Chapter 15 Nothing's wrong

Mr. Jiang pressed Mrs. Jiang down on the sofa: "Oh, wife, it's obvious that Zaozao hasn't been resting well lately. The child is sleeping soundly now, so just let her sleep. Anyway, she doesn't have to go to school now."

Upon hearing this, Aunt Jiang frowned and said, "What nonsense are you talking about? She doesn't need to go to school, but she needs to take the college entrance examination! The way you're talking makes it sound like she dropped out of school. Can't you speak properly? If you can't speak properly, then get out of here."

Father Jiang took advantage of the situation and hugged Mother Jiang tightly: "It's just today. Think about it, your illness alone is enough to make the child worry for several days. Including me, I'm still worried right now. Besides, she just had a car accident. Let her rest."

"There's no rush for studying, right? The child's health is the most important thing."

Upon hearing this, Aunt Jiang didn't say anything more.

He snorted and lay back down on the sofa.

I want to eat grapes.

Father Jiang immediately stood up: "Alright, Your Majesty, please wait a moment. This servant will be right back."

Aunt Jiang chuckled: "Do you know that the Empress Dowager only became Empress Dowager after her husband got angry?"

Father Jiang paused, "A slip of the tongue, Your Majesty, please wait a moment!"

He turned around and ran to the kitchen to wash grapes for his wife.

Jiang slept like a log.

Mr. and Mrs. Jiang sat on the sofa watching TV and chatting, waiting for the test results to come out.

Mr. Jiang: "Wife, I still don't understand why the report from a few days ago clearly stated that it was mid-stage stomach cancer, but today's checkup showed that there was no problem."

Aunt Jiang spat out a mouthful of grape skins: "What, is it okay if there's no problem?"

Mr. Jiang massaged Mrs. Jiang's feet: "It's not that it's bad, but there must be some reason for it. I can't figure it out, so I keep thinking about it."

"Could it be that the previous hospital misdiagnosed me?!"

Jiang's mother shook her head: "It shouldn't be, because I followed the reports from the beginning and end the other day, and I'm very sure I didn't get the wrong report. Besides, I did have those symptoms of stomach cancer before."

Mr. Jiang couldn't understand: "Then what happened today? She was vomiting blood this morning, but suddenly she was fine by noon. Honey, you have no idea, it almost scared Zaozao and me to death today."

Jiang's mother patted Jiang's father's head: "We're waiting for the report to come out tonight. We should have the results by then."

Mr. Jiang nodded and then began to massage Mrs. Jiang's legs and feet.

Jiang woke up at 7 p.m.

Jiang Zao looked at the dark room and was startled. She quickly sat up. Waking up from her afternoon nap and not being able to sleep until dark was quite lonely.

Jiang Zao, feigning seriousness, leaned on her cane and walked out of the room.

I saw my parents staring seriously at the phone on the coffee table.

Jiang Zao walked over curiously.

"Mom and Dad? What are you doing?"

Jiang's mother slowly turned her head to look at Jiang Zao.

After staring at him for two minutes, Jiang was already getting really creeped out.

Before Aunt Jiang could speak, she said, "Zaozao, come here."

Jiang Zao limped to the sofa, and had just sat down when...

"What's wrong? Why are you so serious?"

Jiang's mother handed her phone to Jiang Zao: "Take a look, this is my medical report from today."

Jiang Zao took the phone and opened the examination report.

It was obvious that Jiang Zao couldn't understand these technical terms.

However, after carefully flipping through the document, she saw the words "in excellent health" on the last page.

Jiang Zao happily looked up at her parents.

Mom! You're all better now!

Father Jiang breathed a sigh of relief and nodded with satisfaction, his nose turning red: "It seems that my wife is really alright, that's great!"

Jiang Zao happily wiggled her little body.

Aunt Jiang pouted, completely baffled as to what was going on.

Then I heard,

Jiang Zao's happy voice: "It seems that the potion is really effective!"

Jiang's mother and father suddenly realized!

That's right!

The only variable in this process is the anti-cancer drug reagent.

Aunt Jiang blinked in shock: "Zaozao, what exactly does your classmate's brother do?"

Jiang Zao readily spouted lies: "I've said it before, they specialize in anti-cancer research, and this drug is their achievement."

Father Jiang asked anxiously, "That must be very expensive, how could you be so comfortable giving it to such a young child like you?"

Jiang Zao paused for a moment: "Um, Dad, this reagent is a sample that someone gave me. We still need to send Mom's test report back to them."

Jiang's mother understood and slapped Jiang Zao: "So, you're using your mother as a guinea pig?!"

Jiang Zao grinned and said, "Mom, when you're desperate, you'll try anything."

"Besides, didn't we succeed? You're exceptionally healthy now."

Jiang's mother was still a little uneasy: "This medicine works too fast. Could it be a hormone drug? Does this medicine have any side effects? I even vomited blood this morning."

Upon hearing this, Jiang's father also became anxious: "That's right, Zaozao, you should quickly call and ask your classmate's brother, just in case he has any problems with what he eats."

Jiang Zao waved her hand: "No, Mom and Dad, I've already asked them. Vomiting blood is normal. After the anti-cancer reagent enters the body, it will quickly repair the body and automatically shed the bad stuff inside. Once the bad stuff is shed, it will naturally be expelled from the body."

"Everyone's symptoms are different. Some people vomit blood, some may have diarrhea, and some may have a lot of pimples as a way of excreting. Different people have different ways of excreting. After excretion, the body will feel better."

Jiang Zao relayed the system's message to her parents in a very detailed and engaging manner.

They didn't see at all the increasingly dark faces on Jiang's parents' faces.

Jiang's mother stepped forward first and pinched Jiang Zao's ear.

Jiang Zao was startled by the sudden attack and hurriedly shouted, "Mom! What are you doing!"

With her hands on her hips, Jiang's mother pinched Jiang Zao's ear: "So, you know everything, but you just didn't tell your dad and mom, huh! Your dad and I were worried sick all day, and you were sleeping soundly!"

Father Jiang added fuel to the fire, righteously indignant: "Exactly!"

Jiang Zao cried and begged for forgiveness: "Mom, I just forgot! And I only asked after you left. He didn't tell me you would vomit blood before!"

Jiang's mother snorted and ignored Jiang Zao's ear.

"You're really carefree; you almost scared your dad and me to death."

Father Jiang: "Exactly!"

Jiang Zaozao pouted, "I really forgot, Mom~"

Aunt Jiang: "Fine, I'll let you off this time since you did something worthwhile. But don't do it again next time."

Father Jiang: "Exactly!"

Jiang Zao: "Mom, there will absolutely not be a next time! I swear!"

Father Jiang: "Exactly!"

Jiang's mother turned around and pinched Jiang's father's ear: "You're just never going to stop, are you!"

Father Jiang sobbed, "Wife, I'm on your side! How could you accidentally shoot friendly fire?"

Aunt Jiang, hands on her hips, snapped, "Go cook!"
