Chapter 107 At Least She Likes Him Now (1/2)

Chapter 107 At least now she likes him

On a summer night in the suburbs, the daytime heat dissipates a little.

In the piano room, the girl finished playing the piano for the day, slowly stood up, and walked towards the French window.

She lowered her head, the bright moonlight was shining, and the courtyard was empty like a pool of water.

But she was not calm at all.

She was a little nervous because the performance spot was not released yet.

But she had nowhere to express her nervousness.

She became the youngest player to win the Xiao tournament, a title that had remained elusive for 15 years. In the eyes of others, she was full of glory.

It’s my great honor to be able to participate in this performance.

If she can't attend, there will be opportunities in the future. After all, she is still young.

Her current anxiety seemed like Versailles to others.

But as a pianist, she really wants to stand on the world stage and perform with those top performers.

So she could only silently dispel these anxious emotions.

Suddenly, the cell phone rang.

She lowered her eyes to look at her phone, and when she saw the caller ID, she couldn't help but curl her eyes.

Her fingertips lightly touched the answer button, "He Zhimo."

"Is Susu practicing the piano?" The man's voice was deep and particularly pleasant to the ear.

She nodded. "Just finished practicing the piano. Now I'm looking at the stars."

"Well, the stars are beautiful," the man whispered. "We're not nervous about the selection process. Susu is so great, it's your chance, and it will definitely be you. Now it's your turn, you just need to practice piano more."

She was stunned. He could actually feel her anxiety. "Yeah, I know."

During this period, she practiced the piano all day long.

In fact, she had thought about going to find He Zhimo. After all, no matter how busy she was, it was not difficult to take two hours to meet with him.

But when they said goodbye that day, he asked her to practice the piano.

In the dark night, the moon is dim and the stars are sparse.

She looked up at the stars twinkling in the night sky, "He Zhimo, I miss you."

The man was silent for a moment, "Yeah."

She was stunned for a second, and just said "Hmm"?

Then the man said again, "I'm driving."

She held the phone between her slender white fingers. The only sounds on the other end were breathing and the occasional honking of a horn.

She whispered, "Then I'll hang up first."

She hung up the phone and looked down at it, feeling uncomfortable.

She just said she missed him, and he didn't even know how to say 'I miss you too'?

You idiot, don’t you even know how to have a love relationship?

Or, he really didn't miss her and wouldn't lie.

Thinking about it, I feel bad again.

She picked up her cell phone, went to the bedroom, and prepared to take a shower and go to bed.

The bathroom was filled with mist and the shower was running.

Tang Susu came out wearing a nightgown and a towel wrapped around her head.

She was about to blow dry her hair when her cell phone rang.

She saw the caller ID and was stunned for a few seconds.

The man just called, why is he calling again?

She tapped the call with her fingertips, "He Zhimo?"

"I'm downstairs at your place." The man said in a deep voice.

She was dazed, her long hair still dripping with water. "What?"

"I'm downstairs at your place." The man said word by word.

She suddenly woke up.

He Zhimo arrived downstairs of her house?

It turned out that she had just missed him, and he actually came directly to see her.

She just came out of the bathroom. She didn't even have time to blow dry her hair. She just wiped it with a quick-drying towel and ran out.

Across the road, a black Lexus pulled up. A tall, slender man in black was standing quietly under a tree by the roadside.

The evening breeze blew, and the girl's long hair fluttered in the wind as she ran all the way.

"He Zhimo!"

The man bent down, opened his arms, and hugged the girl in his arms, "Slow down."

He lowered his eyes, the girl's long hair was scattered, exuding the fresh scent of shampoo, and his fingertips felt soft. He suppressed the blood in his throat and waved away those charming thoughts.

He noticed her half-dried long hair and asked, "Why don't you blow-dry your hair before coming out?"

Tang Susu poked her head out from the man's arms, her almond eyes curved, "I miss seeing you!"

The man lowered his head. The girl's teddy bear nightgown was below her knees, covering her body tightly. However, she smiled at him gently with her eyes curved. His fingers stiffened, and the emotion he had just suppressed came flooding back.

He restrained himself and loosened his embrace.

I know I can’t hug you anymore.

After suppressing his emotions for so many years, he didn't know what he would do to her once the floodgates opened.

"I'll go dry your hair with that towel" He turned around and went to the car.
