Zhu Yunwen and Zhao Qingzhu, in particular, clearly do not appear to be from this country.
This gave some people with ulterior motives an idea, making them think that it would be easier to bully people from other places.
And so it went, just as Zhu Yunwen and Zhao Qingzhu were strolling around, thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Suddenly, seven or eight burly men from Baoxiang Kingdom appeared out of nowhere and immediately surrounded Zhu Yuntong and Zhao Qingzhu.
Immediately, the burly man at the head of the group looked at Zhu Yunwen and Zhao Qingzhu with a sneer and said:
"Oh my, this girl is really pretty, too bad it's not our turn."
As he spoke, he glanced at Zhu Yunwen again and said in a teasing tone:
"Of course it's not your turn."
Zhu Yunwen frowned slightly and asked very calmly:
"Who are you people, and why are you blocking my way?"
The sleazy-looking man chuckled wickedly and said:
"You're just a stranger. Do you think you have the right to know who we are? Kid, I advise you to be smart and hand over the beauty beside you so we can take you away."
Otherwise, you'll likely find it difficult to leave this royal city alive, let alone the Kingdom of Baoxiang.
Zhu Yunwen instantly understood, and then said with great disdain:
"The security situation in Baoxiang Kingdom is so bad. It's truly pathetic that such a thing as kidnapping someone in broad daylight in the royal city where the King of Baoxiang Kingdom resides could happen!"
As he spoke, Zhu Yunwen put his hands behind his back. He seemed not only unafraid, but even somewhat sentimental, which angered the seven or eight burly men.
The sleazy-looking man lost his patience even more:
"Boy, didn't you hear what I said? You still have time to rave about how great my Baoxiang Kingdom is. It's laughable. Fine, let's just do it and take this woman back to me."
Upon hearing this, Zhu Yunwen smiled slightly, took half a step back, and said to Zhao Qingzhu beside him:
"Go all out, they're not from our Ming Dynasty anyway."
