Chapter 118 Digging Holes and Counting Silver

Chapter 118 Digging Holes and Counting Silver

Ning Bao couldn't help but roll her eyes at the second bandit leader as he listened to his rambling.

That idiot, the second bandit, is now pinning the credit for blinding him on that ghost messenger, Wuya.

But that's not important. What's important is that this wicked bandit can't be allowed to live today.

Ning Bao doesn't kill easily, but she never shows mercy to evil people.

Ning Bao swaggered up to the second bandit leader, pulled a bloody chopstick from his eye, and forcefully stabbed it into the bandit leader's fatal acupoint.

Ningbao patted the dust off his hands, which wasn't even there, and then kicked the second bandit's corpse twice with his chubby little feet.

This bandit leader is the second-in-command of the mountain stronghold, and this is his residence. Ning Bao, this little expert at finding treasure, isn't planning to leave just like that.

She took out her small compass and carefully examined the cave.

Not long after, they found a small hole under the stone bed where the second bandit was sleeping.

A rock blocked the entrance to the cave. Once the rock was removed, several tattered bundles were found inside the cave.

Ningbao bent over at the entrance of the hole, her little bottom sticking out, and kept rummaging inside with her little hands. After a while, she pulled out five or six bundles.

Ningbao didn't squat down and open the bundles until she had dug them all out of the small hole.

To her surprise, she discovered that these bundles contained not only gold and silver jewelry, but also many antiques, calligraphy and paintings, silver notes and ingots. It seemed that this was the second bandit's secret stash.

However, the quality of these gold and silver jewelry pieces wasn't very good. Ning Bao looked through the pile of items and finally just took two large silver ingots and gave them to Shen Junshan.

"My uncle took it to buy steamed buns for my cousins."

Shen Junshan initially wanted to decline, but when he saw Ning Bao's earnest little eyes, he didn't say anything and simply took the silver ingot Ning Bao handed him and stuffed it into his pocket.

"Okay, thank you Ningbao."

After Ning Bao had cleaned up all the valuables in the bandit leader's cave, she turned to Shen Junshan and whispered,

"Come on, Uncle, let's go find the next one."

Shen Junshan raised an eyebrow as he watched Ning Bao's actions. His niece was only three and a half years old, yet she could kill without batting an eye and control her emotions with ease when faced with gold and silver. She was indeed extraordinary.

The uncle and nephew continued on their way, and Ningbao would stay in every cave they passed to kill people and steal their loot.

…………

The bandit leader, who had previously separated from the second bandit leader, originally planned to go back to sleep and recuperate.

But lying in bed, he felt uneasy and restless, so he got up and went to find his second and third brothers to discuss a plan for revenge the next day.

He arrived at the third bandit's room and found it empty, but he didn't think much of it. He assumed his third brother had gone to the outhouse, so he turned around and prepared to go to the second bandit's room first.

Anyway, the third brother is timid and afraid of trouble, so he can't come up with any ideas.

However, as soon as he turned around, he saw a wood-chopping knife floating in the air, slashing straight at him.

By the time he felt the pain, the wood-chopping knife was already cleaving straight down at his face, and he fell to the ground with his eyes wide open.

The bandit leader never knew how he died, and Ning Bao just gave him a disdainful look and then ignored him.

With the bandit leader dead, Ning Bao became even more unscrupulous, roaming the entire mountain stronghold without mercy. She spared no bandit who had killed anyone.
