Enraged, Zhang Aiguo stormed into the police station and slapped Zhang Ming, who was still kneeling on the ground in a daze, across the face. The sound was clear and loud, indicating that the force was extremely strong.
Seeing the disheveled woman beside him and his son, the only son in nine generations, Zhang Aiguo, not satisfied with just slapping him, kicked Zhang Ming hard in the chest.
Zhang Ming was already covered in injuries, and Zhang Aiguo's kick landed squarely on his unhealed whip wounds. Zhang Ming felt as if his flesh was about to be torn apart, and he clutched his chest and curled up on the ground in pain.
When the police officers realized the situation was getting out of hand, they quickly stepped forward and pulled Zhang Aiguo back from continuing to assault people.
Zhang Aiguo's foot was pulled away just before it reached Zhang Ming's face, leaving him kicking wildly in the air. Undeterred, Zhang Aiguo continued to kick forward while shouting, "It's only natural for me to beat my own son, what the hell are you doing stopping me?"
"Let go of me, or I'll beat you all up!" Zhang Aiguo said recklessly, as if he was determined to beat Zhang Ming to death right here today.
Police officers turned pale upon hearing Zhang Aiguo's words. This man was completely ignorant of and disregarded the law, yet he spoke so openly about assaulting a police officer.
The two men holding Zhang Aiguo were extremely strong, and Zhang Aiguo couldn't break free, so he kicked the leg of the person next to him.
Police officers were not allowed to take action initially, but Zhang Aiguo's kick confirmed the assault on a police officer. The person holding him up then performed an over-the-shoulder throw, slamming Zhang Aiguo to the ground and pinning him to the floor.
"Assaulting a police officer is a serious offense and will land you in jail!"
The staff member behind him spoke in a serious voice.
Upon hearing that he would be imprisoned, Zhang Aiguo's face immediately turned green. Feeling the pressure of the person pressing down on him, he realized he couldn't shake them off and stopped struggling.
Zhang Aiguo's health has deteriorated too much over the years, and he's long since passed away. It's just that Zhang Ming was so terrified of being beaten since childhood that he's completely afraid to fight back, which is why he's always intimidated by Zhang Aiguo and doesn't dare to retaliate.
But Zhang Aiguo's fists and feet were no match for anyone else, let alone a proper police officer.
Zhang Aiguo dared not continue to strike, but he didn't stop talking, constantly cursing Zhang Ming.
"You heartless, good-for-nothing son! I knew your mother's offspring wasn't good!"
"You've completely disgraced me! I'll beat you to death when I get back!"
Zhang Aiguo invited some mahjong buddies to play today. Because of his poor health, he no longer seeks out women to have children for him. He spends his time spending money on pleasure and the rest of his time at the mahjong table.
Zhang Aiguo initially played mahjong in his neighborhood, visiting almost every chess and card room and mahjong parlor nearby.
However, Zhang Aiguo's behavior was so bad that, not to mention his foul mouth, the number of mothers he cursed throughout the game could circle the earth three times.
What's even more frustrating is that Zhang Aiguo likes to take back his cards. This happens when playing cards, including mahjong. He'll play a card and then take it back, and when he loses, he'll try to cheat. He's also reluctant to pay out of pocket, so nobody likes to play with him.
Zhang Aiguo only wanted to play around. At first, he said he had plenty of money and didn't care about winning or losing. But when he actually lost, he felt wronged and said that he just didn't play well in this round and that he would definitely win the next round. He could lose tens of thousands of yuan in a day, and if he got really angry, he could lose hundreds of thousands of yuan.
When he wins, he urges others to pay him, saying things like "a bet is a bet, and it's only fair." But when others win, he starts delaying payment, saying he'll pay next time and telling others not to be so calculating.
At times, in an attempt to evade payment, they would even falsely accuse others of cheating, overturn the card table, and vent their anger in a fit of rage.
So over time, no one wanted to play with him anymore. People in the neighborhood all knew what kind of person Zhang Aiguo was. Not only did they not get paid to play with him, they also accumulated a lot of anger.
Everyone here is a respectable person and doesn't want to fight with Zhang Aiguo. The main problem is that Zhang Aiguo has no sense of propriety; you can tell by how he beats his own son.
At first, she only beat her son at home, but later she felt it wasn't enough, so she took the child to the entrance of the community to beat him. When she swung the belt at her son, she used all her strength. Anyone who didn't know better would think she was beating an enemy.
Zhang Ming was beaten to the point of near death several times, lying on the ground unable to move, and was taken to the hospital by neighbors who couldn't bear to watch any longer.
Zhang Aiguo only cared about playing cards and didn't care about anything else. When he was having a good time, he would simply put his belt into his pants and go out to play cards in the street.
He didn't really want to educate the child; he just wanted to beat him. He would find any excuse to beat Zhang Ming up, no matter how big or small the matter was.
After all, hitting someone else is illegal and has many consequences, but hitting your own son is less troublesome and just pure pleasure.
Zhang Aiguo often remarked that there are many benefits to being a father.
However, since Zhang Ming went to board at No. 1 Middle School, Zhang Aiguo's belt has been used less often, mainly because Zhang Ming often doesn't go home and says he has to attend extra classes on weekends.
Zhang Aiguo didn't care. If he didn't come back, he didn't have to. He went to play cards as usual after waking up, but the nearby card and mahjong parlors wouldn't let him in. They practically put up a sign at the door saying "Zhang Aiguo and dogs are not allowed in."
Zhang Aiguo was dismissive, so he drove to the next district every day to play cards. Yancheng was so big, he didn't believe he couldn't find a place to play cards.
And so, he discovered a great place recently. This chess and card room is frequented mainly by middle-aged people who are older and not valued in society or at home. Everyone is eager to find a place to vent their frustrations and unfulfilled ambitions.
Therefore, they always chat and complain at the card table, complaining about their wives and children, their parents-in-law, and those who look down on them.
Zhang Aiguo immediately found his group. While fighting, everyone spoke freely, venting their grievances and cursing, as if the whole world had wronged them.
