After leaving Goryeo, Zhu Yunwen's feelings were quite complicated. He increasingly felt that the responsibility on his shoulders was too heavy.
After all, the Ming Dynasty's territory was already quite large, and now with the addition of other territories, there were indeed too many places to manage and govern.
This has increased the pressure considerably.
Although the Ming Dynasty has made great improvements in all aspects, and the people are now well-fed and clothed and living in good conditions.
Zhu Yunwen, however, still wanted to do his best to make life better for the people.
This requires constant effort and continuous development. Even like now, constantly running around.
Zhao Qingzhu seemed to sense Zhu Yunzhu's somewhat helpless mood. After thinking for a moment, she said to Zhu Yunzhu:
“I know you have a free spirit and love freedom. You don’t like being tied down by too many responsibilities every day. But if we think about it another way, let’s treat this trip as a vacation and take care of some things along the way. Wouldn’t that be better?”
Zhu Yunwen then smiled and said to Zhao Qingzhu:
"That's the only way to put it. Back then, I didn't really want to become the Crown Prince. It was purely to compete with Zhu Yunwen."
But I never imagined it would end up like this. I guess I've created some problems for myself.
Zhao Qingzhu said, "But I have to admit that it is most suitable for the people and the Ming Dynasty to have you as the crown prince."
Zhu Yunwen took a deep breath, mounted his bicycle, glanced at Zhao Qingzhu, and then said in as gentle a voice as possible:
"It's just a pity that you have to run around with me all day."
Zhao Qingzhu was immediately displeased:
"What kind of talk is that? You and I are one, so naturally we should face these things together."
Zhu Yunwen nodded slightly and said no more.
And so, the two of them rode their bicycles, trying to have a leisurely and sightseeing mindset, towards the southwest of the Ming Dynasty. And this wasn't their first time going to the southwest.
When Zhu Yunwen toured the country before, he visited the southwest and, incidentally, also came to rule the Annam Kingdom in the southwest.
Now, after some time, I've returned to the southwest, and the changes here are immense.
Zhu Yunwen always emphasized the need for all regions to develop as a whole and make progress together. Now Annam has become a province of the Ming Dynasty, and a Provincial Administration Office has been established there.
And some local government agencies of the Ming Dynasty.
Under the guidance of the imperial court, various aspects of development were made, and Annam gradually began to catch up with the pace of the Ming Dynasty.
The people of Annam were originally very dissatisfied with Annam being ruled by the Ming Dynasty.
However, these people were all proven wrong. Since being ruled by the Ming Dynasty, the people of Annam have enjoyed increasingly better lives.
Originally, they were very hostile to the Ming Dynasty, and many people in the countryside frequently rose up in rebellion, shouting slogans such as "overthrow the Ming and restore Annam".
At first, they shouted enthusiastically, and the people of Annam were quite supportive.
After all, the Ming Dynasty's rule over Annam seemed to have become a source of personal and national hatred for them. Although it couldn't quite be considered a personal feud, it could be considered a national hatred, albeit reluctantly.
Although the Ming Dynasty was once very powerful and had even subjugated Annam, the people of An Nguyen found it difficult to accept the fact that it had taken control of Annam.
Originally, their emotions fluctuated greatly, and they had all kinds of opposition. But as time went on, the Ming Dynasty brought a lot of seeds and grains, allowing these peaceful people to have enough to eat and wear.
They even established various kinds of trade relations.
Even the Ming Dynasty court discovered the specialties of Annam.
As a result, merchants from other parts of the Ming Dynasty came to prepare to do business.
With money, food, shelter, and business opportunities, the Ming Dynasty was also starting to build roads and develop various parts of Annam.
Life is visibly getting better, and conditions are constantly improving. In no time, the people have realized what's happening.
This is so much better than the old Annam Kingdom, having the Ming Dynasty rule over Annam!
In the past, most people in Annam were starving and cold, but the court at the time did not care about these things at all.
They only care that those in power have good food and drink, and they don't care about the suffering of the common people at all.
But the Ming Dynasty is now in power, and in a short period of time, it has directly raised the living standards of the people by several levels.
Moreover, judging from the current situation, Annam's future will only get better and better.
As a result, more people came to accept the Ming Dynasty and did not allow other extremists to use the Ming Dynasty for their own purposes.
Those guys wanted to smear the Ming Dynasty and break free from its control, but they were met with even more attacks from the people.
As a result, these potential threats were eliminated directly from within their ranks.
The people of Annam resolved the issue themselves, and the potential threat to the Ming Dynasty was eliminated, making it a region truly under the Ming's control.
I have to say, it was quite funny.
The people couldn't resist the Ming Dynasty's sugar-coated bullets, but frankly speaking, what did the people really need?
Isn't it all about a stable life and a stable future?
Not only must it be stable, but it must at least guarantee that people have food, drink, and clothing. If the previous Annam Kingdom could not guarantee the basic living standards of its people, and even increased their burden, then such a country was indeed not a good thing for the people of Annam.
