Chapter Eight: Fifty Thousand Wedding Candies!
The two rested after finishing their dinner.
The next morning at seven o'clock, the sun was shining brightly. In the bedroom, Xu Wang was clinging to Pei Yanchuan like an octopus, with one leg draped over Pei Yanchuan's leg and the other arm across Pei Yanchuan's chest.
Pei Yanchuan quickly opened his eyes because of his biological clock, which he had maintained for many years.
Pei Yanchuan looked down and saw Xu Wang still sleeping.
Pei Yanchuan gently adjusted Xu Wang's position. As soon as Pei Yanchuan got off the bed, Xu Wang, who had been lying on the bed, suddenly sat up.
Xu Wang stretched and said, "You're up so early."
Pei Yanchuan turned his head and saw his partner sitting cross-legged on the bed, looking a little confused.
Pei Yanchuan walked up to Xu Wang and said, "If you're sleepy, take a nap."
"It's alright, I'm not that sleepy either, maybe I slept too long yesterday." Xu Wang's eyes were much clearer as he looked at Pei Yanchuan in front of him.
"Let's get up together. I have to go to the company today because I'm going to participate in a variety show in the next few days, so I need to make work arrangements in advance." Pei Yanchuan took Xu Wang's hand and they went to the bathroom to wash up.
After washing up, the two had a simple breakfast.
After they finished eating, Pei Yanchuan put the two people's bowls, chopsticks, and cups into the dishwasher and then into the sterilizer.
Pei Yanchuan went to the entrance hall and changed into his leather shoes: "Then I'll go to the company first."

As the door closed, Xu Wang walked to the sunniest spot in the living room, took a deep breath, and squatted down with his legs slightly apart. On the other side, Pei Yanchuan drove past the candy store and stopped directly.
The candy store is decorated in pink and cute colors both inside and out.
Pei Yanchuan locked the car and went inside.
"Hello, are you buying candy for your child?" The shop owner greeted the customer warmly.
"How much candy do you have in your store?" Pei Yanchuan stood up straight, his gaze sweeping over the entire candy store. The candy store didn't look very big, and Pei Yanchuan thought about the number of people in his company, feeling that one dessert shop might not be enough.
"Huh?" The shop owner was stunned for a moment. How much candy did he have in the shop? Did this gentleman have a lot of children? But even if he had a lot of children, he couldn't possibly eat all the candy in the shop, right?
“I need a lot of sugar,” Pei Yanchuan said again, seemingly sensing his boss’s skepticism.
"How much would you like, sir?" The shopkeeper picked up a small notebook from the side.
“Ten pills make one serving, and I need about 50,000 servings.” Pei Yanchuan wasn’t particularly familiar with the exact number of employees in the company, so he could only give an approximate number.
The boss's pen fell straight from his hand. How much? Fifty thousand portions? Five hundred thousand candies?
The employees in the surrounding candy stores were also taken aback; 500,000 candies!
"Can you take orders here?" Pei Yanchuan asked the shop owner who was picking up a pen.

"Do you have any packaging boxes in your store? I'd like to have each candy packaged individually," Pei Yanchuan said again, remembering Xu Wang's instructions.
"Of course, sir. Here are several different styles of packaging boxes in our store. Which one would you like to use?" The shop owner led Pei Yanchuan to a shelf.
Pei Yanchuan looked at the several boxes in front of him and finally chose a red one with a bow.
Pei Yanchuan paid the money directly, left the company's address, and arranged with the boss to deliver it before 5 p.m. Then he left with a box of wedding candy that the employee had just packaged.
"Quickly, quickly, tell all the branch store employees to gather at the main store. We have a big order today." The candy store owner hurriedly started giving orders after seeing Pei Yanchuan leave.
When Pei Yanchuan arrived at the company, his assistant had been waiting for him for a long time.
"President Pei." Pei Yanchuan's assistant is an alpha surnamed Yang, and everyone calls him Assistant Yang.

The two entered the private elevator and went directly to the top-floor office.
"President Pei, this is the information you asked me to investigate that land." Assistant Yang followed Pei Yanchuan into the office.

"President Pei, you were right. Your father is still investing more money in this land." Assistant Yang said respectfully with a smile on his face. President Pei is indeed President Pei; he has everything under control.
“That’s normal. After all, when a starving wolf finally sees a piece of fat meat, how could it not want to swallow the whole thing?” Pei Yanchuan’s voice was icy cold, and the aura of a top alpha emanated from him.
Assistant Yang quickly lowered his head: "If President Pei has nothing else, I'll head out now."
After finishing his sentence, Assistant Yang prepared to leave the office quietly.
Unlike before, before he could even turn around completely, Pei Yanchuan suddenly called out to him.
"Is there anything else you need, Mr. Pei?" Assistant Yang turned his head with a puzzled look.
Pei Yanchuan pushed the box he had just placed on the table toward the other person.
Assistant Yang picked up the festive red box on the table with a bewildered look: "President Pei, what is this?"
Assistant Yang was actually a little puzzled when he first saw the box downstairs. Was the boss going to give it to someone as a gift?
"Wedding candy." Pei Yanchuan looked up, his face serious.
"Wedding candy?" Assistant Yang didn't react immediately.
"Yes, I'm getting married. This is for your wedding candy. Of course, everyone in the company will receive some too, but the candy won't be delivered until 5 pm. Please bring someone to pick it up then and make sure everyone gets their candy." After saying this, Pei Yanchuan turned his attention back to his computer and began working.
"Congratulations, boss! Wishing you and your wife a happy marriage and a long and happy life together!" Assistant Yang was very clever and reacted quickly.
"Hmm." Pei Yanchuan smiled.
Assistant Yang carried the wedding candies out of the office and returned to his workstation.
The seats in the assistant's office were all open, and as soon as Assistant Yang came out, everyone's eyes were on him and the small red box in his hand.
"Assistant Yang, what's this in your hand?" a female colleague asked him curiously.
"These are wedding candies the boss gave me." Assistant Yang didn't hide it from anyone, since according to the boss's instructions, everyone would receive them this afternoon.
"Wedding candy? I've never heard of this kind of candy before." The female colleague's eyes were full of curiosity.
The other colleagues around who heard this also quietly pricked up their ears.
"President Pei is getting married, so he bought some wedding candy for us to share in the joy. You should be able to receive it this afternoon," Assistant Yang said with a smile.
"Really? Is it real? President Pei is getting married!" Everyone got excited.
"Ah, I remember now. A colleague from the investment department told me before that President Pei had signed President Pei up for a wedding variety show. At the time, I thought she was lying to me." The female colleague suddenly widened her eyes.
"I'm so curious about who this boss's wife is. How did she manage to win over our CEO Pei?"
