Chapter 273 Extra: Baby Zong (11)
Jiang Xiubai's inner voice was frantically shaking its head in refusal, but when he saw the bright eyes of the two people in front of him, the words of refusal stuck in his throat and he couldn't say them.
Jiang Xiubai reached out and gently poked the large worm in front of him. Hmm, it actually seems quite soft.
After Jiang Xiubai took his first step, he suddenly felt his fear of the insects vanish instantly, and he kept poking at them with his hand.
As Dian Dian watched her uncle keep poking her beloved pet, her expression gradually changed from a smile to anxiety.
"Susu, stop poking! If you keep poking, Daqing will die!" Diandian was so anxious that he didn't even pay attention to his own pronunciation as he worriedly protected the big green worm in his hand.
Yunxi quickly took a step back while holding the little one.
The two looked at Jiang Xiubai warily.
Seeing this, Jiang Xiubai withdrew his hand somewhat guiltily. Wasn't this the first time he had touched her? He was just a little curious. Next time, he wouldn't do it again.

"Congratulations to all the children for receiving your cards. Now we're going to announce what each group of guest teachers received for lunch." The director clapped his hands.
The assistant director brought out a white answer board with four pictures of delicious food on it, each one looking incredibly tempting.
Xu Wang took out the card from Pei Yi's bag and compared it with the picture in front of him. He raised an eyebrow. Sure enough, the card and the picture had absolutely nothing in common.
Xu Wang suddenly felt that the director was already being very considerate by having them find the cards. If they had been asked to guess lunch directly from the cards, they would have been out of luck.
The other groups also noticed the difference between the cards and the pictures. They took a deep breath; the difference was simply too great.
The director didn't notice the strange expressions on their faces; he assumed they were admiring his 'superb' painting skills.
"Teachers, why don't you guess first?" The director rubbed his hands together expectantly, looking at Xu Wang and the others in front of him.
"No, no, no!" Xia Yu waved her hands in terror.
"No need!" Gu Yunlan replied instantly.
"The main problem is that your drawing skills have improved so much, Director. It's far too easy for us, and it doesn't showcase your superb skills at all. Next time, when you come up with something a little harder, we'll guess again." Xu Wang lied without batting an eye.
Upon hearing Xu Wang's words, the director's face instantly lit up with a smile. He proudly puffed out his chest and said, "That's true. Then let's begin announcing everyone's lunch."
As the director turned to walk towards the whiteboard, Xia Yu, Yun Xi, Jiang Xiubai, Qin Huai, and Gu Yunlan all turned to look at Xu Wang.
"No, are you serious? Are you suggesting the director make it even harder next time?" Yunxi whispered, voicing the doubts in everyone's minds.
“Of course I’m serious. We can’t even recognize the director’s drawing. What difference would it make to us if he drew it a little more difficult? Besides, how can he distract us if I don’t say this?” Xu Wang replied quietly, turning his head to the side.
"Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! How come I didn't think of that?" Yunxi looked at Xu Wang with admiration.
The others nodded in agreement when they heard Xu Wang's answer. Indeed, no matter how difficult the director's drawing was, the final result was the same for them.
"Congratulations to Teacher Xu and Teacher Pei for winning a plate of braised prawns." The director took the picture of braised prawns off the board and handed it to Xu Wang.
"Shrimp?" Pei Yi looked at the picture of his favorite food in front of him, a big question mark appearing on his cute little face.
Xu Wang and Pei Yanchuan's lips twitched. So the circle was a plate, and the intersecting arcs were shrimp.
Seeing this, Gu Yunlan gently took the card from her chubby son's hand and looked at it. Their curved lines were shrimp, so what were our rectangles? Pastries? Tofu?
Yunxi and Xia Yu did the same thing. They picked up the cards in their hands. What do the circles and ovals on their cards represent?
Before the three could figure it out, the director had already solved the mystery for them.
"Congratulations to Teacher Gu and Teacher Qin for winning a plate of braised pork."
"Congratulations to Teacher Jiang and Teacher Yun for winning a plate of Four Happiness Meatballs."
"Congratulations to Teacher Xia and Teacher Hou for winning a plate of roasted chicken wings."
The three people stared wide-eyed at the picture of the actual object. "Does the director only draw shapes now?"
We ate lunch together in the courtyard.
The production team thoughtfully prepared nutritious and beautifully presented children's meals for the kids.
Pei Yi still ate the food he didn't like on his plate first before slowly enjoying the food he liked.
His steady eating style contrasted sharply with Pei Yi's, as he devoured all the meat on his plate.
"Wenwen, make sure you finish all the vegetables." Gu Yunlan routinely fed Wenwen vegetables.
Wenwen wanted to refuse, but he felt his little dad's gaze beside him, and his chubby little face couldn't help but wrinkle up.
Wenwen's little eyes darted around, and when he saw the food left on Pei Yi's plate, his eyes suddenly lit up.
"Little brother, let's exchange the vegetables and mud from my kennel!"
Wenwen's words stunned everyone present.
"Cough cough cough..." Jiang Xiubai turned his head to the side, covered his mouth, and coughed softly a few times.
This little guy knows how to trade; he'll take his plate of vegetables and exchange it for someone else's plate of meat.
"No change." Pei Yi raised his head blankly, protectively holding onto the plate in front of him and resolutely rejecting Wenwen's request.
"Huh? What's wrong? You're not eating duck." Wenwen stubbornly tried to hand over the plate in front of her.
