"That's Zhou Lixin, the educated youth!"
Su He was stunned. She hadn't expected it to be him. He was the one who had gotten close to her earlier.

"Does the village chief know about this? Did his family agree to it?"
Su Miao shook her head. "They don't know. I heard it from Su Dong. She was bragging to me that her sister was going to marry a city man too. Pshaw, no matter how good Zhou Zhiqing is, he can't compare to my brother-in-law."
Su He smiled when she heard this.
However, he still instructed, "Alright, just pretend you don't know anything about this, and don't tell anyone else."
Su Miao nodded. "I know. I don't like that Zhou Zhiqing. He even tried to get close to Hongya before, but Hongya ignored him after Grandma told her to."
"oh?"
Su He frowned upon hearing this. Su Hong was only 17 years old after the New Year. If he was already trying to seduce someone at such a young age, he was clearly not a good person. This made Su He's impression of Zhou Zhiqing even worse.
After the meal, she secretly told Grandma Su about it.
Grandma Su scoffed upon hearing this, "They probably think they've kept it a secret. Everyone in the village knows. I even talked to the village chief's wife about it before, but she not only wouldn't listen, she thought we were trying to ruin their good marriage. I don't want to get involved anymore."
Su He sighed upon hearing this. Sure enough, the village was so big that nothing could be kept secret. Since the family was willing, she decided not to interfere.
But when she and Lin Jingyan left, they ran into Su Chun and Zhou Zhiqing on their way out of the village.
The atmosphere between the two seemed ambiguous. Su He didn't want to pay attention to them, so she nodded as a greeting and was about to leave. After all, she had only focused on studying before and wasn't very familiar with Su Chun.
For some reason, the girl walked up to her after seeing her and said, "Heya, you're back? Why are you leaving so soon? Are you pregnant? Your boyfriend doesn't seem to care about you. He should at least let you stay at home for a day before you leave. You finally come back."
At this point, she pulled the person next to her over.
"Oh right, you don't know yet, do you? This is Zhou Lixin, a former educated youth in the village, and also my boyfriend."
She seemed a little embarrassed as she said this, but she still looked directly at her, as if wanting to see her reaction.
However, Su He was puzzled by her actions and didn't know why she was suddenly saying so much, but she still nodded and said, "Congratulations."
