Chapter 368 Education from My Own Father (1/2)

Chapter 368 Education from One's Own Father

Ning Bao placed the unconscious Tai Qing into a separate storage talisman.

“Father, Uncle Gu, just take this one down with you. I think he has some kind of entanglement with my master.”

I dare not handle it rashly; I'll wait until I get back and let my master deal with it himself.

The others have murders on their hands; their intentions are wicked, there's no point in keeping them alive, so let's just get rid of them.

Ning Bao looked around and suddenly her eyes lit up with joy.

"Dad, Uncle Gu, you two take your time. I'm going to wander around over there."

Ning Bao had just seen a room gleaming with gold, and she guessed that it might be Tai Qing's bedroom.

Taiqing has been dealing with rich people for quite some time now.

Judging from Ning Bao's initial acquaintance with Tai Qing, it's clear that this man is definitely a greedy and pleasure-seeking person, and he must have accumulated a lot of wealth in the capital over the years.

A thrifty little girl like Ningbao would never let go of an opportunity to swindle money from her.

Ning Bao quickly ran towards the room that had just been emitting golden light after leaving the lobby.

She didn't forget to visit other houses along the way.

However, the other rooms were really simple, with nothing but basic tables, chairs and benches.

Ningbao looked at the room in front of her, and she thought she had gone to the wrong place...

There was nothing else but a wooden plank bed, a dilapidated square table, and two broken chairs.

Where is the golden light?

Did she see it wrong?

Ningbao left the room to look again, and she found that the room was still shining with gold. It seemed that she was not mistaken, but that there was a mystery in the room.

Ningbao was most interested in finding things like secret vaults and hidden rooms.

Ning Bao carefully examined the layout of the room, then walked straight to the wooden bed.

With one kick, the bed shattered into pieces, revealing the entrance to the dark room.

Ning Bao opened the entrance and went inside.

The secret room wasn't dug very deep; Ning Bao had only walked a few steps from the entrance when she saw a secret room the size of a room.

The dark room was filled with large wooden crates, and Ning Bao, without any hesitation, simply cleaved the crate lids open with her bare hands…

Wow!

Silver ingot!

Ning Bao chopped open all the dozens of boxes and was surprised to find that they contained gold and silver jewelry, antiques and paintings, and even several boxes of precious medicinal herbs.

These are all good stuff!

Ningbao waved her hand and put all these things into the storage talisman.

After collecting the boxes, Ning Bao wandered around the Taoist temple again, but found that there was nothing good left, so she went to find Zhou Chengxing and Gu Zheyuan.

When she arrived, Gu Zheyuan and the other person had just finished dealing with the matter. Ning Bao didn't even ask how they handled it; she simply quietly put away the newly added spirits.

"Father, Uncle Gu, let's go down the mountain."

Gu Zheyuan glanced down the steep mountainside.

"Ningbao, should we walk down or fly down this time?"

Ning Bao took out two flying talismans and handed them to Zhou Chengxing and Gu Zheyuan.

"Fly back!"

It's still dark. If we go back, we can get some sleep. If we keep walking, it will be daylight by the time we reach the village.

Ningbao is sleepy and wants to go home to sleep early. If she doesn't sleep well, she won't grow tall.

With the flying talisman, the group arrived at the village in no time.

Gu Zheyuan had already arranged for an empty room to be prepared, and Ning Bao slept soundly through the night.

She was still dreaming of eating a chicken leg when her dad woke her up.

"Ningbao, get up quickly. Something happened in the village. Your Uncle Gu wants us to go and take a look."
