The deputy commander ordered the Jinyiwei to fight. He looked at Luo Yining hesitantly, but immediately drew his knife from his waist, grabbed Luo Yining's neck and pulled her over. Before Luo Yining could react, Zhao Mingzhu cried out and saw the deputy commander's knife resting on Luo Yining's neck.
"Deputy Envoy Liu, what are you doing?" Zhao Mingzhu's voice was almost changing.
"Madam, I'm sorry." The deputy commander's voice was very cold at this time, and his men pinched her mercilessly. "Please don't struggle, madam. I won't kill you."

Seeing her being held hostage, his men swung their knives even more fiercely. He shouted, "Deputy Envoy Liu, what are you doing? Are you trying to threaten her? Aren't you afraid that Luo Shenyuan will kill you?"
"Lord Luo probably doesn't mind." The deputy commander just smiled.
Luo Yining clenched her sleeves. Why did Lu Jiaxue come to Kunning Palace? The deputy commander captured her as soon as he saw her. What was he doing?
Many people followed Lu Jiaxue, but the Jinyiwei were no incompetents. During the clash, Lu Jiaxue seemed injured, his arms waving with less agility. Covered in blood, he had already reached the steps and saw Luo Yining not far away. Deputy Envoy Liu realized he couldn't scare Lu Jiaxue, so he moved his knife closer to Luo Yining's neck: "Lu Jiaxue, do you believe I will kill her? Stop!"
Lu Jiaxue approached fearlessly, knife in hand. Deputy Envoy Liu's knife had already pierced Luo Yining's skin, but she remained silent.
The man was like a ghost. He finally chopped off the head of the person standing in front of him with a single blow. Blood splattered all over Luo Yining.
The two looked at each other for a long time in the night.
Lu Jiaxue was exhausted. Even the strongest would be tired after so much fighting, not to mention the bleeding shoulder wound. He stalked towards her, heavy steps at a time. Luo Yining instinctively stepped back, only to hear a crashing sound, like the collapse of Mount Tai. Luo Yining suddenly realized that this was all Daoyan's scheme. He had her enter the palace to help her, simply to use her to achieve victory and harm the man before him. Perhaps Luo Shenyuan was also involved, because he knew how important she was to Lu Jiaxue, and Lu Jiaxue would not leave her alone.
Luo Yining lost all her strength. She had caused him trouble! If she hadn't entered the palace, Lu Jiaxue would never have come to save her.
"Are you stupid...you just believe what others say!" Luo Yining couldn't hold back her tears.
"There's a trap here!" Luo Yining said hoarsely, shaking his shoulders. "Didn't you think it was a trap?"
Lu Jiaxue just looked at her as if she was a child throwing a tantrum. But he didn't care and smiled: "I didn't want to come either...but..."
But then I thought, you might be dying... Then where could I wait for you for another fourteen years? I couldn't. I was already getting old. Fourteen years, and then another fourteen years. "Why did you come here!" Luo Yining cried.
It was as if something was finally broken, and Luo Yining hugged him tightly.
Luo Yining looked up and saw the arrows approaching. The familiar figure, draped in a cloak, stood against a nearby wall, his back to the light. The arrows in the hands of the people beside him gleamed coldly in the night.
