Chapter 29 Jealousy
The campus is quiet, with only the occasional chirping of cicadas.
The shadows of the trees swayed in the wind, the lights in the classrooms were on, and the senior high school students were having evening self-study.
Tang Susu accompanied He Zhimo on the campus path for a while, feeling the campus atmosphere.
Suddenly, she seemed to remember something and shouted, "Oh no!"
She actually forgot that she had run away at the last minute.
The results of the competition have not yet been announced, and her coat and other things are still backstage.
She was the last to appear, and the game might be over by now.
Don't be like those classmates who left last and threw her things away as if they were useless.
She had to go back quickly.
She looked up at He Zhimo, "He Zhimo, the game isn't over yet, I have something in the auditorium, can you accompany me there?"
He Zhimo refused. He didn't want to go to school. School was nothing to him.
My memory is full of bad past.
He spoke in a deep voice and only said, "I'll wait for you here."
Tang Susu didn't expect that even after He Zhimo came to school, he was still so resistant to seeing his classmates.
She couldn't force him, so she just nodded and said, "Well, okay."
She was anxious to get back to the auditorium and ran out quickly.
But after just two steps, she turned back.
She raised her head, her clear eyes looking at He Zhimo seriously, "You said you would wait for me, so you have to wait for me. Don't run away as soon as I turn around, understand?"
The wind blows gently across my face.
She stretched out her hand, and with her slender fingers, she gently hooked her little finger around the boy's little finger.
"Let's make a promise. For a hundred years, no changes are allowed, and no one is allowed to escape. Do you understand?"
She looked at He Zhimo and nodded, then she lifted her skirt and ran towards the auditorium with confidence.
auditorium.
The lights are bright.
Standing in the center of the stage were school leaders and many contestants.
The competition is over and the awards ceremony is coming to an end.
Jin Yuhao was standing in the center of the podium, holding the results of the competition in his slender fingers. "First place in this English speech competition,"
He paused for several seconds, his cold eyes searching the crowd for a long time. When he saw the girl, he slowly spoke, "Tang Susu."
When Tang Susu rushed to the auditorium, she heard her name called.
Fortunately, she arrived in time.
She breathed a sigh of relief, pushed through the crowd, and ran towards the stage.
There were stairs in front of the stage. She ran too fast and lost her balance. Her skirt tripped, her foot twisted, and she was about to fall forward.
The next second, a pair of bony hands held her firmly.
She looked up and met a pair of cold eyes, and was stunned for two seconds.
She stood up and said, "Thank you."
She let go of Jin Yuhao's hand, steadied her breath, and walked towards the center of the stage.
This little incident did not affect the award ceremony.
Tang Susu stood there, watching the school leaders hang the first-place medal around her neck in complete disbelief.
She had thought she might win a prize, but she didn't expect to come in first.
Unexpectedly, she rushed back and actually won first place.
After presenting the awards, the school leaders gave a brief summary speech.
The competition was a complete success.
The students and teachers left one after another.
The contestants also left the field one after another.
Tang Susu lowered her head, touched the medal, and smiled gently with her eyes curved.
She went backstage because she had a lot of things to pack.
Backstage in the empty auditorium, she took her clothes and bag and prepared to leave.
"Tang Susu!"
Suddenly someone called her from behind.
