【Oh my, the bed is all made up. It looks so soft and cozy. My goodness, which little princess is here to experience life here again?】
[Yesterday, the dorm supervisor said he was an archaeology student who had taken a year off due to health issues and was only just returning to class.]
The other two were somewhat surprised when they heard the news.
[She's in the archaeology department! S University only admits one or two archaeology students each year, and she's in the archaeology department! She's in poor health? That means she'll have to take medicine every day! My goodness, I can't imagine what it's like to take medicine every day; it must be so miserable.]
Another person chimed in.
But how are we supposed to get along with her? I don't know if she's easy to get along with. I just hope she's not a weird roommate; I can't take another one.
The girl was referring to another girl who used to live in this dorm; she was practically an oddball.
Just a few days into freshman year, she brought a boy back to her dorm, and they played video games shirtless at night, yelling at the top of their lungs. What's worse, the girls never cleaned; their clothes and socks piled up for a week without anyone cleaning, causing the other three girls a lot of trouble.
She was warned once, but she mocked the other three, saying they were just servants who only knew how to do chores, and that someone like her, who considered herself a princess, couldn't possibly do these things.
She would bring different boys back to her dorm every other week, and even after the three of them were reported to the counselor and the dorm supervisor, it was to no avail. She outwardly complied, but in reality, she continued to disregard the situation until last semester when I heard that she had run off with a rich man.
She didn't even want her degree anymore. After a while, she would come back, pack her things, and leave again, disappearing without a trace.
The three, feeling uncomfortable, insisted on changing dormitories. Just then, a new dormitory was completed, and the three became the first to move in, leaving the dormitory empty.
The bed, which had been occupied for a semester, has now found its new owner.
Yun Nuan was so embarrassed outside that she couldn't put her hand down. How could she break the awkward situation? Could she say that she had just barged in and was already standing outside the door, having heard their entire conversation? Would that ease the embarrassment a little?
Obviously not. Finally, the people inside changed the subject. She had finished preparing herself mentally, looked at Qin Yan, and saw his encouraging eyes. She knocked on the door in one go.
"Who is it!" The person inside seemed startled, and their voice rose considerably.
Yun Nuan carefully clutched her heart; she had been a little frightened, thank goodness.
The half-open door was pulled open from the inside, and a sudden burst of light allowed the three people inside to see the two people standing in the doorway.
One was a man with broad shoulders, long legs, exquisitely handsome features, and a noble air. He was so tall that everyone had to look up to see him clearly.
One was a girl who was almost a head and a half shorter, with long flowing hair, wearing a princess hat and a long coat with a fuzzy trim around the collar, which made her face look even smaller.
She looks just like a porcelain doll! That was the first thought that came to all three of them at the same time. Her little face smiled, revealing a pair of adorable dimples. She was so cute, her face looked so pinchable!
The person inside had forgotten why they came to open the door; their eyes were fixed on the girl, and even Qin Yan was ignored.
"Hello, is this dormitory 310? My name is Yun Nuan, and I'm an archaeology student." Yun Nuan introduced herself first, with Qin Yan gently squeezing her palm as a gesture.
She finished her introduction somewhat nervously, afraid that her smile wouldn't be perfect, and tried her best to maintain it, until her cheeks felt slightly sore.
The three people opposite finally realized what was happening, and the two who were sitting in their seats stood up and started greeting each other.
"Hello, my name is Li Jinyu, and I'm a Chinese literature major." Li Jinyu has long, straight black hair, which she half-tied up with a hairpin, giving her a comfortable and gentle look.
The next two then began to introduce themselves in turn.
The girl with the high ponytail has sharp eyes and a cheerful, generous smile. Her name is Yu Zhi. The other girl with slightly curly chestnut hair is the girl-next-door type. She looks lively and clever. Her name is Xu Lianyue.
After the introductions were finished, everyone turned their attention to Qin Yan, who had been standing to the side for a long time watching them greet her.
There's no other reason than that this man was simply overwhelming. He wore a long black coat over a complete iron-gray suit, exuding an elite, ascetic aura. He was mature and composed, but his presence was intimidating, and it was clear that he wasn't from their school.
Silence...and more silence.
The dormitory environment is very good. It was built not long ago, and all the facilities are still brand new. The dormitory has a large living space, with bunk beds and desks underneath, so everyone has their own independent little space.
There's a door at the very back, which, when opened, leads to the balcony. To the right of the balcony is the bathroom. The balcony is quite large; it could easily accommodate at least four people.
After Qin Yan finished looking them over, he realized that none of the four of them were speaking. In particular, Yun Nuan's eyes were filled with confusion, and her smile had become stiff.
He chuckled and reached out to help her recover, speaking in a deep voice.
"They're asking me who I am. Can you introduce myself?"
Yun Nuan, finally realizing what he meant, quickly introduced, "Hello, this is my boyfriend, Qin Yan. He's just here to help me move into my new dorm and will be leaving soon. I hope he hasn't bothered you."
"Oh my!" The three women instantly exclaimed, their maternal love overflowing, waving their hands with beaming smiles.
No, no.
This is what polite people are like. They even explained and felt embarrassed to them. They just hoped that their next roommate wouldn't be as weird as their previous one. The three of them thought wearily.
After listening to Yun Nuan's introduction, Qin Yan smiled broadly, then pulled his suitcase and led the people inside.
"Hello, I hope you'll take good care of me from now on."
The three nodded in unison, feeling somewhat immune to handsome men for the first time. Qin Yan was very handsome, hundreds of times better looking than any of the male celebrities they had previously voted for out of boredom. But strangely enough, they only saw Yun Nuan.
Her bed was cleaned up, and her suitcase contained only a few sets of clothes, some food and toys, and some medicine.
Qin Yan packed all of this. The apartment is right next to S University, and he could bring other things over anytime, so he just packed these.
The sky-blue blankets and curtains, along with a purple plush pillow, were similar to what she wore at home.
Qin Yan placed the food on her table and asked her to sit down and finish eating. Then she handed the other snacks to the three of them.
The three girls were embarrassed, so Yun Nuan quickly explained how good Aunt Lan's cooking was and hoped they could try it.
