Jones understood when Weber made this request, and he also realized how much faith this game would bring.
How could Jones miss such a great opportunity for a demigod? He directly decided on the role of a priest, still using the same old method as Weber.
Since Merlin was not aware of their identities, they would not take the initiative to tell him, so as not to bring great pressure to the little boy.
As for other professional characters, Webber and Jones looked at each other and had their own little thoughts, thinking in their hearts how to use the character quotas of Arena of Valor to cheat their "old friends" of their "money".
Merlin also readily agreed to Weber's request. Since the priests and mages in Arena of Valor used the identities of demigods, the other professional characters could not be too low. This level of existence was not something he could contact, so he could only let Weber contact Jones.
This is also a good thing for Weber and Jones. After so many years, their old friends must have a lot of good things in their hands. This is an opportunity to make a fortune.
After Merlin finished talking to the two old men, he left the back garden of the Mage Tower. He now had other important things to do, such as fooling other college teachers...
The gate of the Arcane Academy stands majestically, and the exquisitely carved stone pillars are wrapped with flickering magic runes, emitting a soft light.
The giant doors on both sides of the gate are made of dark wood and inlaid with sparkling crystals, as if showing the mystery and majesty of the college to every visitor.
Merlin had just finished discussing Arena of Valor with several teachers, and when he walked to this spectacular entrance, his heart was still immersed in the passion for game design.
He looked up and saw a luxurious carriage parked in front of the academy gate. The exterior of the carriage was inlaid with golden patterns and the wheels were shining with magical light, as if it could gallop away at any time.
Around the carriage, the guard team was in uniform, consisting of magicians, magic swordsmen and knights. They were wearing armor, holding weapons, and had serious expressions, as if they were guarding some important secret.
Merlin's eyes were involuntarily drawn to the entrance, where stood an elegant head maid, Alicia. She was wearing a neat maid's uniform, with her hair tied up high, and was talking respectfully to a man.
The man looked to be in his twenties, with a slender figure, handsome features, and a gentle and elegant temperament on his face, especially his deep eyes, which seemed to contain endless wisdom.
His appearance reminded Merlin of Yuna, and there seemed to be some similarities.
As Merlin was studying him, the conversation ended, and the man smiled, turned and walked towards the carriage, then left the academy accompanied by his guards.
Alicia turned around and saw Merlin with a curious look on his face. Their eyes met in the air and they both showed surprise.
"Hello, Master Merlin!" Alicia bowed slightly with a smile on her face.
"Long time no see, Alicia." Merlin responded, curious, "Who was that gentleman just now?"
Alicia gently adjusted the hem of her skirt and replied, "That's Princess Yuna's brother, Prince Arno's second son, Cotora Clement. He came to the academy this time to give his sister custom-made clothes and some daily necessities."
"Prince Arno?" Merlin silently repeated the name in his mind. Arno Clement, the prince of the Star Empire and the man in power behind the Royal Chamber of Commerce.
"Yes, Prince Arno is quite prestigious in the Star Empire, especially in business. The man behind the Royal Chamber of Commerce is Prince Arno." Alicia nodded and added, her eyes flashing with admiration for the royal family.
Merlin nodded. He didn't expect to see Prince Arno's second son here. "Why is Prince Arno's second son not staying in the Star Empire but coming to the Arcane City? Is he just here to send clothes to his sister? Others can do this, right?"
"I heard that Prince Arno's descendants all manage their own areas. Isn't Princess Yuna in charge of the Arcane City?"
Alicia looked at Merlin in surprise when she heard what he said. "You are right, but the Second Prince has been in the Arcane City for a long time. He is a gambler and often hangs out in gambling houses in major cities. Master Merlin, you may not know that the Arcane City has the largest casino in the Aize Continent, which is in the Bijiang District of the Upper District."
"I have an incompatible hatred for gambling and drugs!" Merlin raised his hand.
"Indeed, gambling is not a good thing. If I had a choice, I would not want to gamble." Alicia nodded in agreement.
Merlin was somewhat puzzled by what Alicia said. Alicia seemed to have thought of something and smiled apologetically at Merlin. She shook the space ring in her hand and said, "Master Merlin, I have to go to Her Royal Highness the Princess."
"Yeah, I won't bother you."
Merlin looked at Alicia's leaving back and touched his chin thoughtfully. He scratched his head and decided not to think about it anymore. He turned around and saw the girl at the corner and was stunned.
"Hi, Stacy, long time no see! The time for house arrest and reflection that the academy gave you should be over, right? Why don't you report to the back mountain?" Merlin missed Stacy very much these days. He was almost dying of busyness. If Stacy, as his secretary, was around, he wouldn't be so tired.
Stacy's house arrest ended yesterday, but because of the last incident, she has been embarrassed to see Merlin. Moreover, she doesn't know why, but when she looks at Merlin's back from afar, her face turns red, her expression becomes dazed, and her head is always filled with messy thoughts.
Stacy thought Merlin hadn't noticed, but she froze when she was suddenly called. When Merlin walked up to her and asked her how she was doing recently, her mind was in a mess.
"What's going on? Stacy, aren't you having any problems again?" Merlin asked worriedly. This was the chosen one he had chosen, and he had spent a lot of gold coins on her because of the Moon Whisperer incident. If something really went wrong again, it would be too bad.
Stacy, you must get back to work quickly and continue to be my slave and be exploited by me!
Stacy panicked, her face turned red, her head felt hot, and her heart was pounding. As Merlin approached, she couldn't stand it anymore, so she pushed Merlin away and ran away.
Merlin looked at Stacy's leaving back in astonishment, stretched out his hand to keep her, thinking in his heart, is he hated now?
Could it be that this little girl discovered that I have been exploiting Stacy? Damn it, I haven't gotten enough out of her yet!
