They were all stored in the storage talisman they carried with them.
Now everything is just what it takes to use, so there's no need to buy them separately anymore.
After filling their water containers and buying enough food, Ningbao, Lengbing, and Lengshuang used their flying talismans in a deserted area outside the city.
Meanwhile, the Taoist priest Sanqing was lazily lying in his makeshift shack, licking his dry lips.
"Another day has passed. Junior brother, do you have any water over there?"
Master Wuchen licked his dry lips.
"That's all. I told you before to take it slow and steady, but you just wouldn't listen and insisted on drinking your fill in one go."
Our water and food have been distributed; if you've finished yours, then you'll be thirsty.
"Junior brother, you can't do this. We're brothers, you can't just stand by and watch someone die."
"Alas!" Master Wuchen sighed helplessly, handing the water pouch at his waist to Master Sanqing.
"Senior brother, this is all the water I have left. You can have it all, so drink it sparingly."
Master Sanqing received the water pouch, his eyes welling up with tears of emotion.
"Junior brother, you drink first."
Wu Chen shook his head.
"No need, you drink it. I'll go outside and collect some dew."
These past few days they've been surviving on collected dew, but how much dew is there? They can't even collect a single drop after working for half a day, though it's enough to wet their lips.
Master Sanqing looked at the water pouch in his hand, tears welling in his eyes, and took a large gulp. He knew this water was saved up by his junior brother for him. Looking at the sky, he couldn't help but mutter softly,
"I hope my little apprentice can find it before I die of thirst..."
"Oh! Master, you miss me so much?"
Master Sanqing stared in disbelief at Ning Bao, who had suddenly fallen from the sky. He rubbed his eyes, regained his composure, and reached out to pinch Ning Bao's ear.
"Hot?"
Is there a shadow?
Are you really Ningbao?
Just when Ningbao thought her master had lost his mind, Master Sanqing burst into laughter.
"Ha ha ha ha!
Heaven hasn't forsaken me!
My little apprentice is here!
I knew I'd have to rely on my little apprentice!
Junior brother! Junior brother! Cough cough cough..............Master................
Due to prolonged dehydration, Master Sanqing's throat became so dry that he could no longer speak after only a few shouts.
Leng Bing quickly appeared and handed over a bamboo tube filled with water.
"Master, would you like some water first?"
"There's water?" Master Sanqing snatched the bamboo tube from Leng Bing's hand and gulped it down.
"This is so refreshing! I haven't had such a satisfying drink of water in ages."
.........................
Master Wuchen, who was collecting dew on the other side of the island, rushed over when he heard his senior brother's shout. He thought something had happened to his unreliable senior brother again.
He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Ning Bao.
Ning Bao was taken aback when she saw Daoist Wu Chen. She hadn't expected her own martial uncle to be here, since her master and martial uncle hadn't gone out together back then.
It seems the two brothers had made an appointment.
Looking at her martial uncle's chapped lips, Ningbao knew that her martial uncle was even thirstier than her master.
