Chapter 3 Drama Queen Zhu Yunwen

After finishing a bowl of noodles, Zhu Yunwen regained his strength and was about to get out of bed.

The palace maid hurriedly spoke up:

"Your Highness, you cannot get out of bed yet. The imperial physician has instructed you to rest more."

Zhu Yunwen really wanted to get out of bed and move around, but when he saw the little palace maid's anxious and flustered appearance, he couldn't bear to do it.

This wretched feudal society! The palace maids were so beautiful.

If this were to happen in later generations, wouldn't it crush any current popular actress?

"Okay, I won't get out of bed!"

Zhu Yunwen said this, and the little palace maid immediately smiled.

Just then, a delicate thirteen-year-old girl ran in, lifting her skirt, her pretty face showing anxiety.

"Third Brother..."

Zhu Yunwen looked at the girl running towards him with a puzzled expression, and frowned.

"Third Brother, I heard you were sick. Are you alright?"

The girl was very worried and immediately touched Zhu Yunwen's body to check on him.

Even though Zhu Yunwen had lived two lives, he still felt somewhat embarrassed to be touched inappropriately by a young girl in ancient costume.

"Third Brother, why aren't you saying anything?" The girl looked at Zhu Yunwen, her beautiful face stunning.

"Ah, uh... I'm fine, it's just that I feel like I slept for a long time and had a very long dream, so my mind is a little sluggish for a moment," Zhu Yunwen said with a smile.

The other person called him "Third Brother," so it's highly likely that she was Zhu Yunwen's half-sister.

Chang gave birth to two sons and two daughters.

She had two daughters, Princess Jiangdu and Princess Yilun.

He didn't know which princess this was, so he cautiously probed:

"What about the other sister?"

"Yilun was forced to kneel by his mother!" Princess Jiangdu lowered her head, a tear in her eye.

"Why?" Zhu Yunwen knew that the "mother" she was referring to was his stepmother, Lady Lü.

Princess Jiangdu bit her lip: "Because Yilun wanted to visit you, but Mother Consort said she hadn't done her homework well... so she was punished by kneeling for an incense stick's time!"

Zhu Yunwen narrowed his eyes: "Are you really taking advantage of the fact that the child has no mother?"

He threw back the covers and got out of bed, saying:

"Let's go take a look!"

Seeing that Zhu Yunwen was angry, the young palace maid dared not say anything and quickly stepped forward to serve him and put on his shoes.

Zhu Yunwen was really not used to having his shoes put on for him, but he had to get used to it.

After standing up and dressing with the help of palace maids, Zhu Yunwen took a deep breath and spoke calmly:

"lead the way!"

Princess Jiangdu nodded and led Zhu Yunwen out of the bedchamber. At that moment, she couldn't help but steal a glance at Zhu Yunwen.

Since their mother, Consort Chang, passed away, the three siblings were raised by their stepmother, Lady Lü.

Lu Shi's usual teaching of them was a complete mess, and she was obviously deliberately leading the three siblings astray.

Therefore, the three siblings were all afraid of Lady Lü, especially after their father Zhu Biao passed away, they were even more afraid of her.

But Princess Jiangdu never expected that Zhu Yunwen would dare to visit Princess Yilun, who had been punished.

At this moment, Princess Jiangdu vaguely sensed that her brother seemed to have changed.

Soon, they arrived at Lady Lü's bedroom.

At this moment, Lady Lü was carefully instructing Zhu Yunwen.

She had to make Zhu Yunwen perform well, because there were rumors in the court that Zhu Yuanzhang was not considering making an heir from among his sons, but was preparing to choose directly from among his grandsons.

Among his grandsons, there were only Zhu Yunwen and Zhu Yunwen!

Now that Zhu Yunwen is still alive despite his serious illness, Zhu Yunwen must work even harder.

Lady Lü was painstakingly helping Zhu Yunwen with his homework, while not far away, Princess Yilun, who was only eleven or twelve years old, was kneeling there, her small body covered in sweat.

Their pitiful appearance evoked pity.

Zhu Yunwen was angry. Even though he had transmigrated, his two younger sisters were still his own siblings.

In this world, we must accept our loved ones.

How could he stand by and watch his sister be punished like this?

He then strode into the hall, ignoring Lady Lü, and went directly to help Princess Yilun up, saying:

"Stop kneeling!"

Princess Yilun glanced at Madam Lü with some fear. Madam Lü frowned and walked over, saying:

"Yunwen, Yilun is disobedient, and I am punishing her. Why are you..."

"Shut up!" Zhu Yunwen glared at Lady Lü and said calmly:

“We are siblings, it’s not your place to punish us.”

"You..." Madam Lü's expression changed, and she said angrily:

How dare you speak to me like that?

Zhu Yunwen sneered and said, "Why can't we? What, do you think we're easy to bully just because we have no parents? Lu Shi, put away your little schemes. I, Zhu Yunwen, am not the Zhu Yunwen of the past."

After saying this, Zhu Yunwen took his two younger sisters and turned to leave.

Zhu Yunwen stepped forward angrily, wanting to argue with Zhu Yunwen.

But Lady Lü stopped her, then looked at Zhu Yunwen and said with a smile:

"Look at you, child. I'm only doing this for your own good. Yilun didn't do her homework, so I punished her to teach her a lesson. And you still misunderstand me."

"Very well, from now on, I will let you do as you please. No matter what, I will protect you like your birth mother would!"

Zhu Yunwen turned around, a hint of mockery on his face, and said:

"No matter how well a 'nice guy' pretends, he's still disgusting. You know exactly what you're thinking!"

After saying this, Zhu Yunwen left with his two younger sisters.

Zhu Yunwen looked at his mother and asked in confusion:

"Mother, why do you continue to indulge him like this? He is so rude and disrespectful to you..."

"Yunwen, this is a good thing. I wanted him to be rude and arrogant, disrespectful to his elders. That way, in your grandfather's eyes, he will be even more despicable... Although Zhu Yunwen is not dead today, he is crippled!"

A hint of malice flashed in Lady Lü's eyes.
