the darkness her voice was frivolous, almost cruel and cold.
"What's wrong with having a husband?" She laughed harshly. "It's okay, Zhou Jianxing. If I don't look for you..." She paused deliberately, enunciating each word with venom and harshness, "I'll look for someone else."
These words were like a whip dipped in salt water, lashing Zhou Jianxing's trembling heart.
"Woo..." The little animal whimpered uncontrollably, as if it was hurt.
Immediately afterwards, Wen Lingyi clearly felt a few drops of cold liquid, with scalding temperature, falling on her bare arm. She looked up and saw tears rolling down Zhou Jianxing's eyes like pearls.
Zhou Jianxing cried.
The tears kept coming out, like a faucet was turned on.
The rain outside seemed to fall on her heart, the raindrops hitting her heart and making it ache. After a half-second delay, her consciousness shattered into a prism, each side reflecting her asshole.
How could she bear to hurt this little fool who loved so cautiously and desperately?
"Zhou Jianxing..." His voice softened instantly, filled with regret and heartache.
She groped her way over, and despite the slight resistance, she held up the tear-soaked face firmly but gently.
My fingertips touched something cold and slippery. My heart was gripped.
"I'm sorry..." Her voice softened, and she wiped away the tears with her fingertips very gently, her movements more cherished than ever before. "I'm sorry, little star... I said the wrong thing, I lied to you..."
She lowered her head and gently rested her forehead against Zhou Jianxing's forehead, their noses touching and their breaths mingling.
He lowered his voice very low, trying to comfort the other person carefully.
"I won't look for anyone else..." She paused, emphasized her tone, and promised solemnly, "I will only look for you."
Feeling the tense body in his arms relax a little, Wen Lingyi continued his efforts, his voice bewitching.
"As for my husband..." she said lightly, "Don't worry about him." She sneered indifferently, "He cheated on me a long time ago. We were just having our own affairs."
Finally, she slightly distanced herself and caught Zhou Jianxing's amber eyes, washed by tears and soaked in water, in the darkness.
The voice lowered even lower, with hypnotic temptation and naked invitation, each word scratching the last line of defense of rationality.
"Little Star..." His fingertips slid across Zhou Jianxing's sensitive collarbone again, with a slow, torturous teasing, "Don't you want me?"
The moment the words fell, Wen Lingyi made a move that made Zhou Jianxing's pupils shrink suddenly -
She raised her right hand and, without hesitation and almost roughly, took off the diamond ring on her left ring finger, which symbolized shackles.
"Ding——" a slight crisp sound.
The ring, which still reflected a cold light in the darkness, was thrown to the floor casually and contemptuously by Wen Lingyi as if it were a cheap trinket from a two-dollar store. It was instantly swallowed up by the darkness and disappeared.
It seemed that with this action, the huge gap between "morality" and "marriage" was also completely erased by her own hands.
The only sounds in the air were the two people's rapid breathing and the silent yet deafening aftermath of the ring falling to the ground.
