Chapter 1004 The Godfather and the First Aid Kit (The Godfather Anime)
The K93 galaxy.
In the vast and boundless universe, a silver-white spaceship is nimbly traversing a dark red asteroid belt.
What appear as tiny celestial bodies through a telescope are actually enormous, and each has its own trajectory. Combined with the faster-than-light speed of the spacecraft itself, it looks like a very dangerous game of dodging.
But this doesn't stop it.
After all, it wasn't an ordinary spaceship, but the most powerful warship of the Imperial Marshal.
It accompanied the Imperial Marshal through a long and glorious period of conquest, achieving peak results for the entire star system and even the entire Federation.
There are many rumors about it. Some say it is a warship that the Imperial Marshal commissioned to be custom-made at great expense, while others say it is a secret weapon left to him by his grandfather.
However, there are also rumors that it was originally just a nanny-type robot, the kind that made milk powder and changed diapers for the little marshal.
A cute AI voice rang out, seemingly with a hint of excitement: "The obstacle cannot be avoided. A removal plan will be implemented. Should we stop it?"
The man, who was sitting on the back of the chair with his eyes closed, didn't even lift his eyelids.
The AI voice became even more excited: "The cleanup plan has officially begun! Friendly reminder—"
Halfway through his sentence, the man on the back of the chair casually raised a long, elegant hand, which, despite being gloved, was still visible, and snapped it shut with the safety buckle on the back of the chair.
The AI emitted a mechanical voice, sounding like a father with satisfaction and contentment: "My baby is so good."
The man parted his thin lips slightly: "If you call the baby again, I'll smash it for you."
Perhaps threatened, the AI indeed stopped speaking, but it still flashed a line of text on the screen, as if to show its last bit of unyielding will: "Unbreakable."
The man kept his eyes closed, but seemed to have guessed its little trick, and said calmly, "Cancel autopilot."
The AI immediately admitted defeat: "Marshal, you're awesome!"
Next, it began to focus on eliminating asteroids that it could not avoid.
Under normal circumstances, Federation warships would not arbitrarily destroy celestial bodies in space, but this mission was urgent and Federation laws could not be disregarded.
Meanwhile, on an orange planet, a full thirty warships were poised to set sail.
This is a newly emerging group of space pirates in the galaxy. Most of them are escaped convicts who have successfully robbed ten Federation space supply stations and two Empire supply stars.
The Federation took this very seriously and sent a legion to encircle and suppress them. However, there were traitors among them who were very familiar with the Federation's warships and tactics. They did not engage in direct combat but instead fired a shot and fled, showing exceptional cunning.
The federal government is extremely troubled by this.
Recently, they have set their sights on a supply planet controlled by the Will family and are planning to take action against it tonight.
However, before they could even set off, a completely black spaceship suddenly appeared in the dark night sky above them. After entering the planet's atmosphere, it slowed down and hovered steadily above the thirty warships.
The first to spot it was a sentry with a gun. He initially thought it was one of their accomplices, but later realized it wasn't, because a huge federal military insignia was prominently displayed on the bottom of the black warship.
"It's a Federation warship!"
He was on high alert!
Everyone became wary, and at the same time, felt it was unbelievable.
What about their defense systems? Did they fail? Why did they neither intercept nor warn us? How could this warship have entered as if it were uninhabited?
The pirate leader issued the battle preparation order: "How many warships are there in total?"
The driver standing nearby stammered, "One...one ship!"
"One? The Federation only sent one warship?" The pirate leader was dumbfounded. He knew that the Federation had deployed the same number of troops as them but still failed to annihilate them. Could it be that... the Federation wasn't here to fight them? But to negotiate?
At this point, he smiled smugly, "Then there's nothing to be afraid of, just destroy it!"
Peace talks?
It does not exist.
He issued the order, but received no response from the other warships. He frowned: "What's going on?"
The pilot pointed in terror at the warship in the sky: "Look, look!"
The warships in the sky began to light up in large swaths, their black hulls like scales turned over, each layer revealing a dazzling silver light.
With this change, its enormous body was revealed to everyone.
