Chapter Fifty-Six: Going to the Xu Family!
On Monday, Xu Wang was choosing his costume for the day. He wanted his costume for the scene to be very high-end.
Xu Wang chose a bespoke suit.
After changing his clothes, Xu Wang walked out of the bedroom. In the living room, Pei Yanchuan was sitting on the sofa drinking tea, with a relatively young beta butler standing next to him.

The housekeeper and driver took the things from Xu Wang's hands without hesitation.
It was already 7 p.m. when the group arrived at the Xu family's house.
At the entrance of the Xu family home, Mr. Xu, along with his wife and youngest son, were already waiting at the door.
Xu Rui started making a scene after standing there for less than two minutes.
Seeing this, Xu's mother quickly hugged her son and looked at Xu's father with a wronged expression: "Honey, he's back, why are we standing at the door waiting? My heels are killing me."
"Mom, I want to go back! I want to play on my phone! I want to play games!" Xu Rui waved his hands frantically.

“I said, if you don’t stand still, then get out of this house.” Xu’s father’s expression had lost its usual kind and gentle look, and was now filled with malice.
Xu's mother was so frightened that she stood there stunned, and Xu Rui burst into tears.
"What are you crying for? All you do is cry all day long!" Xu's father roared at Xu Rui.
Xu Rui stopped crying in fear, and even the maid who was holding him couldn't help but shrink back.
"I'm warning you, tonight is extremely important. If you dare to disrupt my plans, don't blame me for being ruthless."
"Alright, hurry up and wipe your tears, lest Xu Wang notice." After uttering these harsh words, Xu's father turned away and refused to look at the two of them again.
After what seemed like an eternity, with their legs starting to feel numb, the three of them finally spotted a black sedan at the end of the road.
Inside the car, Butler Ye silently prepared.
After the car stopped, Mr. Xu walked over with a smile, his steps trembling.

But before he could even get close to the car door, a butler stepped out of the passenger seat and walked elegantly and coldly to the back seat to open the door: "Young Master Xu, we've arrived."
As soon as Xu Wang got out of the car, he entered acting mode. He was no longer relaxed in the car and seemed a little apprehensive.
"Okay, thank you, Butler Ye." Xu Wang's voice trembled as he spoke.
"This is all I should do," Butler Ye said coldly.
Mr. Xu frowned slightly upon seeing this scene. It seemed that his eldest son wasn't living as well as the rumors suggested in the Pei family.
"Xiao Wang, you've finally arrived. Your mother, brother, and I have been waiting for you for a long time. Come in and let's talk." Mr. Xu greeted him with a smile.
"Father, here's a gift for you and Mother." Xu Wang looked at his father with a smile.
The driver handed the gift box from the back of the car to the Xu family's servants.
"Hey, why waste money when we're back home? Come on, let's go inside, the food's already prepared." Mr. Xu only glanced at it briefly, without looking closely, but he was confident that the gifts from the Pei family wouldn't be cheap.
Xu Wang smiled and followed his father inside.
Butler Ye followed closely behind.
After entering the house, Xu Wang finally saw the dinner they had specially prepared.
The meal consisted of a very meager three dishes and a soup. Xu Wang's words were not an exaggeration; there was very little meat in the three dishes and soup in front of him.
Xu Wang sneered inwardly, thinking that the other party probably thought that since only he was coming, they didn't need to use those expensive ingredients.

After a while, Xu's father nodded quickly and asked someone to move Xu Rui's chair back.

Xu Rui didn't feel much.
And so, Xu Wang sat in the first seat to his father's right, and Xu Rui sat in the seat behind Xu Wang.
