Chapter 115 Adopting a Child

Others also agreed and said to go find the village chief first.

Seeing this, the aunt found another aunt, and then each of them carried a basket and went to the village chief's house.

When I arrived at the village chief's house, I told him what had happened.

Upon seeing this, Village Chief Wu quickly asked his wife to prepare some rice soup for them to drink to warm them up first.

Aunt Wu San asked worriedly, "Village Chief, what should we do with these two children? I don't know who is so wicked as to be so cruel as to abandon such young children."

Village chief Wu was silent for a while. He didn't know what to do. Although the village had made some money, it was not rich. Moreover, there were two children, and ordinary families could not afford it.

Just when everyone was frowning, an aunt said loudly, "Why don't we ask Mr. He's family? He's the richest family in our village. Maybe they would agree to adopt the child."

After hearing this, Village Chief Wu pondered for a while and then went to ask He Jinshu and Shen Zhen to come over and told them what had happened.

Upon hearing this, Chen Zhen went inside to check on the two children, then said to He Jinshu, "Ah Shu, I think these two children are quite cute. How about we adopt them?"

He Jinshu took a look at the two children. They were wrapped in a torn quilt and their clothes were also old. They looked really pitiful, so he nodded and said, "Okay, then adopt them."

After that, the two said goodbye to the villagers and returned home with their children.

When Grandpa He and Grandma He saw this, they asked in confusion, "Xiaoshu, where did this child come from?"

He Jinshu explained the situation to Grandma He, and then said to them, "Grandpa and Grandma, I want to adopt these two children with Ah Zhen, is that okay?"

When Grandma He and Grandpa He learned about this, they felt sorry for the two children, so they nodded and said, "Okay, if you want to raise them, then go ahead."

Afterwards, Grandma He and Shen Zhen took the two children to give them a bath and change their clothes.

After everything was packed up, Grandpa He held one of the children in his arms and asked He Jinshu, "Xiaoshu, since you're going to adopt these two children, why don't you and Tingge'er give them a name?"

"We just named them. The older one is He Siyi and the younger one is He Sixuan." He Jinshu said, looking at the two children.

Grandpa He and Grandma He paused when they heard this, and then Grandpa He asked, "Does Brother Zhen agree to this?"

"I agree. I told him that," said He Jinshu.

Grandpa He smiled and said, "That's good. My brother Xuan has a really nice name."

Grandma He also smiled and said, "Both names sound nice. Take a look at them and put them inside. It rained yesterday, so don't let them catch a cold. I'll go make some goat milk for them and feed them later."

"I understand, grandma. Don't forget to make wontons for Brother Ting." He Jinshu said.

"Don't worry, I won't forget it." Grandma He said as she walked towards the kitchen.

As he walked, he stopped and said to He Jinshu, "Xiaoshu, adopting a child is a big deal. Please send someone to inform the in-laws later."

"Okay." He Jinshu responded, and then he called the servant and asked him to go to Shenjia Village.

After holding the children for a while, He Jinshu put them back in the room.

Around noon, Shen's mother and the others, who had received the news, rushed to the He family carrying their things.

The whole family came over, even the youngest Chen Yu was held in the arms of Tang Qiao.

There were large and small bags of things, all of which were food and daily necessities, as well as gifts for the two children.

After waking up, Chen Zhen asked dazedly, "Mom, when did you come?"

"I've been here for a while. Are you hungry? After I feed you, let Jinshu bring you some food." Mother Shen said softly.

Upon hearing this, Chen Chen said without any politeness: "I'm hungry. Bring me two bowls of wontons later."

He was already hungry, and after smelling the aroma of goat milk, he felt even hungrier.

After He Jinshu settled him on the crib, he said to Chen Chen, "Wait a moment, I'll get you some wontons."

After saying that, he walked out of the room.
