It was already evening when the two returned to the courtyard.
Because she was preoccupied with buying books, Su He insisted on taking a bunch of things with her and Lin Jingyan to the bookstore after getting off the bus.
Fortunately, Lin Jingyan had a good memory. The bookstore had relevant books, but they probably weren't easy to sell and hadn't sold out yet, so they were able to buy them successfully.

Interestingly, when she changed into her police uniform, put on her police hat, and pushed her bicycle out with Lin Jingyan, they ran into Sister Kong, who had just finished cooking.
She was stunned when she saw Su He's outfit.
"Xiao Su, what's going on?"
Su He smiled at her and said, "Did Sister Kong just finish cooking? I'm going to work. My workplace is a bit far from here, so I have to go there early."
"What? You work at the police station? You're a police officer?"
