Chapter 97 Isn't it him? Rare Housing Listings

Shi Qian found the question strange and inexplicable.

"No."

"No? That's impossible. The First Hospital of Beijing? Have you been there?"

"No."

Is that piece of music yours?

Which song?

"The song from the music room this morning."

Shi Qian was surprised that Fu Xiuhan was also present at the time. So why didn't she see him?

"yes."

When was it written?

"A few years ago, I think."

"Specific date?"

"I don't remember that clearly, probably junior high."

Fu Xiuhan refused to give up. How could it not match up? Shi Qian was clearly that little boy!

Fu Xiuhan's attitude towards Shi Yan had softened before because Shi Yan played a piece of music. Although it was different from the one he had heard when he was a child, the style was very similar. Therefore, Fu Xiuhan allowed Shi Yan to get close to him.

But he also knew clearly that Shi Yan was not that person. He had asked Shi Yan indirectly before, and Shi Yan's answers were all perfect, but Fu Xiuhan could not see the shadow of that little boy from Shi Yan.

Fu Xiuhan is a person who trusts his intuition. Perhaps Shi Yan's song just happened to have a similar style. He didn't associate it with Shi Qian at the time. After all, Shi Qian was still immersed in the non-mainstream culture and couldn't extricate himself. It was difficult for Fu Xiuhan to see anything substantial through his flamboyant appearance.

But Shi Qian was different after returning from his senior year of high school. Fu Xiuhan could feel a strange sense of familiarity from him, especially when Shi Qian was playing the violin, that feeling reached its peak.

Therefore, Fu Xiuhan was almost certain that Shi Qian was the person from back then.

However, Shi Qian's current answer is completely inconsistent.

"Did you hit your head when you were little and suffer from amnesia?" Fu Xiuhan recalled that the little boy had a bandage around his head back then. Maybe he had injured his head and forgot about his past.

"No, you look like you've hit your head. Okay, I'm sleepy now and I'm going to take a nap. Do as you please."

Shi Qian deeply regretted opening the door for Fu Xiuhan. Rather than listening to Fu Xiuhan's nonsense here, she would rather go back to her room and go to sleep.

Shi Qian yawned, went back to her room and closed the door, reminding Fu Xiuhan to remember to close his dorm room door before leaving.

Fu Xiuhan looked at Shi Qian's tightly closed door, his brows furrowing slightly, still wondering if it really wasn't him.

On the other end, Meng Qing received a call from Yan Xian. Yan Xian was not one to hold back his messages. After getting Meng Qing's number, he started sending messages to Meng Qing every day, asking when he would come to the company. Meng Qing always said he was busy.

Yan Xian simply made a phone call. He wanted to see Meng Qing no matter what. He wouldn't feel at ease until Meng Qing came to the company to sign the contract with him.

Meng Qing had no choice but to wait a while before trying to contact Yan Xian again. However, seeing that Yan Xian seemed impatient, Meng Qing told him that she would be there at the end of the month, and Yan Xian stopped harassing her with phone calls and text messages.

Fortunately, she had finished all the orders she had taken on before. Meng Qing checked her account and found a large sum of money had been added.

He spent the weekend visiting several places and looking at several properties before finally settling on a property in a neighborhood with strict security.

Meng Qing didn't hesitate much and bought two large apartments. He asked the real estate agent to rent out one of them at a very favorable price.

Ever since the commotion between Shi Qian and Shi Yan in the music room, Shi Yan hasn't come to school. I heard that he injured his hand and can't play the violin for the time being. He's even stopped performing his usual solo piece at the arts festival.

The incident in the music room that day did not spread. Among those present, Chen Qian and the band members knew what had happened, but because they had a good relationship with Shi Yan, they did not tell anyone.

Shi Qian wasn't one to gossip, so all that was known outside was that after Shi Qian and Shi Yan were called to the music room by their teacher, Shi Yan was soon carried to the infirmary, and then the next day it was announced that Shi Yan's solo performance had been canceled and that he had gone home to recover.

So some people started spreading rumors that Shi Qian got angry and hit Shi Yan with a chair in the music room, injuring Shi Yan's hand. Some even said that it was broken or fractured, so Shi Yan couldn't perform at this year's arts festival.

They also said that the matter had become quite a big deal, with the principal and the police arriving. They said they originally intended to take Shi Qian away, but Shi Yan pleaded for her, and in the end, she only received a verbal reprimand before leaving.

The gossip spread far and wide, and everyone believed it without a doubt. After all, Shi Yan had a good reputation at school, and those who had interacted with him said he was gentle. That morning, quite a few people saw Shi Yan and Shi Qian arguing at the entrance of Class 1, and it seemed that Shi Yan had even been scolded to tears by Shi Qian.

As a result, Shi Qian's reputation worsened. Even if the previous posts about plastic surgery and being kept by a sugar daddy were fake, it was true that Shi Qian bullied and harassed his classmates. He not only stole his own cousin's sheet music but also broke his cousin's hand. It was truly outrageous for a poor relative to ride on the head of a real young master.

The crowd felt more disgusted with Shi Qian and more sympathetic towards Shi Yan. They had thought that the Shi family would stand up for Shi Yan and make trouble for Shi Qian, at least teaching him a lesson, such as putting him in solitary confinement.

But everyone could see that Shi Qian's daily routine was very regular, going between the dormitory, the canteen, the classroom, and the music room, without any problems whatsoever.

It seems Shi Yanren is really too kind. Even after being beaten, he still pleaded for Shi Qian and covered it up, asking his family not to cause trouble for Shi Qian. He might even say that he accidentally injured his hand.

Shi Qian had no idea how far the rumors from school had spread. With Shi Yan away, no one was bothering him, so he was happy to be free.

He no longer needs to apply for the music room. Before, Shi Qian had submitted an application to Chen Qian in a seemingly proper manner, but after Chen Qian learned that Chairman Yan and Shi Qian had a good relationship, how could he dare not let him in? He told Shi Qian that he no longer needed to write applications and could go whenever he wanted.