The pirate leader trembled: "This, this is—"
The World Destroyer, the first warship in the entire Federation's star system, which accompanied the Imperial Marshal in his conquests!
Inside the warship's large viewing window, a man in a black uniform looked down at everyone.
This is the most handsome man in the entire empire, and also the most cruel and cold-blooded.
He was tall and slender, and the uniform fit him perfectly, with even the top button fastened at the collar, giving him a strict and ascetic air.
His skin appeared deathly pale under the cold light.
He held a golden imperial star scepter in his hands, a symbol of status and a sign of death.
The Imperial Marshal didn't come to negotiate; he came to suppress bandits.
The kind that leaves no survivors.
The pirate leader, who was smug just a moment ago, was now completely panicked.
Wasn't it said that the Imperial Marshal went on an expedition to the K34B system? He wouldn't be back for decades, so why is he gone so soon—
If the Imperial Marshal hadn't left, they wouldn't have dared to rob the Federation's supply planets and space stations even if they had a hundred times the courage!
"What to do... what to do..." The pirate leader was sweating profusely.
Not only him, but the other space pirates were also terrified.
This youngest general in the empire is the only marshal in this star system who has intimidated the entire Federation. He was born into a poor noble family and had the lowest possible resources, yet he still managed to carve out a bloody path for himself in the Federation.
No one dared to challenge its prowess.
"Run! Run now!"
Someone yelled out, and everyone snapped out of their daze, jumping onto the warship to prepare for their escape.
The Imperial Marshal coldly watched the space pirates who had murdered countless civilians, as if they were a swarm of panicked ants.
"The Destroyer requests to execute the command." The AI's mechanical voice turned cold and domineering.
The Imperial Marshal said, enunciating each word clearly: "Purge plan, execute."
The AI's mechanical voice sounded again.
"The clearing operation is about to begin. Civilians are advised to evacuate."
"The clearing operation is about to begin. Civilians are advised to evacuate."
"The clearing operation is about to begin. Civilians are advised to evacuate."
"Countdown begins."
A line of shimmering numbers appeared in the vast, boundless starry sky, marking a two-minute countdown.
The space pirates were incredibly fast; they had already left in their respective warships in just one minute.
In a state of faster-than-light travel, you could travel across several planets in a minute.
Even though there were no more warships on the ground, the countdown in the night sky continued.
Until the very last second when everything was reset to zero, the Destroyer launched a pursuit of the fleeing warship.
...
Thirty seconds later.
The universe returned to tranquility.
Inside the cockpit, the Destroyer's AI resumed its adorable mechanical voice: "Baby, it's time to eat. Today's dinner is very plentiful."
But the Imperial Marshal never got to have dinner; they encountered a star collapsing on their way back.
This massive star had been collapsing for a long time and remained relatively stable. It was estimated that it would continue burning for at least another 100,000 years. However, for some unknown reason, it burned out prematurely, and in its final seconds, it suddenly collapsed to form a black hole.
The Destroyer was captured by the gravity of the black hole.
An alarm that had never been sounded before rang in the cockpit.
There's no going back, K93 galaxy.
The Imperial Marshal calmly and composedly faced his death.
He fought on all sides, but one day he would die on the road to war.
He stroked the cockpit and said softly, "Destroyer, your service ends here. You are the glory of the Empire."
After a long silence, the AI voice solemnly said, "Marshal, you are too."
The next second, it calmly said, "Hibernation pod activated."
The interior of the cockpit changed rapidly; the original viewing window disappeared, replaced by a wall with a screen.
Immediately afterwards, a luxurious hibernation pod, large enough to supply several epochs, rose from the ground.
The Imperial Marshal frowned: "World Destroyer, what do you intend to do?"
The AI voice remained calm.
"Hibernation pod separates, medical pod activated."
"Weapon bay ready to launch, to meet the black hole's gravity."
"Goodbye, Marshal."
As soon as he finished speaking, a terrifying shock swept through the entire hibernation pod. The Imperial Marshal's brainwaves reached their peak, followed by a strong sense of dizziness, and he lost consciousness.
Several lines of text flashed on the screen—
Capture habitable planets.
