Chapter 18 The Delicate Beauty Flower
At the end of September, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the entire city.
On Saturday morning, the bright sunshine quietly poured into the bedroom. Tang Susu bent over the desk, reviewing her lessons seriously.
After finishing her English review, she looked down at her watch and saw that it was almost 12 noon.
She touched her lower abdomen with her slender fingers. She didn't feel hungry just now, but now she is so hungry!
She closed her textbook and hurried downstairs to find something to eat.
In the restaurant, it seemed that someone was already eating.
She walked over and was stunned.
The plate was a mess and lunch was almost finished.
The Tang family of three were having lunch and were stunned when they saw Tang Susu.
Zhou Wei reacted the fastest and stood up quickly, "Susu, you're home. I thought you weren't home today! Didn't you have dinner?"
She glanced at the leftovers and said, "What do you want to eat? Auntie will cook it for you."
Tang Susu ignored her. She stood there, staring at Tang Honghou who was sitting there without saying a word with her clear eyes.
After a while, Tang Honghou couldn't stand being stared at by his daughter anymore, and slammed his chopsticks on the table.
He felt a little guilty, but more so because he was truly justified. "Who knew you were home? You didn't come out all morning."
Tang Susu suddenly wanted to laugh. She glanced at the entrance and said lightly, "I'm not home. Can't you see the shoes in the entrance?"
Some people are deliberately turning a blind eye.
Some people just don't care.
Tang Hong chuckled and raised his voice considerably, "You're being unreasonable! It's time to eat, don't you know to come down on your own? You're already grown up, and you still need someone to call you to eat?"
Tang Susu didn't say anything.
She looked at him intently.
Turned around and went upstairs.
Girl's bedroom.
Tang Susu picked up her schoolbag, carefully put the books she needed to review in it, and went downstairs with the schoolbag on her back.
Downstairs living room.
Tang Honghou sat on the sofa. Seeing Tang Susu come out with her schoolbag, he immediately stood up and asked, "Where are you going? Your aunt is making you a new meal."
Tang Susu glanced at the kitchen, where she heard the sound of cooking. "No, I'm going to eat outside and then go to a classmate's house to review."
"Tang Susu, what are you doing? Didn't I just forget to call you to eat? With your grades, you still want to review with your classmates? Your aunt has already cooked, eat first, and then leave." Tang Honghou's face was not very good.
"No, the kitchen is full of smoke. I'd rather not bother you. I'll just eat outside." Tang Susu walked straight to the entrance and lowered her head to change her shoes.
"Tang Susu, don't be so arrogant!" Tang Honghou yelled.
Tang Susu paused for a moment while holding her shoes, and without paying any attention to Tang Honghou's words, she put on her shoes.
Come out of the community.
The bright sunshine was not dimmed at all because of her mood.
Tang Susu tugged at the strap of her schoolbag with her fingers, not knowing where to go for a moment.
She bought a loaf of bread in the neighborhood and walked aimlessly with her schoolbag on her back.
Before I knew it, I arrived near He Zhimo's residence.
She hesitated for a while and entered the community.
On the sixth floor, she stood at the door and knocked gently.
The door was opened quickly.
A handsome young man, with a pale face and a limp, was leaning against the door.
She pointed to the pink schoolbag on her shoulder and looked at him, "Can I come study with you?"
She didn't wait for him to speak and whispered, "Don't reject me, okay."
He Zhimo lowered his eyes. The lively girl from the past now looked listless, like a homeless little elk, with wet eyes that looked pitiful.
He leaned over, "Come in."
Tang Susu gently put down her schoolbag and found a place to sit down.
She put her hands on the desk, her head resting lightly on her hands.
Although she is not Tang Susu herself, it would be a lie to say that she is not sad.
Tang Honghou's different treatment reminded her of her own parents.
Although her mother was very strict with her, she also loved her and would never forget to feed her a meal.
"Tang Susu."
She looked up.
He Zhimo held a glass in his slender hand and handed over a glass of water.
She took the water and held the cup in both hands. It was warm.
She curled her eyes and said, "Thank you."
He Zhimo didn't say anything, just sat quietly on the side.
