"What are you doing! What are you doing!" The goblins in the Mixue Time Milk Tea Shop were frightened by the sudden scene and screamed loudly. The sound was sharp and piercing, cutting through the sky.
They stopped what they were doing, stood there at a loss, their eyes full of fear and grievance.
The adventure groups and mercenaries who were originally relaxing, drinking and chatting nearby frowned and showed impatience on their faces when they saw this scene.
They put down their wine glasses, stood up, and cast strange looks over here.
"Goblin, why are there goblins here! Why are goblins in the Mixue Time Milk Tea Shop!" The candidates were still in shock and shouted to the mercenaries around them with trembling voices, their eyes full of help and confusion.
They looked at the mercenaries around them and found that except for their group who were frightened, the others seemed to be used to it, which made them even more confused and frightened.
In their perception, goblins are evil, dirty creatures that only bring destruction and disaster. How come they appear in this seemingly cozy milk tea shop and work there?
Just as the candidates were still in shock and in a stalemate with the goblin that ran out of the Mixue Time Milk Tea Shop, a mercenary sitting on a chair at the door of the shop, crossed his legs, with a somewhat unruly and mocking look on his face, sneered disdainfully: "It's just a goblin, what's the big deal!"
The tone seemed to mock everyone's ignorance and cowardice.
This sneer was like a stone thrown into a calm lake, causing ripples.
Then, another mercenary stood up and shouted at the group of examinees in dissatisfaction: "That's right, don't you know where this place is?"
There was impatience in their eyes, and the beer they had not yet finished was still dangling in their hands. The beer was rippling in the cup, and a few drops splashed onto the ground.
The candidates looked at each other, full of confusion and grievance. They simply couldn't understand why these mercenaries, who usually hunted monsters and would kill goblins with a single blow, would speak in favor of the goblins?
A burly, bearded mercenary seemed to see their confusion. He pointed his thick finger at the top of their heads and said loudly, "Look carefully. This is the goblin's territory. You guys barged in rashly and were so rude. You disturbed everyone's peace. What a shame!"
The examinees looked up in astonishment and looked in the direction the mercenary pointed. They saw a tall and majestic large archway above their heads, spanning both ends of the street. On the archway were carved some eye-catching characters - "Mountain of Monsters? Goblin Kingdom". It was like a blockbuster bomb, and it instantly made them stand still.
"Goblin Kingdom?" They repeated subconsciously and looked around. They were surprised to find that in addition to various adventure groups and mercenaries, there were quite a few goblins in neat clothes among them.
These goblins were completely different from the barbaric and sloppy images in their memories. They were dressed neatly and cleanly, and some wore exquisite hats and glasses of various styles on their noses. There was a sense of elegance in their every move. At this moment, they were looking at the group of candidates with astonishment on their faces. The look in their eyes was full of surprise and confusion, as if they were looking at a group of uncivilized primitive people.
"Why do humans live in harmony with chaotic creatures like goblins?"
A young candidate couldn't help but mutter to himself, his voice full of confusion. In their past understanding, goblins were greedy, cruel, disorderly, and a major threat to human survival, but what they saw before them completely overturned their concepts.
It is truly incredible that these goblins not only have their own kingdom, but also live in peace with humans and even jointly run this prosperous commercial street.
Just as they were lost in deep thought, the goblins in the Mixue Time Milk Tea Shop seemed to come to their senses. One of the older goblins, who looked like the shop manager, walked forward cautiously and said in a common language that was not very fluent but as clear as possible: "Um, do you want some more milk tea?"
There was a hint of anticipation and a bit of nervousness in its eyes, as if it was afraid that this group of humans would be scared away again.
milk tea? After a brief moment of astonishment and stalemate, this group of candidates gradually put away their weapons, and curiosity and appetite began to play tricks in their hearts.
Many people hesitated, taking slightly slower steps, planning to order a cup of the legendary World of Warcraft Mountain limited edition berry-flavored milk tea, wanting to find out what it is like.
However, at this moment, a girl in the crowd frowned, her face full of disgust and resistance, and quickly shook her head and said, "I don't want it. I really can't imagine what the milk tea made by a dirty creature like a goblin would taste like."
Her voice was not loud, but it was particularly harsh in the relatively quiet atmosphere. The students around her looked at her sideways, some with hesitation on their faces, as if affected by her words.
The goblin was not happy to be despised so bluntly. The young goblin standing at the door of the milk tea shop had his cheeks puffed up with anger, like two ripe red apples.
It stretched out its clean hands and waved them in front of everyone. The fingernails were neatly trimmed and round, without any mud. Looking at their heads and bodies, they were smooth without a single stray hair, and their skin had a healthy green luster.
It pointed at the girl angrily and screamed, "You are the dirtiest one. Look at you. You have been running all the way here. Your clothes are all dusty and there is dirt under your fingernails. You are much dirtier than us!"
Perhaps completely enraged by the girl's words, the little goblin put his hands on his hips and angrily began his "Love Cleanliness Declaration": "We get up before dawn every day and wash with clear mountain spring water. The water is drawn from the depths of the Warcraft Mountains and is very clean! After washing, we use a special soft-bristled brush to clean the dust on our bodies and clothes, and even the nails. After doing all this, we have to disinfect every corner of the store and wipe the tables, chairs and benches. We use specially formulated cleaning agents that are both sterilizing and fragrant. We are even more rigorous in dealing with food. The ingredients for making milk tea are carefully selected. From picking, cleaning to processing, every step is strictly controlled, for fear that there is something unclean. Unlike you, you rush in in a hurry without even looking at yourself, and you despise us!"
The little goblin was talking with saliva flying everywhere, and the surrounding humans and goblins were stunned.
As the examinees listened to the little goblin's scolding, they subconsciously looked down at their dusty clothes, then looked at the dirt hidden under their fingernails. Then they compared the goblin in front of them, who was clean and tidy and even exuded a faint fragrance, and suddenly they felt a little ashamed.
Their cheeks flushed slightly, their eyes were full of embarrassment, and they wished they could find a hole in the ground to crawl into.
